Current Almost exactly one year since I step away from being here, and a lot can change in that amount of time. Here's hoping I can find a game or two and see how things go from here.

RIP Stan Lee... You will forever be missed. As someone whose grown up reading Marvel comics, you've always have kind of been a part of my life. Thank you for making most of the Marvel heroes we know.

Bio

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.

Just few basic things.

1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.

All set, that's all for now.

Entering the city streets

"Alright, new plan is definitely needed..." Thalia managed to say, before she started trying to focus a bit to try and at least get some of the paralytic out of her system. A small clock face seemingly appeared in her hand, and Thalia focused all of her energy on it, as the arms on the clock started racing and going forward. Suddenly her body shifted, and she felt that she finally had movement once more in her body. Which was a good thing, considering being practically frozen in place was horrible. The slash from his scythe on her back turned into more of a scar, the bleeding having stopped entirely at this point.

New plan, right, things like this weren't getting them anywhere, though the thing she noticed was that Abyss definitely seemed like he was more of a range attacker, while Reaper was obviously way more close combat. "How about we switch dance partners, I can keep him at more of a distance or something," she commented, nodding her head in the direction of Abyss, before with a swift gust of wind, she flew up slightly into the air. Thalia didn't go super high, but at least enough to keep some distance between her and Abyss (and Reaper too).

Reaper instantly started slashing at Ed again, another slash, this time across the chest, but luckily he managed to not get hit by the paralytic this time. However the pain from the injury would be incredibly painful, not to mention the fact that the injury was starting to bleed rather heavily. Seeing this, Thalia sent a breath of fire directly at Reaper, enough to cause him to jump backwards away from Jade and Ed now. Abyss seemed to see Thalia as a bit of a pest of a bug, and saw Jade as one too, as Jade ended up being a decent target, as a tendril slammed into Jade and sent her backwards again. Thalia sent another fireball at Abyss and a few of the tendrils he had caught fire, and he started waving them around trying to put the fires out.

Abandoned Building

The building was coming down, that was just a guaranteed fact. No matter what, it just was more of when. "I can't keep it up much longer!" Mary said, as the vines around the building completely crumbled and the building just started tumbling down entirely.

Inside the building, Lance instantly turned to race down the stairs out of the collapsing building, however he forgot the fact that Sabretooth was still in the room. Sabretooth, who honestly probably had a building collapse on him more than once, decided to make a grab at him, even though the building was starting to collapse completely. Unfortunately, since Lance wasn't much of a fighter, Sabretooth easily managed to grab him by the back of his shirt and ended up starting to lift him off the ground. Instinctively, his body gave off a blinding light, luckily it was enough for him to get Sabretooth to let go of him.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to move much more than a little ways away from Sabretooth before the ceiling completely collapsed in on him. For Carolina and Guin, they weren't able to get much closer to the exit (though thankfully the people they had helped had gotten out) before everything started collapsing in on them entirely too.

Pietro finally snapped out of his stupor, and he charged at full speed into the building. With everything slowing down and the rocks coming down, unfortunately he only had the time to grab one person. There was so much rubble and debris, no matter what he did, he couldn't find a path to be able to save everyone. Rushing in, he managed to grab Guin and race out, though not before both he and Guin got hit by a few blocks of rubble that fell. Guin would end up with a few bruises from the rubble, and Pietro ended up with a gash across his head from it.

The building collapsed and Pietro ended up having to dive in order to get himself and Guin out. Unfortunately, Lance and Carolina were still inside of the building. Both would end up with serious injuries, and they'd be finding it getting to be a bit difficult to breathe in the rubble that more or less was burying them, though they'd have a small air pocket, so they weren't going to die yet. The others would likely want to hurry up to try to unbury them, since otherwise they might end up dead from their injuries, or from suffocation.

"Guina are you okay?" Pietro asked her instantly, more or less tunnel visioning in on her and ignoring the remains of the building entirely.

"...Okay, we need to try to find them quickly in that... And hope we find them fast, since injuries from that could be fatal if not dealt with quickly," Mary said to Cass, heading over to the rubble.

Janelle instantly covered her ears when she heard Nancy's yelling, as the sounds started pressing in on her, it made it really difficult to even hear or understand what the others were saying near her. The sound was way too loud, and the problem for her was that sound was her main way of seeing the world. Without it, or without being able to hear properly, she truly was blind and having difficulty being able to move around. The sound made her stay put, not even moving at all with all of the noise.

