Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

@Wraithblade6 His reaction will probably be closer to "Emperor fucking damn it, stop killing my allies!" than anything resembling guilt on his part. Obviously, none of that was HIS fault. The Ogryn just wasn't anything close to as useful as he'd initially imagined, which ultimately cost it.
@Kafka Komedy There is a picture of him, so feel free to figure that out for yourself. Otherwise, assume it's pretty bulky full plate over full chainmail over full leather. You know, like what a lot of knights wore.

As for dream shattering... he may or may not assist her in her goals. This needs to be determined, of course.
@Kafka Komedy Hah. She can try. He also didn't really say much to hurt her feelings that badly yet, sooo...

...wait, "Tyr"? Now why did that ring a bell in Mark's mind? He was sure he'd heard the name somewhere... and Tue wanted to become the next demon lord, it turned out... were they related? Maybe...

...nnnope, there went his train of thought. Darned rabbit doll, hopping around so quickly. Anyway, he really did need to have words with the mask about her aspirations.

'Yeah, uh... Demon Lord, right... yeah, about that... I mean, let's be perfectly clear here,' he said in as gentle as tone as possible for a letdown like this, 'the current Demon Lord is REALLY powerful, and REALLY well protected. Not just with force, but with a crap ton of magic. She's not- I mean, it's a worthy- your goal is... a goal... ehm.'

He needed more information about this, really, before he went on about why Tue was never going to succeed. He promptly called out to the rest of the group: 'Anyone else interested in Exotic Appetites as a quest, follow after Syszi, Tue, and I. We're going to head out some time soon.'

A lot happened in the next few seconds. More than Mark was able to keep up with, in fact: first, the armoured woman Arletta confirmed her undead status by misinterpreting Mark's speech as directed toward all undead; before he could tell her otherwise, Matti leapt down from the roof and basically told the lich off a second time... oh, she had Francis in her name? He wasn't going to call her by her full title by any means, and she deserved to be misrepresented as much as possible, so Francis it was, and Tue apparently agreed to some extent or another. Though apparently, she also planned on becoming the next Demon Lord, so that would require a bit of discussion, first and foremost...

Ultimately, distracted by so many alternate possibilities, Mark failed to pay attention to most of the other arguments and conversations that occurred before Bart's protégé, Neil, finally showed himself to have some spine. Or at least a good voice on him. Yes, he'd definitely want to talk to the kid sooner or later, maybe even mould him into the next Hero of this world if he had the chance... but first, a response to Tue, since he had the opportunity to look at the board the boy was holding whenever. And he was sure Syszi would have her say sooner or later.

Or "right now", apparently, for as soon as he had the thought, Syszi turned to him and cited pretty much his exact thoughts on the... ogreling, he supposed. He still didn't want to call the salamander his wife, even if he knew she saw him as her husband through and through, but he'd relent to "combat partner with benefits". And admittedly, they were quite significant benefits...

'Yeah, sure, why not,' he muttered to her, fairly sure they'd both eventually gang up on Ryla in an effort to figure out what was up with her. Syszi continued by expressing her interest in the first job, and frankly speaking, it wasn't a bad job. On the one hand, the logic seemed simple enough: monsters were kidnapping people there, meaning they needed to be put down. On the other hand, if there was something more sinister going on, there'd be plenty of room for brains to be employed too. Nodding, Mark echoed Syszi: 'I believe Exotic Appetites will work well for my partner and I. Combat partner, my com... Syszi. Yes.

'Oh, and pardon me, Tue,' he continued, placing a hand on the mask's shoulder, 'but what was that about becoming the next Demon Lord? You know that's a major concern of mine, right? Maybe you want to discuss your plans in more detail, since you've mentioned them?' Though the tone wasn't threatening, the intent was... also not threatening. However, Mark again realised too late, it could be interpreted as threatening, which was once again the last thing he wanted, since he'd need as many allies as he could get if he wanted to make sure everybody was good and not-demonically-aligned as possible. He hoped Tue didn't misinterpret it.

@Lady Selune@Kafka Komedy
@Willy Vereb T'was the plan, though given how I've written them up, the Ogre Kingdoms are moving to engage in conquest on a pretty widespread scale, so your contact with them is likely to be... combative, at best.
@BangoSkank No, please, feel free to have a few Skaven troops in the Mountains of Mourn. I'm informed that ogres love the taste of rat meat... but yeah, what Madrigal said works well enough.
@Sophrus Uh, we rewrote our bits already, did we not? And @agentmanatee hasn't posted since then?
@Kafka Komedy Sounds like a plan to me. In lighter news, a fuckton of activity happened whilst I was at work today.
@Wraithblade6 ...that would actually be a pretty solid win for Lucius, all things considered. That is, aside from the continuing need for people, namely Lucius, to get healed by somebody or other. Then again, Thorn there is more likely to recover than Xeph was... who knows.
