Some define Darkness as an absence of light, others define it as simply a black mass or even nothingness, and the rest describe it as a physical purgatory, where our worst fears and subterfuge may flourish. They are right.
The dark shroud of nothingness that looms around us when we turn off the lights Is merely a curtain for them to hide behind, they cower at the light, they resent it, they hide from it, and the Darkness is there home. All those times when a parents 6 year old child is asleep at night, regardless of a night light is when they scream and cry for their mothers because they are afraid of the Darkness

Darkness is a roleplay about a few people who discover the truth about the shadows, They learn that behind the black gloom that we can see is an entire world of nightmare and chaos in which light has no place, in such a world, it would be best if you could not see, but no matter what, they can see you.
You thought the shadow under your bed was nothing more? no, its no nothing more, there is just nothing more you can see, which is best, for all you know, there could be 2 inches between you and a physical nightmare. so keep a flashlight handy, you cant kill them, only repel them, so long as the batteries don't die.

personality:as long as they don't have any mental disorder I'm cool with it, a disorder is off limits, like schizophrenia, but an illness like insomnia or hallucinations is fine

will I be able to stop myself if it gets out of hand? jack wondered as time started to slip away, events of the past began to fill his mind, so much had happened to him in such short time that he barley hade time to just sit still and calm down, some of his greatest friends turned their backs on him when they saw his power, his family shut him out when they saw his power, and now he is in a place filled with people, he was grateful that none of them knew his power, as it could hurt someone. he looked at the palm of his hand as a shadow began to manifest in it. "only a week ago I loved you, but now I don't know what to think of you" he said to himself.Jack loved the powers he had, but he also fears it greatly, knowing that others might get hurt if he were to use it.

@Polaris North@KatherinWinterjack sighed as he stepped through the door, he could hear many people on the other end,he put a hand to his eye, he realized that the blood had halted and it was ok, he was more worried though about the mass of people in the area, this filled him with dread, but he pressed on, he saw a few people walking to the gym, at this rate he was a couple feet behin them, but didnt speak to them, he lifted his hood over his head and shoved his hands in his pockets,jack wasnt a praying man but he hoped to god that nothing bad would happen@makarov@BreakingMe