Nancy was getting pretty loud, actually that entire argument over there was getting really loud. Though in all honesty he hadn't been paying too much attention to them, that is until the sound started getting even louder, and he noticed that Janelle had more of a reaction to it and was covering her ears. "Janey? An bhfuil tú ceart go leor? Glac anáil dhomhain agus beidh sé ceart go leor..." he said to her, though he wasn't too sure how much of his words she could actually hear, he was a bit concerned.

"Is breá liom Jason, ná bíodh imní ort." she managed to say, taking a deep breath and looking up at him now.

"Ceart go leor, má deir tú amhlaidh," he said with a smile, before he turned to look towards Jace as he was coming around and waking up. This was an instant of where he wished that Jace had stayed knocked out longer since this was going to be an interesting conversation. "Yeah, well de entire situation was weird... What all do you remember? Sence one minute you were talkin wit us, and literally two secahnds later you were attackin us ahr whatever." he ended up asking Jace.

Hearing vaguely Zeke's voice speak up, Janelle turned to look at him as he spoke about them likely needing to try and figure things out. "I'm alright, just... Everythin is way too loud fahr me dough right now..." she said simply to Zeke, only removing her hands from her ears slightly so she could fully hear and understand what was being said, but still not enough to hopefully not have sound blasting her eardrums.

Things went from bad to worse with the entire situation rather quickly all things considering. Mary was remaining somewhat calm, even with everyone yelling like that. Nancy amplifying the sounds around them wasn't helping, and her ears were more or less pounding from the sounds. She actually was able to see the arguments from both sides as to what all had happened, and in truth, that was what she had been trying to hear and figure out before most of the people started exploding and yelling with regards to everything. Part of her really wanted to snap at everyone for yelling and to tell them all to shut up with regards to everything.

"Okay, how about everyone calms down alright? Look, this situation is messed up, and I agree, whoever is behind this is after dividing us and causing conflict alright? And Cassian, I don't think it's fair to fully ask for them to tell us literally everything. Each individual person has secrets or things they want to hide and not share, seriously I doubt you'd share every little thing with everyone, you shouldn't be sitting there asking for everything like that. The big important things like what just happened then yes, I agree. She shouldn't have had to tell you that she was a werewolf for you to understand that some secrets need to be kept..." she said calmly, before turning to look at Nancy and taking a deep breath again, "I'm sorry for all of the yelling... Emotions are running high, and people could have ended up dead, I know you all have other things that you have to do, I mean you two are the leaders for the Romans, so obviously you had other things to handle... This entire situation and lack of communication could have been handled differently, but I can see how things ended up playing out the way they did." she was staying relatively calm as she spoke, more or less trying to either calm the situation, or at least not make it worse.

Jack wasn't sure initially what had ended up happening, considering it wasn't until after the illusion broke that he saw what was going on. Polaris was there, looking like crap, and the guy who had messed with them (at least who he guess had messed with them) was now dead, he guessed it was because of her. The whole situation was weird, and the downside of not having really gotten to know Polaris or anything like that, was he had no idea how she typically acted. Though she probably wasn't doing the best because of her injuries right?

Miranda hadn't said anything or any other reason why she had been worried about Polaris to Magneto. Knowing she was pregnant had caused her to worry more about her being trapped under the rubble, but because of her promise to Lorna about not telling anyone, she hadn't mentioned it. Seeing her injuries, she knew that it likely wasn't looking good in general, and hearing her words and how she spoke wasn't helping her to not worry about her. Even though Lorna (or any of Magneto's other children really) weren't hers, she worried about them like they were her own. And seeing Lorna pull the shard out of her stomach, she instantly knew what happened.

"Uh yeah, fine," he said simply to Kris with a bit of a shrug, before turning to pay attention to what was going on with Polaris, and after a moment, it did dawn on him what likely was the reason for what had been said, or what had happened to Polaris. This was not a good situation, just in general. What had happened with her was not something that could probably easily be mentioned, and now there was a million other things they likely had to worry about, but he wasn't too sure if Polaris was going to even mentally be there to help.

Walking over to Polaris, Miranda gave her a sad smile, "It'll be alright Lorna..." Miranda said softly to her, remaining fairly quiet about it. Out of everyone that was currently there, she was the only one who had known about the child, and also likely was one of the few people who actually would sit there and listen as someone vented about just about anything. She typically just stayed there and listened to what was talked about. Right now, she figured that Lorna wouldn't be in the best mindset, but Miranda also wanted her to know that she was there if she needed her.

