Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

...wait, what did that girl say? she asked herself, her face dropping out of its smile as the tallfellow's words registered with her. Did she just...?

But before Alea could really respond, the girl ended up in the care of- Bartimus, it seemed the birdman's name was- and, after some conversation with the less-than-friendly man in the dark coat and the announcement of the group's splitting by Irthorne, ultimately wandered off toward the crypt, Bartimus next to her like a loyal guard. Well, since she had after all found her way into that group, it seemed whatever Kara - was that her name? Really, Masrith didn't suit a young girl like her, and she had a sneaking suspicion that the paler tall dwarf had already taken Amarilla as a name - whatever Kara's true personality was would sooner or later become clear as daylight, even in the dark. Especially in the dark, actually. The arakhan were well known for... well, they weren't, but that didn't mean their ability to see in the dark wasn't any good. Better than most tall dwarves, certainly; there were quite a few benefits to be had from possessing five eyes, after all.

But alas, she hadn't the time to dilly-dally. The others by now were already making their way to the crypt, though not two minutes had passed! Best not to make a bad impression upon the gnome mage, after all. Strolling after the others in the crypt-delving group, she made her way into the crypt's front room, taking a glance around at her final companions: Kara, of course, and Bartimus the birdperson; the pale tall dwarf, once again most likely to be Amarilla; and... well, she supposed it was no bad thing to have the illithid close to hand. Certainly, unless he somehow overwhelmed five other people at once, he'd have a lot of trouble betraying them all without being killed, if indeed he planned to do so. Then again, if she knew her illithids, he'd more likely control just one or two of them, and use those bodies to kill the other three before ending their own lives. Or not. Which would be worse, she wondered? But that was neither here nor there; she was sure he wouldn't do anything so foolhardy as that. Not with muscles like... No, no, bad Alea, she scolded herself. No ogling the muscular tentacle abomination.
'Hohoho, shit's getting REAL now!' Deprave yelled, sneering at the sight of the demonic entity with much too wide a grin to be attractive. Fucking didn't even have lips, did he? Still, lots of easily accessed teeth... easily smashed teeth. Speaking of getting smashed, he was hardly going to apologise to Blog for his being in the way of his throw... and speaking of getting fucking smashed, what the hell was in that needle he just stabbed himself with? He knew Frag was a crazy motherfucker, but he looked totally out of it now! He'd have to get himself some of that... or, well, it wasn't like he needed it to begin with. But still...

Though actually, he was standing still at the moment, wasn't he? Even the lazy-ass crab monster, who still hadn't stood up, was starting to bite at Nefas' ankles a little bit. But why stop at ankles? Deprave thought to himself. Let's go ahead and break every bone in the fucker's arms! What's he gonna do without those, eh? Plastering a grimace-like smirk on his face, he began steadily strolling toward the enemy Cambion, ready and waiting for the prick to make his move, so he could stop it dead and fuck the guy up. Oh, the fun he was going to have when the guy was finally incapacitated...
@KillerQueen66 JoJo RP, you say? Funnily enough, I would be interested in one of those. Consider me pre-signed... unless it was you wanting to join somebody else's game, in which case, I'll keep in touch. or not as the case may be 'splosion man hue hua
Alessa Heather: Streets of Denver (Storm Drain)

Alessa really didn't understand what had just happened, what with having been blinded by her own light. At first, after a brief moment of legitimate fear, when Eyeblight complied with his promise to set off the detonator, only for nothing to happen, she was ecstatic. They'd done it, they'd actually caught one of the leaders of the Community!

The next moment, the crack of thunder sounded from outside, shockingly close. Two in sequence, actually; the second corresponded with a flash of light, followed by- was that skin she saw through the pinhole?- for but a fraction of a second, and then another blast of sound and light hit her from not-quite point blank, but near enough that the noise practically deafened her and the light blocked out what little vision she had left herself.

And like that, Eyeblight had seemingly vanished. A moment of hesitation hit her before she took the risk and allowed the light blocking her sight to fade (but not that hiding her face, of course, just in case a villain was still present), only allowing the heat beams to fade after she had confirmed that, somehow, Eyeblight had vanished completely. There was only one question really going through her head at that moment: what the hell just happened? Though in fairness, if who she suspected was involved was in fact involved, her question was half-answered already. And for the other half...

'Sonar, what just happened?' she asked out loud. No response. That wasn't good; there was, she felt, no particular reason he couldn't respond almost immediately with his power, unless something had happened to him. So, plan B: activate the Protectorate Communication Earpiece and start talking to the team upstairs. 'Margrave, Martyr, Epsilon, status report,' she quickly uttered, the earpiece picking up her voice and sending it to those three specifically. 'What just happened up there?' She prayed it wasn't anything too bad.
Nuva nodded at her explanation of her tasking under the captain, and again at her brief job description. He was brought to a pause, however, at her own question about his curiosity. Not that he'd explicitly asked, but since she mentioned it, it struck him that he was now wondering about how she functioned... and, once again, how much she knew about him. She hadn't explicitly suggested knowing the truth, but when it came to finding out things that others weren't meant to know, his true heritage was one of those things, and her smile suggested she knew all too much about that.

