Warhammer Fantasy NRP - OOC UP

My first thought upon seeing this was that I wouldn't have time for another RP, but it occurs to me that NRPs are usually quite slow, so I've decided I might as well have a go. Make me the Ogre Kingdoms, @ClocktowerEchos! And so everybody knows, I intend to merge Dragon Ogres into that group, since they are called "Ogres" after all. I even have an idea for how that might work. The only thing I'd like to clarify is the distinction between Heroes and Lords, more specifically which of the two is "the stronger grouping" so that I can put units into the appropriate tiers accordingly.

It seemed Inquisitor Kliment had given up on the governor, then. A pity, that was, for the governor's innocence was almost assured if he had needed to be replaced with somebody else... but naturally, when the Inquisitor mentioned the execution of heretics, Alexandra perked up, for that was what any Hospitaller was good at: discovering, rooting out, and ultimately destroying heresy. And with this in mind, she hoped that Confessor Horacio would pick Sisters other than herself, so that she as a Hospitaller could do her duty.

And, it seemed, he ultimately did, once they reached ground level. Though Sister Vitruvia was certainly lucky to have the opportunity to investigate the corruption of this world's people directly, Alexa was nonetheless somewhat glad her grin was hidden beneath her helmet. Otherwise, she had no words to offer, no need to provide additional assistance, beyond following the Inquisitor's orders - so she didn't say anything, instead moving out to try and find a vehicle to co-opt for their purposes. Actually finding a vehicle wasn't so hard, as it happened... the tricky part would be getting it to start, not something she had much skill in. Or any other Sister, at least that she knew of- they were trained to fight the enemies of Mankind, not to hotwire cars- and perhaps she was being too soft in thinking that disrupting the Hive workers in their duties and forcing them to hand their vehicles over would be unhelpful. Though some of her fellow Sisters had gotten to dealing with their own situations, so that was at the very least an alternate possibility.

@Necroes Wouldn't three Marines be more massive than one Ogryn overall, therefore a bigger challenge? Also, need I take us back to the discussion about Marines being more generally skilled, and thus more generally dangerous opponents, than the typical Ogryn, which I'd assume the typical Ork is intelligent enough to realise? And there's three of those guys visibly on the same team now, so three times as dangerous as that.

@Necroes ...the biggest guys in the room are the ones in armour, surely? Lucius is big, but he's not in armour, and is therefore not as big as the ones in armour. Also, how does helping the apothecary get Urgrugg a new power klaw? He'd have better chances of that by helping the Heretek, surely.

@Necroes The Ork is not one of Lucius' followers at the moment, and to Lucius' mind is unlikely to follow him on account of being an Ork. Yes, he could try to kill Lucius; OOOOOOR he could go where the fighting's better and attack the guys with actual armour.

You know what, I just realised that I've had a perfect setup for my next post the whole time, given that part of Alexa's job involves ensuring people are not heretics. So that'll be coming around tomorrow for sure.

@Wraithblade6 You could have chosen to avoid a fate of such substantial inaction earlier, you know. Heck, you could still attempt to try and un-paralyse now and help Lucius and Ga'duk not die, if manatee will allow it.

@Klomster You control a man who controls robot bits of himself. Have him get involved with this fight, perhaps. Maybe he sees an opportunity to, like, try and kill one of Azazel's subordinate Marines, for some reason, I don't know.

@jynmi88 Sure thing. Incidentally, I also have an idea for a giant character, who for the sake of story arcs would probably start with Life Return, only to acquire a Devil Fruit ability later on, possibly by accident. I might go with him instead, if I join this.

@LokiLeo789 Taking a look at your character, I figured I'd pop in and suggest that, since komodo dragons are a type of lizard, it might be worth calling the Devil Fruit Bahamut uses the Toka Toka no Mi, a.k.a. the Lizard-Lizard Fruit, since the Japanese word "tokage" means lizard, though obviously the Komodo Dragon is still the model. Just a thought, is all.

As for whether I intend to join this... I do have a character idea for a Logia user, but I also have a lot of RPs with levels of activity that sometimes take up a lot of focus, so I'm not convinced I could maintain sufficient activity for this one, at least for the time being. I may change my mind later on, or my circumstances may change at a later date. I'll probably keep an eye on this either way.
