Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.
In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!
Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!
These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.
That's a major bummer, I thought long and hard on those. Anyway, changing out nincada is easy. The gimmick was just a general bug Pokemon. I'd like a heracross but the idea was the first Pokemon he caught was something easy. Let's make it a Beedrill and say he caught it as a Weedle.
If I can't have Ekans I'll look for a similarly scary Pokemon. The idea was it was stronger than his trainer is capable of taming. Suggestions? Maybe a ghastly or a sableye, I'd like some suggestions before I change that.
Anyway, I'll get right on that. After I do, am I good to go?
I'm sure you're all sick and tired of the standard "school of magical lads" and whatnot, but I've been toiling over this concept for a while and the recent 'Umbrella Academy' Netflix adaptation gave me some inspiration to write a particular setting. Without further ado I unreveal my latest creation!
Empyreus academy follows a world set in 2077 after strange UFO land in the center of a fairly populated city. It was considered a national crisis and dealt with very well, though the city was left mostly destroyed and slightly irradiated. It was two months after the crisis that the truly irregular things started to happen. People who had been at the site of the crash suddenly began to emerge with strange mutations and powers of varying degrees and sources. Scientist were baffled, as no amount of studying or theorizing explained these strange change.
Weeks after the global announcement of this phenomenon, an eccentric billionaire revealed a pristine school with dorms and other facilities high in the alps. He offers salvation to any young mutants and any adult willing to pull their weight and teach the new generation, with himself serving as the dean. This is Empyreus Academy. Be ready for hidden secrets, perhaps an overarching storyline or two, and your standard pseudo-sliceoflife sort of deal.

I picked them because they are all similar to critters in the area: ciceda come to Kentucky every four years or so. Ekans was the closest I could find to the cottonhead. The patrat is based on all the groundhogs we have. They're mostly in parks and other cities but they're abundant because people have stopped killing them and they reproduce quickly.
I hope they're in Kentucky but I'm willing to change any pokemon that need to be, obviously
Greetings weary traveler, I invite you to take shelter in my humble 1x1 thread. Of course, I do have some rules to go first:
1. Do not expect a reply every day. I work, go to school full time, and have a life outside the internet. This isn't me trying to be away, it's just realistic.
2. I am looking for a minimum of a paragraph for each post. Things happen, don't worry about it but don't let it drop lower too often.
3. Don't leave the whole story for me to dungeonmaster. I can do that if you want, but then I wouldn't even bother having a character.
4. If you see a :^ then I want that roleplay more that the others.
Now then, let's get to the roleplays. Below are some things I've written. If they are bold then I am especially excited.
Corona :^ In the age of the imperial empire, when the remnants of the Jedi where hunted, a jedi finds themselves stranded on an unpopulated forest moon. Cornered and backed against the wall their enemies begin to gather. When a sith acolyte is sent to finish them, they are bested. Unfortunately, the jedi is unable to bring themselves to end them. So they begin trying to sway them to the light.
Hiders in plain sight After the Jedi order fell, many Jedi scattered across the galaxy. While many died to the oppressive empire in the oncoming years, a select few cling to life: Most hidden in shadowy places or far from the eyes of the average person. But these Jedi aren't there yet. Through years of hiding and evading death, they've found themselves on the very epicenter of the empire, on the planet: Nar shaddaa. When they discover another Jedi with them they team up, but trouble always lurks not far behind.
alone in the dark The sun stopped showing years ago. The clouds are always too thick to see it. The nights are darker, and after a magical sickness afflicted 60% of the population, the world has become a quiet, chaotic place. Now, creatures of the night have come out of hiding and things look grim. Will there be a sanctuary?
The undertowns Bums, vagrants, urchins, and all the other forgotten, discarded people. They hide out in dark alleys and away in streets or ditches that don't get used because they have no other homes. A group of these guttersnipes uncovers an old, underground section of the city that has long since been closed off. To the poor it seems like a glorious find, but why was it locked off?
The hero's hero :^ Union City has been in need of a hero and indeed one showed up, taking on petty criminals and organized crime. During one mission, the hero's luck turns against them and they narrowly escape death thanks to an unknown, mysterious hero. Knowing they aren't alone is new, but will they ever know who their savior was?
New trouble in old ways It's been years since the hero organization, The Justice Crusaders, have disbanded. They made sure to vanquish all their foes before they left. Besides the occasional minor villain here and there, the world has been safe. This has just been the calm before the storm. A force of evil is brewing, waiting to strike. Who will rise to quell this storm?
The old 70 Straight through North America is an old highway from the Ancient U.S.A. I-70 is one of few interstates still mostly intact after the war. It's littered with dangerous raiders and critters who prey on all those foolhardy to believe a trek spanning America would be easy in the apocalypse. A small group has been assembled to try to traverse and charter this long trek in order to establish trade between the two sides. Great sums of caps are going to anyone willing to test their luck. How far will they get?
vault hunters Nowhere in the waste is as rich in old-world technology and goods than the vaults. Once meant for humans, most have become nothing more than caches of goods or dens for dangerous beast or raiders. Many large caravan companies are willing to pay particularly strong groups to go after any rumors and find these pockets of wealth.
Underrail far away from the barren, desecrated land on the surface are many underground railways and caves. The downtrodden, exiles and others of their ilk all gather in these dark places. One day, a few of them uncover the old railways the ones they've lived in are built over. Exploring it may be dangerous but being out in the open is more.
Far from home It's that time again. The next generation of pokemon trainers is starting to spread their wings and go on their own adventures. Two friends set off together from their home town to become the can.
Trouble in the forest Pokemon from the forest lives a fairly civil life. A small pokemon town and hidden dens all quietly live along from one another. Predators and trainers have always been a worry, but recently pokemon have been seeing shadows and hearing whispers in the night. Two pokemon from the forest band together to see what's afoot.
Pro Hero x Police detective :^ Pro hero x Professional trainer Pro hero x Pro hero/sidekick Hero student x hero student
And lastly, let me hear your ideas! I am always interested in something new!