Zari figured that she needed to focus on the fighting that was going on, and not so much on the fact that if she screwed up or revealed too much to Maria about the future then she'd end up changing what things were like in her own time. It didn't help that she was in a time period before she was born, or that one of her mother's friends (and wife to her best friend) and she didn't want to accidentally reveal too much. Mainly, she was definitely going to try and hide who she was even more than before. Most of their group by now sort of knew that she was half-Asgardian at the least, and a few knew that she was from the future, but Maria was someone she interacted with fairly regularly in her own time. So this was a completely different scenario.

She wasn't so much focused on the others and what they were doing as she was focused more on the ghosts. Namely the one that decided to pull her shirt over her head. Now she was more than a bit annoyed and mad, and she instantly fixed her shirt so it wasn't on her head anymore. Her thoughts on trying to hide things from Maria went completely out the window, as she yelled rather angrily in her native tongue, "Slipp meg i helvete og gå tilbake til der du kom fra!" she snapped, before reciting the rites to get rid of some of the ghosts. She managed to take out 11 this way, but ended up being a bit tired from it, and her nose was bleeding a bit, but in all honesty she didn't very much care. Zari currently was just majorly pissed off at the ghosts.

Flynn rolled his eyes a little bit at the conversation around him, considering what people were saying. Raynor supposedly was from this reality, so why did he seem to know not too much about their given situation? Or who they might be able to get to help him? "Seriously? Sure, it's been a while but you have to have some idea of potential ways out of here right? Since they can't possibly be prepared for every given scenario, and you know more what to expect from this place than we do," he ended up commenting to Raynor, before he glanced over at the door opening.

The new person seemed to be more of a straight forward person as opposed to someone to dance around a subject. She just introduced her more or less title and last name, and straight to the point of threatening them. Oh this was definitely going to be fun wasn't it? "Based on how things have been since we got here Maria, going to bet that we probably don't get lawyers," he said to her, before looking at Agent Rambeau, "Shouldn't you say that then ask a question first, since that likely would determine if it would be the easy way or the hard way, just saying."

Sparky was seriously confused about the whole memory thing, "Yeah, I still don't get what you're going on about, I just have my standard memories, not anything new or replaced or anything like that..." she said, not too sure what else to think with regards to that. Since apparently Amelia was effected too, "If it was the drugs I likely would have been effected too, so why am I perfectly fine?" Sparky added, looking at Amelia, before her attention turned towards the door that had someone enter the room.

Okay, this was not the sort of person that she expected to enter the room to "interrogate" them or whatever the idea was. This girl seemed like she had no idea what it was she was supposed to be doing. Honestly that was a bit comforting with regards to who they ended up stuck in a room with. "Umm... I have a question if you don't mind, aside from where everyone else is or something... Where exactly are we if you don't me asking... I figure a prison or something like that, but just wondering... And the other being why did you all seem to want to arrest us for kind of existing, since I'm just confused on everything..."

"Annie, not sure how well that would work," Mary replied calmly over the mental phone call, "Guin is the only actual telepath we have, not to mention the fact that his mind is likely protected in some way, or easily could be protected, since based on what all is happening, I'm betting he has the power of an infinity stone with him, so we need to be careful because he could easily bend reality to move things to be in his favor."

Of course, when she looked at all that was going on around her, and what Runa had also said about her mother with regards to the flowers and the field, Mary gave a bit of an apologetic look, "Sooo, sorry about the field and all, based on what you said about your mom, I'll fix it all after this if that's any consolation."

"I mean I guess maybe it kind of is similar? After all, Jumanji sort of messed with reality in a way too..." Pietro commented with regards to what Ed had said.

"Not too sure about that... Loki created that game, the physical version of it anyway that was real and seemed to work and do everything that the movie portrayed for it... Yeah it kind of messed with reality, but Loki kind of can do stuff like that or whatever anyway? Plus those were real animals, not some massive Godzilla monsters attacking us..."

"Because why not Runa?" Forseti responded simply to her with a bit of a smile, "Why do you always stand by them? They just seem so pathetic." Guin's attempts at a telepathic attack would hit a wall in Forseti's mind, and she was having difficulties trying to get past it. It was more than a bit obvious that Forseti wasn't going to back down from this fight, and Runa would somewhat manage to tie him up a bit with the darkness, but it wasn't quite enough to stop him completely from doing anything, but it was enough to cause him a few issues. "Runa, why are you trying to stop me?"

The Kaijus were not exactly being the nicest of creatures. One was kept relatively occupied by Lance, and it was having difficulties breaking free from the vines, and one was being stopped from attacking by Ed's shield and all.