He blinked himself back into cognizance by the time Haukford called for the gnomes to quiet down. By then, the room was getting a tad too full for his liking, even considering the reduced size of the gnomes, and he scrambled for words to answer his conversation partner: 'Uh. Uh. W-well. I mean, it is, you know, always a good idea, I think, to uhh, to keep track. Of-of what everybody in the team can do. To help coordinate them, of course. Yes.' The stuttered explanation was, he felt, full of holes, namely where he'd learned that gauging that sort of thing was a good idea to begin with, but if she knew already, he hardly needed to explain himself further. And, since one of the gnomes was now grabbing her attention, he hardly wanted to explain himself further anyway. And since she was in fact preoccupied now, he took the chance to sidle off into the vault proper, wondering if and when Morek would return so he could take his food, and with it his leave of the situation. Maybe he'd ask the dwarf how he was doing, just to give himself a reason not to head back out until the others had left.

It was, Settionne supposed, pleasing to know that the Lizardman - called Argon, he learned at some point in the next few hours of hiking - did not seem to hold any particular grudge against him. Even so, he wondered at the creature's ability to survive in this frankly unpalatable climate, for how foul the stench became at times. Indeed, he was inclined to wonder how such a disgusting "land" formed to begin with. Some form of evil power, he imagined. Really, that was the only explanation that made sense, considering that there really were dark powers at work in the Southlands.

Even so, he managed to take his mind off it by keeping up small talk with the others in the party, and for whatever lurching horrors the swamp could inflict upon them and theirs, it could not last forever. The group finally reached dry land once more, and for his efforts, Sett was rewarded with bog-soaked leggings. And what a shame, for that was good cloth too... though he was barely given but a few minutes to resolve the matter, for not minutes later, the party was confronted, albeit briefly, by a band of Wood Elves, or who he assumed were Wood Elves, for it of course followed that other sorts of Elf would live elsewhere than the woods. And their leader, now that was an attractively-clad woman. Her armour was very well fitted, and obviously very well made, and he was quite sure whatever weapon she wielded was of similar high quality... and he supposed the woman herself was attractive too, albeit in the same way as the Elven Princess Vanya - a beauty to be observed, not handled, and woe betide anybody who tried it. And similarly for anybody who tried to steal anything: aside from the sheer number of potential watchers, the woman herself was surely exceptionally eagle-eyed. Sett worried he'd lose the opportunity to nab anything at all for himself, with how utterly impossible such a thing had been as of recent.

But alas, enough of that sort of thinking. T'was time to explain to and mollycoddle the authority around these parts. 'I will report one minor setback,' he began to say jovially, 'taking the form of some swamp monstrosity, but rest assured our friend here handled the matter most handily.' He gestured to Argon before continuing to talk: 'Nevertheless, we are alive and unharmed, though it seems in a less well-kept state than you and yours, miss- am I missing a title?- Verya, and might I say what a truly brilliant sight you are, even in these harsh conditions?' He supposed his mild flirt may well be disregarded by the Elven commander in much the same way that Vanya had disregarded him last night, but it was hardly a loss anyway. Let them think he was a hopeless flirt; so much the better when his opportunity to act finally arose.

@POOHEAD189 Alright, thank you. I'll see about getting a post out by tomorrow, for this game and Mercenaries.
'None specifically, sir,' Alea said politely. 'I only wanted to confirm, having learned that we're to be split into two groups, that I would in fact be heading into the crypts. Not that either task would be anything to complain about, only I have plans to write a book about our adventures within the crypt, and, well, that's hardly possible if I've been sitting outside it, don't you agree? Ahuhuhuhuhu~...'

It was around this point, as she covered her mouth to giggle to herself, that she was approached by the adorable little tall dwarf girl, greeted and complimented, then asked if she liked plants. This got her attention, though as she crouched down a little to match the girl’s eye level, she found herself a tad put off by the blurted statement about bug eating. That wasn’t to say the girl was wrong about her eating bugs, but it wasn’t like she just gathered insects from who knows where and stuffed them in her mouth! That was what the peasantry did. And darn it, she would not be compared to the peasantry!

Or so she told herself. ‘You know, there are more polite ways to greet somebody than asking them to do your gardening for you...’ she began, only to trail off as she got a closer look at the girl’s face. Goodness, though, she really was simply adorable to behold, enough to put a smile on the spidery noble’s face. ‘Oh, but I can hardly be upset with you~. Look at you, you’re so squishy!’ she exclaimed, taking a moment to lightly pinch the girl’s cheeks, and giggling to herself once more. Why had nobody told her tallfellow children were this cute? Now she wanted to adopt a hundred of them. She could probably afford that, right?

@Banana@Kafka Komedy
@POOHEAD189 Yeah, I'm not entirely sure where to go as far as inserting Sett into a conversation. Of course, I've been procrastinating, but that's not helped either. Anyways, like I said, I'll do a post tomorrow.
@POOHEAD189 ...he said, knowing full well that I hadn't posted in nineteen days. Hue hua hue... but yeah, I'll see about getting a post out for this game tomorrow.
