Marisol stands at 5 foot and 5 inches high and weighs around 125 pounds- a bit over what she is supposed to for a ballerina but she likes tacos too much to give them up. Her hair naturally curly and she likes to keep it down in a bob just above her shoulders. Her face is adorned with quite a few freckles over her cheeks and nose, some over her forehead. It took her a few years to love her freckled face and now tries to keep her make up light so she won't cover them up. Marisol tends to dress in cute pastel colors, with the main color being pink. Marisol was born to Juan Miguel Castillo and Maria Guzman in Martin Luther King Jr Hospital in Compton, California. She's the youngest out of all her four siblings: Lucero, Jose, Jr, and Luis. Since a small age, Marisol always loved dancing. Her parents had enlisted her in after school programs where she learned all sorts of dances: from Folklorico to hip hop and bachata- but her favorite had always been ballet. Since she was little she always admired the beautiful ballet dancers in their tutus and pastel outfits. It was at five years old that Marisol decided to become a ballerina.

Her parents indulged her in the idea while she grew up thinking she would outgrow it. Of course, it didn't stop little Marisol. She would attend ballet classes after school during elementary and middle school. She had been a few programs before and won a few trophies here and there all over California. It seemed like she wasn't going to outgrow ballet anytime soon.

That is how she found out about LAPA, Los Angeles Performing Arts, the best school for talented kids. The best, and the most expensive place to attend school. Marisol determined to attend this school, began to help her parents around their little restaurant in order to pay the tuition for PA, Luckily one of the few programs she had danced for offered to pay half of her four years at the school. Now she works at the local In n' Out to pay the other half and get some extra cash to afford ballerina shoes every week.

Dionne is a beautiful young woman with African roots. She has a slightly curvy build and seemingly flawless, nutmeg-colored skin. She weighs in at a little over one hundred forty pounds and stands at five feet, six inches tall. Dionne carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides, and her head held high. Due to this and her usual wear of high heels, she often looks taller than she really is. Dionne also has a head full of hair that has been loc'ed since she was a toddler; it now reaches her lower back, and is constantly being styled in new ways. When it comes to her fashion sense, Dionne has been known to dress to impress (most of the time), and will usually be found rocking some over-the-top blouse/shirt with a pair of jeans, or a form-fitting dress and some heels. She'll accessorize with gold hair jewelry, numerous bracelets and rings, and a chain she inherited from her grandma.

Dionne is the type of girl who is never afraid to be herself, no matter the circumstances. She's a creative to her very core, and uses her musical talents to express her feelings and work through her problems. Much like her mother, the young woman is very stubborn and blunt; she doesn't like to hold her tongue, and you can always count on her to either tell you things straight like they are or put you in your place and read you to filth when necessary. Although being a little slow to warm up to others, once you're in her good graces, you're pretty much guaranteed a loyal and caring friend.

BIOGRAPHY

Dionne was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, the product of an unexpected teen pregnancy. Her parents were just seventeen years old and four months into their relationship when she was conceived, and despite much protest from both sides of their families, they decided against abortion or adoption. Instead, the couple decided to get hitched just two weeks after they'd both turned eighteen. Little did their families know, they would go on to be married for over eighteen years.

Since neither one of her parents attended college, Dionne's father worked days as a construction worker, while her mother worked nights as a bartender. Money was always tight while Dionne was growing up, but her parents always made sure that she had what he needed to survive. Unfortunately for her, this did not include a lot of the things that young girls her age wanted around that time. While her friends would come to school every year with brand new pairs of sneakers and fly outfits, Dionne was stuck wearing the same old stuff she'd been rocking for years. This, as well as her sassy demeanor, resulted in her having to endure a great deal of bullying. Dionne had already developed thick skin, though, so it never really bothered her as much as her tormentors hoped it would. And instead of focusing on the negative aspects of her life, Dionne decided to put her energy into the things that she enjoyed such as art, poetry, and music.

When Dionne finished ninth grade, she'd already gained a bit of a following on social media and in her city thanks to her brief involvement with a band that called themselves Ego Death. It was after this that she decided to become a solo artist rather than just a bass player, which gave her the freedom to blend as many different genres as she liked, as well as write her own lyrics. It was also after this that she found out about LAPA and begged her parents for weeks to let her audition; when she was accepted into the school, Dionne's parents scraped together whatever money they could and made the move to California in support of their child's dream.

Oliver’s eyes opened just as soon as his alarm started blaring from his mobile phone that laid close enough for him to hear it. With a groan, he reached out and tapped the button on the screen that turned the alarm off. He rose up from his bed and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes with his index finger before he was wandering around his room, rummaging through his closet to look for something to wear on the first day of school. He looked at all of his clothes but nothing seemed to blend together or worked for him.

Nothing.

He rolled his eyes upward because wanted to look his best for today was the day to make the ultimate statement. Today was the first day for the rest of the year that will make or break a person. Oliver wasn’t really one for making statements but it just seems like a day that he needed to start. He continuously rummaged through his clothes then heard his phone ding, which he walked over to check out and seen it was from Hope. Ah, that boy right there was someone special to him in a friendly way, of course. Although, most people do think that they’re dating but it's purely platonic what’s going on between them. His eyes scanned the message then his eyes widened because he completely forgot about going to school with Hope today.

Oliver's palm met his forehead as he cursed under his breath then typed a reply towards Hope.

To: Hope

sure! I am actually almost out the door and headed your way now.

When he sent that message out, he tossed his phone to land onto his bed then ran his hand through his locks of hair before he went back over to his closet and just picked something out. With a shrug of his shoulders, Oliver just went with it and went to shower, brush his teeth and dab on some cologne before racing back to his room to change into his attire for the day. He decided to post a message on Twitter then grabbed his backpack from his bag and exited his room. His parents were already on their way to their respective jobs so the house was pretty much quiet but at least he could really skip breakfast. Oliver grabbed his skateboard from the wall it was designated to then headed out the door, making sure it was locked before he started to skate over towards Hope’s flat.

Twitter Message

He had arrived at Hope’s flat and slowed his skateboard down then kicked it up, which he grabbed and tucked underneath his arm. Oliver sort of knew that Hope was going to flip out because he had no helmet, no pads or anything worthy of his safety. He walked up to his door and knocked on it two times then took a step back as he looked around and waited for Hope to open the door. Whenever the door finally opened, he’d smile brightly and walk inside after greeting Hope.

❝Hey, dude! I hope you made something good for breakfast because I am starved.❞ Oliver muttered to himself as he laid his skateboard down then his backpack before he wandered towards the kitchen, trying to avoid a lecture from Hope because he felt as if one was coming on. He pulled out his mobile phone again because he totally forgot to send a text to someone.

morning! catching a ride with hope to school but save me a seat at the assembly?

When he sent that message out, his eyes would trail up to meet with Hope’s as he smiled then inquired. ❝So, what’s for breakfast?❞
