I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.
When it comes to fantasy I feel right at home. For my mind, it is much easier to grasp magical concepts and worlds than sci-fi ones. As a result of this, all the worlds I write up (be it here as a GM or elsewhere) tend to be fantastical in one way or another. I especially enjoy adventure RPs and witch RPs. I like to see new magical systems and am always eager to learn more about the worlds I RP in.
Additionally, all my characters are queer, always. Since I am queer myself and can't imagine playing straight ^^
Although the days of witch hunts are long past us, life isn't roses. While the upcoming election is threatening witches with a potential anti-witch politician claiming the title of president, unrest is stirring in the corners of the world. A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.
A D&D One-Shot. A group of adventurers is hired to find the missing grandson of a wealthy couple visiting the town. He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.
Wandering Topside [1x1]
The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

This is just my character archive. I have recently reorganized it. I made a whole new thread for it, moved the CS I wanted to keep for memories sake over and am now less ashamed to have people stumble upon my creations.
Some helpful tips on running and organizing your roleplay and what to do when your story is concluded. This should help you when running a multi-arc roleplay. You will also find some tips on setting up an Interest Check and OOC here.
Quirks ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.
@Remipa Awesome The concept is pretty simple. Only a few groups of humans are left after the nuclear war. Those people now need to find a new 'normality' in a world full of ashes, dust, violence and blood. Many families have been torn apart by the war. All left is pain and sorrow. I haven't really had a deeper thought into it yet. I wanted to leave that open and see where it goes.
If you want to, I can put a CS up for my character, who would be the mother of the two kids.
The human girl Eretria sat by the bottom of a large tree, leaning against it as she cracks nuts with the end of her sword. Crack. Crack.
Alëa sits in the tree, leaning against the bole and one of her legs dangling off it. She braids her hair as her sister keeps cracking nuts with the sword. Crack. A nearby bird fled as the cracking sounds startled it.
"I am bored", Eretria complains. "I need something to kill."
Alëa kept braiding her hair. "There's a city only five miles away." She pointed into the direction.
"What? You mean Reakyth?", Eretria answered. "That city full of warriors? I don't think attacking that would be a smart move, Alëa."
The elf sighed heavily and dropped braiding her hair. "I never said anything about attacking it. I still have a few coins left. We could stock up our inventory."
Eretria got up and put her sword into her scabbard. Ready to walk those five miles. "Get down, elf!"
Alëa jumped off the tree and landed on the ground. She put her bow and quiver over her shoulder and followed her sister through the woods. "Don't call me elf. Many people would like to shoot me for my ears."
Eretria sped up the pace. She was really done with all this boredom. Time to find some adventure.
Growing up with her adopted sister, they got excellent in fighting together and know each others weak points just too well.
She doesn't care what anyone says. She goes her own way and is not afraid to tell her mind. The human lady has a favor for throwing mean words. She does not apologize, ever.
Eretria solves misunderstandings and disagreements rather with fights than words. She would attack people rather than sneak around them. Her confidence and pride are very high.
She is not afraid of anything. And if she is, she hides it behind a loose mouth and a brave face.
Her real name is unknown. She was found in the forest playing with a doll under a tree at the age of two. Ereteria's parents had taken the little girl into their family with open arms and a warm heart. They gave her the name Amberle.
The little girl would repeat one word all the time. Alëa. And soon that would be the name the girl would listen to. Alëa quickly became her call name, even though Amberle is still her real name.
Alëa is a very smooth person. She can walk through the woods without making a loud. Her hearing is overly good.
While her sister is more the attack-first-ask-questions-later person, she likes to avoid fights, blood and death whenever she can. Eretria often says that makes her weak. But Alëa thinks there's no need for violence if not absolutely necessary. That said, she is still awesome in fighting. Alëa knows how to use an arrow and bow and prefers those weapons over anything else. She never misses her target. (Eretria though, would not even shoot a tree with an arrow when it was hitting her in the face.)
(Similar to Cast Away or Lost) Your character and mine get stranded on an island and are all alone with no idea where the others are.
The two of us have to find a way to live with the situation and survive until we get a way off this island.
What secrets does the island hide? Will we survive?
We live on a planet called a-Teria. The planet exists in universe Six-O-Three (6.03). Our species is very much like the humans ones. There are only a few differences. For one, our species is able to receive children also with two males or two females.
