No one's noticed spiked magic gauntlet hooded dude?
The tavern had a new patron. In walked in a hooded figure cloaked in green, with nothing to show but two iron gauntlets adorning each hand. When he sat down, the innkeeper offered him a drink, but he refused and requested only a flagon. When his needs were met, he conjured up a greenish glowing liquid and filled his flagon. He drank in slow, civilized sips, unlike many of the other drunks around him.
"'Ey, you. Wanna fight?"
It was a common drunk, but in his hand he looked like he was wielding a spiked club. May an intoxicated thug. The hooded figure did not move.
"I said, you wanna fight?"
Again, the figure did not answer. The thug drunkenly lifted up his club, but the next second later all the spikes were gone. They had seemingly reattached onto the newcomer's gauntlet. The figure plunged his spiked hand into the thug's face. The drunk reeled back in absolute terror, clutching his face in horror and pain. He stumbled back into a gathering of his cronies. Under normal circumstances a bar brawl would've broken out, but what ordinary man could make spikes attach to his hand? Maybe he was a warlock, a magic user. The hooded figure returned to his drink.
"Alright, kid. You got your Advanced Architect Degree from... Wha? Role-player guild? And your professor was.. Ellri?"
"You got that right, sir."
FYI, Karion's picture is that of a DnD Fey Knight.
There are TBR limits on how far his power goes. Well mostly, if he uses too much in one go, he becomes corrupted. He is deadly with his bow, but rarely calls upon his dark powers.
Well... Awkward it is. I think he was interested, but he's a man of actions and not words.
I thought we were on Bor's boat...
Character sheet

Name: Karion Greenwind

(Dude in the middle)

race: Elf
Class: Great knight (technically, he also wields magic so the correct term for this would be swordmage... But if you're not happy I'll change it.)
weapon(s): Magic sword, magic shield and a small dagger
outfit: In picture
Allegiance: None
bio: Karion was born to two courtiers of an elven noble. His mother was a great scholar, teaching aspiring students in her tower for their noble's use. Meanwhile, his father commanded a large garrison of fey knights that safeguarded the noble's courts. Karion inherited a blend of the two: arcane affinity and martial prowess. Training himself, he learned how to infuse swords with magic. He has since left the Feywild for the world, wandering in search of adventure. Across his travels, he came into contact with a magical blade called 'Eladrin' that has certain magical powers and can be used as an arcane focus (something that enhances magical abilities). He also came into possession of Eldar, a magical shield that has healing qualities.
"Two minutes late, Viper." Aurel didn't look up from a piece of parchment that he was poring over. "Time is essential." He finally looked up at his three comrades - Slip, Bullseye and Viper. It wasn't ideal, but it would be enough. He needed to maximize time so they could get their mission done quickly. "Alright, pass this around." He handed the parchment to Pablo. "Tactful is not a bad choice of words, Viper. Well, firstly, the commoners need to let out the anger they've pent up for a decade. Secondly, it's to distract the majority of the Fireblades in the vicinity away from our mission. What you see on that piece of parchment is a map of Fireblade Outpost Four. It is one of the more... fortified camps the Fireblades have overrun. Inside the main building, I have reason to believe that certain secret documents are sitting inside a jeweled, locked iron chest. Those secret documents contain a fair bit of practical intelligence about Dragonmaw's numbers. Amount of men, artillery, treasury, etc, etc. Inside another chest are records of court hearings, many of them unjust, unfair, and corrupt. We plan to snag both chests from their perches in Outpost Four and smuggle them out to foreign powers. The practical intelligence is vital to the generals to plan their invasion, and the court records will inspire outrage in the public. Most of the guards have left to deal with the 'tactful display', but that doesn't mean we won't meet any resistance. Any questions?"
Sure, okay.
