Current And so when you have one player who plays both of the characters, that means they are dictating and creating their own character growth rather than it being dependent on someone else's writing.

I think the failing of most Fate RPs is that they have each person play both a master and servant. The problem with this is that the bonds between the servant and their master are the deepest growth.

I'm sorry to people who had put effort into the RP I was starting a few months ago. My father passed away unexpectedly on the 1st of July, at the age of 56. So I haven't really been on here much.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm having the most fun with FFXV that I've had with a game since Metal Gear 5.

I went 3/1/19 at support Annie, does that count as being good?

And yes I'm a JG main. But usually an offbrand JG main.
Who is playing Who:

@Bell - Byleth
@TrixyTrix I think someone miiiiiiiight have wanted to play Ingrid, will have to see. As I said, people from the interest check will get priority on characters.

Why do I feel like getting Ingrid is like trying to get Mordred in a Fate RP
Ch. 1 - A Day in Damacia

The sun was shining, birds were chirping... and magic was specifically not in the air. Damacia, a shining city of white and silver, and the main power fighting against Noxus to the East. Damacia had its own problems of course, namely that they saw magic as an absolute crime and imprisoned anyone who was so much as capable of using it. That excluded special outsiders, who were granted permission to enter the city, so long as they did not use their magic, and did not prolong their stay any more than was necessary.

One such purpose which allowed magical guests, was taking on jobs from the local Adventuring Guild. Anything from small time work, to bigger, much more serious threats were laid out for anyone to take on, so long as they understood the risk to their own lives.

This particular branch of the Damacian Adventuring Guild... which was also the headquarters of it, had put out a call for Champions across Runeterra who would take up whatever means of combat they could to protect not just Damacia, but the whole of Runeterra. It promised challenge, fame, glory, and most of all... wealth. After all you couldn't draw people in to go fight bandits and monsters on a baker's salary.

And so, the Guild waited... waited for the day Champions would arrive to take on the jobs listed, and make the land a safer place. They just hoped that whoever showed up were actual Champions, and not some of the local farmers with sharpened pitchforks... again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One such Champion was a Fox... but a particularly magical fox who had given herself human form. It didn't get rid of the fox ears, nor the nine tails swaying about behind her, but she was human enough. In fact, many people recognized her from legends and stories travelers from far to the East told. The Fox of Ionia, a magical creature protecting the land with incredible powers. Of course, many of those stories were exaggerated by farmers or travelers who, being from Damacia, hadn't seen much magic whatsoever.

But the legends were enough to excite the Adventuring Guild, quickly trying to get the fox to sign on and start taking jobs. Before she was willing to do that though... she wanted to know what other sorts of people this offer had drawn in.

@twannyman@Shovel@Stern Algorithm@Skwint
@Yamada Zero@Fabricant451@JrVader and anyone else, OOC is up here

A new year is beginning at Garreg Mach Monastery, that is, the Officer's Academy. With it comes new students, but this year... a new Professor as well. This is the story of that Professor, and the Students she leads. They will all be tested, as their bonds grow and tie them together, as more than just students, as more than just warriors on the battlefield. Someday, they met yet call one another, family.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This information will change as the RP progresses. For now here's the starting information:

Byleth will be played by me, as a leadership role is probably best held by the GM of the RP anyways. So yeah, makes sense to me.

Byleth will be the Professor of the House that has the most people playing students from it. That being said, people who are playing students from other classes are free to have their characters tag along on missions, or even join the class outright. So if Byleth is teaching the Black Eagles, that doesn't mean that playing a Student from the Golden Deer or Blue Lions will be left out of anything.

This RP won't be following the major events of the game. The idea is just to have fun with the Academy Phase. Rather than entire months of the year passing in what feels like a half hour or so... every month is a pretty big deal here.

No metagaming. This much should be obvious... No calling out Edelgard as the Flame Emperor, no calling out Rhea as the Immaculate One. So on and so forth.

Characters:

Well we're dealing with Canon Characters here so, all I really need to know is who is playing what character so I can keep track of that. Mostly first come first serve (Although people who showed interest in the interest check have first pick)
If this is canons then I call dibs on best character/girl.

No I won't say who because it should be obvious.

I mean sure, you can play Bernadetta.
Coming out of the JG as Volibear like youtu.be/fkB3F4-NI8A?t=3
@Skwint I'm actually not that bad. I'm just a casual player. Never touched ranked, play TFT more than actual League. Like you look at my match history and sure... I have random draft games where I played Graves JG, and went 2/8/3. I have a game where I played Teemo JG and went 6/12/6. But then I have games where I play Volibear JG and go 9/0/6, Mundo 4/1/7...
Oh man, I'd love to get into a lighter Taimanin thing but unfortunately I have limited knowlege about the characters since I couldn't get into it much what with the dark themes and all.

The thing about Taimanin is, because it is... what it is, the characters are honestly pretty simple. They aren't intended to be super in depth and so it's very easy to learn them and understand them and their motives. A quick look at a wiki or something can let you figure out a character without too much effort.
