» Kenny wrestles like a strong style wrestler, but with some high-flying luchadore style sprinkled in. He is afraid to start flying if the crowd wants something good. He's a very stiff, fundamental striker but is more than capable of pulling off extremely flashy and acrobatic moves if he needs to. Kenny loves to set up insane throws by softening up his target with a series of strikes before finally pulling off something you'd see in a kung fu movie. He is spectacular at selling moves, and prioritizes the safety of those in the ring with him.

|Gimmick |
» Kenny's gimmick is that he's Chinese. This allows him to channel the most iconic, relevant part of Chinese culture -- kung fu. This works in his favor because his English isn't too good (he can still sell a promo very well though), and holds himself as if an ancient kung fu warrior would. He tries his very best to be humble and grounded, trying to maintain a good image in order to appeal to AWE's Chinese fanbase. His attire and demeanor is an amalgamation of various kung fu icons such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, etc. Most often he comes out shirtless with tight pants that are usually yellow with a black stripe running down the sides (paying homage to Bruce Lee's jumpsuit) and sometimes (like every three matches or so) he comes out with a bandanna to pay homage to Mortal Kombat's Liu Kang. Sometimes, if you're lucky enough, you can hear him making Bruce Lee noises.

» He's a cool dude, however he is rather shy because his English vocabulary isn't large enough to really communicate what he wants to say. He respects everyone in the AWE, whether or not they have feuds, and does not like to quarrel with people. He welcomes fans and is more than willing to interact with them so long as they treat him with the respect he feels he deserves. Sometimes he brings an interpreter, Clara, along to help him interact with his fellow wrestlers, but she's usually busy so he's stuck to communicating via gestures and using every single bit of knowledge he has regarding the English language. He has two Twitter accounts (one in English and one in Chinese), a Facebook page, and an Instagram account.

» Amanda was trained in shoot-style by Hiroto Katashi in Yokkaichi, Japan. A majority of her moveset draws upon her prior martial arts experience, including (amateur) wrestling, judo, karate, and boxing. As a result, she tends to be very stiff with striking attacks, but can display excellent flexibility and acrobatic prowess with grappling moves. Mirroring her MMA style, she tends to be the aggressor, initiating attacks whenever she can. She is also very crafty with her counters, and loves to utilize her opponents' own moves against them whenever possible.

» Amanda's biggest gimmick at the moment is having a very Japanese theme, despite not being Japanese in origin. Those that dislike her often throw insults like "weaboo" at her. This theme is in homage to her trainer, who took her in after her career in mixed martial arts ended. She wears an outfit very similar to Bayley of WWE, but is only colored in white and red. Whichever is primary and secondary varies every time she has a bout. In addition to the color changes, in lieu of the frilly wristbands, she has a sleeve on her right arm that is colored in secondary color of her outfit. She also has tape on her wrists to keep them from getting too banged up. Cutting a promo is not one of her strong suits, however. She lets her wrestling do the talking for her.

» When the cameras turn off, Amanda is a very relaxed and mellow fellow. She's still very green and new to the wrestling scene, so has very few connections outside of AWE. Very rarely has she started drama in AWE. Whatever drama is started in the ring involving her is never pushed on by her. However though, she values loyalty and will defend her allies without hesitation, going as far as even running in on their matches and ruining their day. Whenever Amanda is running her everyday tasks and doing things everyone else does, she is more than happy interacting with the people who recognize her. Pictures, autographs, questions that aren't stupid - she loves to do it all. It makes her day having some little girl come up to her and try to snap a pic with her. Her Twitter and Instagram pages are very active as well, in order to make herself more exposed to the world.

I Wanna Hear Your Opinions On The Different Wrting Levels/Forums.

free: i try to stay away from here as there's not really much substance to be found here. it's great for people who just want to spend no more than ten minutes on a post, want plots to move faster than lightning, or have just started the hobby. however, you won't expect some lord of the rings type of shit here

casual: this is pretty much what rpg is. a majority of the site's RPs take place here and it's the perfect place to be if you're not serious enough for advanced but more serious than free. it's remarkable how much range this section has. you've got your run of the mill slice of life RPs to RPs that have some seriously impressive world-building and plots. the pace usually isn't as quick as free, but it's not usually slow as molasses either.

advanced: honestly i haven't been here much, but from what i've gathered in my brief time is that the best writing happens here most of the time. here you'll find a level of writing that rivals those you'll find in novels. the worlds you'll find in here are usually complex and very coherent, and the same goes for the characters that are in them most of the time. however, RPs tend to move the slowest here, which is probably because it takes decades for people to write posts.

arena: i didn't even know this place was still a thing.

nation: never seen it, but wrapping my head around the idea is breaking my brain so kudos to those that actually enjoy it

1x1: i consider 1x1s the best form of RPing. there's less people you have to babysit, and more opportunities for plots to go in places you'd enjoy. however, i feel as if it's descended into just a place where horny folks camp out and look for someone to write out their fantasies. whatever they wanna do is their business, but i just feel like there's too many people looking for smut rps. it's becoming increasingly harder to find someone who genuinely wants to do something without smut or without running into an incredibly vague interest check, and it's even harder to find someone who will hold onto the RP for longer than a hot minute. posting an interest check in that section is kinda like using tinder or fishing. very rarely will you hook someone, and it's even rarer that you reel them in. i highly recommend in the case that you do find a good partner that you hold onto them like you would a child, because partners are already hard enough to come by, but good partners are like a diamond in the rough.

Alec had strolled into the Training Room on his own accord. He was on his phone, not really paying much mind about what was going on around him. The only piece of information he'd gotten was that the government had sent some of their people to babysit them. Great. Just what Alec needed. More people for look over him and breathe down his throat. It was bad enough that he had the Mayor incident lingering on the back of his mind, but to have the Government sending their cronies all over the place and crawling in and out of this place like a bunch of ants to a picnic had quickly gotten on Alec's nerves. He wasn't that happy about it, nor was he in the mood to do the government's will.

It was bad enough that he was a part of a team that practically replaced the police department, but now... the possibility of moving up in the world hadn't sounded like something Alec was too keen on. Anyway... what was even the point? They'd just failed their mayor not too long ago, so what had brought the US Government to their door? Alec was beyond confused, but it wasn't his place to start questioning it. Instead, he just found a beanbag in the training center and plopped down on it. He was on his phone for the time being, scrolling through various items and pieces on his social media.

He was perfectly content with whatever it was he was doing, until the call to a meeting had come up. Sighing, he'd gotten up from the beanbag. Stupid government. What could they have possibly wanted now? Whistling to himself, he stuck his hands in his pockets and gotten into the elevator a mere few minutes after he'd just arrived. Alec wasn't exactly the most punctual nor the most caring person here. But, a meeting was a meeting, and as much as he didn't want to, he had to. The doors closed on the rather vacant training center as it descended down to wherever everyone was meeting.

The meeting had gone just as Alec had expected it to. More government cronies crawling in and out of this place. Great. He rolled his eyes upon knowing that their local government agent was going to be overseeing every single thing they were doing. Why did they need to do that? Didn't they have better things to do like watch Randy Rando jerk off to his little hentai through his laptop's camera? He was annoyed, and most certainly everyone else around to witness the meeting definitely was as well.

But before Alec could say anything himself, his fellow member had already done him the favor. Stepping up next to him, he nodded in agreement. "Yeah, any reason why, chief? We just had our asses kicked a few days ago... and now you have us all buddy-buddy with the government? What gives?"

He received a brand spanking new beatup Honda Civic that was apparently being held together by duct tape and zip ties. The damn thing didn't even start half the time.