Our lives last longer than on earth. Our technology is way further than theirs and earth itself does not exist in our universe. Earth exists in universe alpha. Also known as A1B3. Or dead zone.
We are a happily married couple. I work at the space union - a place where they learn and discover space.
Every 10 years they choose 12 people who are qualified and who passed the hard theoretical and practical tests. Those 12 people each get one space ship big enough to live in, with supplies to last for years. They get send off into space with their families or without them to bring new discoveries and go search the entire universes.
I get accepted and for us this means a new life. Away from home, but with a lot new adventures ahead of us.
The temptation to travel to universe alpha is always big for every space traveller. There on earth lives the only other species similar to ours. But it's not called dead zone for no reason...
We take the hard and lonely task to bring new information to our world and spend our entire life on this metal space ship.
The question is what does each universe and each planet hold? And will we survive this life?
They sold you. Now you're a slave. You expected some bad treatment and a terrible life. But what you didn't expect was that the woman who bought you was an actual witch.
The whole poison brewing thing and cursing people stuff kind of witch!
The woman owns you now and soon you become not only a slave to clean and grab herbs but you become an apprentice.
The witch is not a nice person and has no patience whatsoever. She's cruel and likes to trick people. Often there's not even a right answer to her questions, but you need to take it as it comes.
The only thing that you didn't expect once you got used to the whole witchcraft thing was... This witch was quiet damn attractive...
Two best friends who live together share a secret. One of them is a werewolf and the other a witch. They mock around and like to make fun of each other but they're closer than sisters.
They know that in the world where magic is hidden from "normal people" there's not only good but also bad.
A group of people are trying to end humanity, thinking it's time for a new age without humans or anything alike.
They only need to being together a bunch of long lost things and if all of them are in one place bad things will happen...
The witch and the werewolf decide to take it upon themselves to find the objects first and keep them safe.
And a special map is supposed to help them...
On their way they will need to make a lot of hard decisions and decide whether they have the time to save a village from a nasty leader or save a few elders from getting banned... or if they move along with closed eyes to lose no time. After all its a race between them and the group of world-end believers.
Everything that is based on a nice developing story is worth a shot. We can make a plot/story together, if you want to.
@Write welcome in the game. enjoy your stay and 'may we meet again'. .... you know... after we got out of this mess of a dark place.... and yeah... if we get out...
Cleo left her hand on the wall to have at least a little guidance while she walked through the pitch dark corridors, as she suddenly stopped. Those wall was not made of smooth cement or bricks. It felt more like... debris piled up. For a moment she wondered why there were debris piled up instead of a solid wall. There has to be a reason.
Just as she was considering trying to use the screen-light of her phone to have a better look at the 'wall', she heard a voice, not far away from her. Cleopatra tensed and didn't move, her hand still on the 'wall' and not breathing. She could make out three persons only a few steps away from her. A light coming from a phone was turned on. A phone.
The voice was male. And according to his words, he was just trapped here, exactly like her. There were others? Did they have the same phone with the same text and the same bandage on their arm?
The second voice to speak was female, and again it sounded rather like she was also trapped in this dark place. Cleo wasn't sure if one of them was only playing victim but instead was the kidnapper or whoever sent this text.
She could either stand and hope she didn't get seen by those people or she could approach them. The third option, leaving, was already out as Cleo wouldn't do that. She didn't even know where she was and by her luck she was already lost and wouldn't even find back to the room she woke up in.
With the hatchet in her hand tightly, she was ready to lift it up whenever someone attacked her. Knowing enough ways to defend herself, she didn't think lowering the hatchet when she approached them would give her any less chances of coming out as the victor in a possible fight. After all swinging a dull hatchet from above was not the only way to get a strike on the enemy. And with the hatchet lowered she had less chances of looking like a crazy murderer.
The girl braced herself for any kind of attack and spoke. "Hello?" She didn't dare to step closer yet. "My name is Cleo and I am trapped in this place. I am confused and according to what I overheard - I'm sorry for that by the way - you are only trapped victims in this weird unreal situation too."
If I remember correctly, @Flightless_Soul and I were walking down the southern path of the Labyrinth while @BilboTheGreat and @duskshine749 were at the garden, about to climb the tree.
Yes that's right. But I actually meant you guys, not your characters. I think this has been on a hold for quiet the time. And I am getting annoyed with it
