A reboot?

Hi!

Yeah, I'm rebooting this, and you're welcome to join. Remember, we're doing a character driven RP here. Even though it's taking place in a medical facility, we aren't going for perfect accuracy. We're focused on the character drama.

Thank you for your interest.

Synopsis:
For what they do, doctors just don't get enough.

They're the people everyone calls upon and takes their services for granted. But so much as make a single mistake, and you're the first person everyone blames.

Long days, hard nights, things people never want to see. Whatever you can think of, they've seen it.

The Caduceus Memorial Hospital, located in Northern California, is the best hospital on the western half of the United States. It offers the most cutting edge medical technology that makes saving lives so much easier and quicker. Its neurology, pediatrics, and cardiovascular department, among many others, are some of the most prestigious programs that people can access in the world. Additionally, it is also one of the top research hospitals in the world, constantly working to innovate and create new technology. The CMMC is also a very popular teaching hospital for many local universities, being an attractive destination for many students from different paths of life.

This is the story of those taking their first steps at this hospital.

Think Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs but with less complicated medical terminology. This RP will be character based, so there is no need to have any medical knowledge whatsoever.

I know what you're thinking, this is in fact the third time this RP has launched, but hopefully this time around it will go better!

A year ago, Nicole would have never thought she'd be in a situation like this, let alone even come close to being in Southeast Asia doing the things that she's doing. This was a far call from the things she did back home in Canada. Gone were the run-of-the-mill routines of having to go into houses and buildings to conduct warrants and whatnot, and now the things that she was doing couldn't even hold a candle to back home in Canada. She didn't expect herself to be deployed on one of the unit's most dangerous missions ever. She'd heard of November before, and what he'd done to turn the entire organization against him.

Nicole was fresh out of training and now she was going to put that training to use. Even though she didn't have the same background as some of these Tier One operators, she definitely gained a significant amount of ground on her fellow operators. Her skills were definitely much more sharper than they were a year ago. That was most likely why she was selected to undertake the mission with a group of other operators. She was definitely the greenest of the group, but that didn't mean she couldn't hold her own in sticky situations. Not like there would be many, since they were definitely better trained than whatever they had here.

Right now, Nicole was leaning toward the back of the boat. Just like the rest of her unit, she was dressed in the regular olive drab battle dress uniform they had for environments like these. As they were a clandestine unit, balaclavas were all over the place. The fireteam looked like something straight out of some airsoft, but it worked. They needed to keep their identities a secret and they needed to have the best equipment they could get their hands on to make sure operations wouldn't go haywire. Not like donning a balaclava was new to Nicole, anyway.

Looking over, she could sense that one of her fellow operatives were a bit nervous. She felt that on a spiritual level. She was nervous too, but she kept it under wraps pretty well. It was pretty dark, so she couldn't exactly see what was going on in the boat, but she knew they were getting closer to the rally point, which was what mattered more. Looking down, Nicole checked her G36C one last time. Pulling the charging handle back just a bit, she confirmed that there was, in fact a 5.56mm round in the chamber. Nicole then listened to her fellow operator speak about his feelings regarding the open nature of their method of transportation. He did have a point. Going in like this had rendered the operators like fish in a barrel.

Hopefully they'd soon be out of this and get to a safer position. Prophet readjusted his position, acting like he was seeing something that he didn't like. Peering in closer, his decision to do so was soon met with a 7.62mm in between the eyes. His body crumpled onto the boat and everyone started to scramble as the lights came on and gunfire was heard. Unfortunately, Buffalo had also taken a few shots to the chest and died on the spot, before Nicole was smart enough to dive out of the boat and get underneath the water for safety. Another body then fell into the water in front of Nicole, who was unfortunate enough to take a few more shots. Swimming underneath the boat, Nicole made her way to the riverbank to make sure that she had a chance at getting away.

Putting a hand up to the riverbank, Nicole slowly dug herself out as the enemies continued to shoot at the boat. Everyone that still remained in the boat was dead by now, but Nicole was lucky enough to evade the ambush. It wasn't smart to fire back. The enemies probably thought she was dead at this point. Radioing for help also wasn't feasible either. By the time help got here, it was going to be far too late. Nicole was going to have to survive by herself for now. She didn't know who else made it out of that ambush, but Nicole didn't care. All that she cared was getting to safety. Running off to the side, she dove behind a tree, quickly taking cover behind it to watch what was happening.

There was no way anyone could have survived that. Nicole took a deep breath and kept her rifle aimed at the boat, just in case there was the possibility of people coming in to clean up. Shit had hit the fan real quick, and right now she was all by herself in a city where everyone was out for her head.

I don't think anyone on here that's worth RPing with cares that much about grammar. As long as it's readable and coherent then it's fine.