Thing is, there were still two left.

One let out a loud roar, before it swung it's tail at the group, and it managed to knock back Annie, Guin and Bethany a few hundred feet away from the chaos. They would hit the ground hard, and would get several painful bruises from the landing, but they actually lucked out a little bit with the how much it hurt, but it was still fairly painful in general. They also all ended up with a few scrapes that were bleeding too.

The other one swung it's tail and managed to hit the rest of the group (Ed, Mary and Pietro, oddly going around Runa entirely) and threw them off into the other direction from where the other three had gone, and they also slammed into the ground with a thud. They'd end up getting the same sort of bruises as the other three, so that was nice at least for the moment. Mary more or less was just trying to keeping holding down the one kaiju so that it wouldn't break free easily and cause more issues, and holding it down while Lance more or less pounded away at it. It kept one out of the fighting, and worked well for the issues and all.

"Okay, this is getting annoying, and this is going to end horribly if we don't deal with Forseti, he can probably summon more of these things. Or something even worse. But it definitely does not help that we try something and get thrown around like ragdolls..." Mary commented, as she managed to stand up off of the ground.

"Well hooray for you, I personally don't really care. You better be careful though, never know when someone will stab you in the back for whatever reason. Who knows, anything can happen," she responded with a bit of a shrug, still continuing on with trying really hard to ignore the conversations that the others were having. Kind of hard to ignore all of them, and more or less to ignore the group in general. Then again, being with everyone else here was not a lot of fun, she personally just would prefer to run off somewhere else.

Then again, if she ran off here, she likely would end up dead, and sure, she didn't care much for the people she was currently by, but she wasn't an idiot (unlike some people) she knew when it was best to not do something. No matter how much you might want to do it. "Now see you say that, but whenever I trusted someone usually it ended up with me getting a knife in the back, and sometimes that was almost literally and not just figuratively. So sorry for preferring to be by myself when everyone else I've ever almost trusted has more or less betrayed me, abandoned me, or tried kicking me to the curb."

Jack actually was a little hurt with what Meg was saying with regards to him helping her out. Sure, he knew that he was still a bit new at the whole being an active fighter thing, but he wasn't entirely useless and knew a few things despite what she apparently seemed to think with regards to him. "...You know I'm not useless in a fight right?" he asked her so only really she could hear him, though it would be obvious to her that what she had said had somewhat hurt him. Yeah, they were in a world where magic and all and swords were the best sort of weapons to really have at this point, but he still could be helpful in a fight.

His attention turned to Hansel when he said that he and Gretel would hold off the pirates while the rest of them escaped, he looked at Meg and was somewhat glad when she didn't argue against the point or anything and headed down to the boat. Jack fell silent again as he just followed after her and the others, climbing down to where the boat was that they were supposed to make their escape on. The question now was how good people were with steering a boat or whatever? Since if they didn't really have too many sailors or fishermen or whatever, then this could be a bit of a problem.

Klara hated everything about this misadventure. She was still pissed off at the idiots for likely nearly getting them killed, and now she was just mad about the whole thing with Loki. How did this make for an interesting thing for him? Of course, everyone else decided to just go race up to the machine and start playing it, without taking a moment to survey the entire situation. Now though, she did feel a bit bad for making Runa cry, and she walked over to her and more or less whispered to her so only she could hear, "Sorry about that Runa... I didn't mean to make you upset... I was mainly referring to Astrid, and in a slight way Dalisy, not you... I'm sorry if I upset you..."

Her attention turned towards the machine, since unlike the others, she was more content with thinking this whole thing through. Examining the machine and it's contents without using it, yet anyway. She was currently trying to see anyway to make things go faster, before she eventually spotted it. A strange button looking thing that was a bit out of place, and she went to one of the sets of controls, and took control, as she moved it around and pushed the button, and somehow with all of that she managed to get 41 people out by herself. "Sometimes there are perks to stopping and thinking things through you know instead of rushing right in..."

Entering the city streets

"Oh wow she went down rather quickly didn't she?" Thalia commented, though she was more then prepared to keep on fighting the other two. There wasn't exactly a shield or anything anymore separating the groups, and thankfully they seemed to at least outnumber the others, so that was something right? Of course she knew next to nothing about what their power sets aside from the obvious sort of thing. Namely the fact that Abyss attacked people with bandage tendrils or whatever and Reaper just seemed to really be happy with his scythe.

Well, that was all they could do right? Just a sharp pointy object and some makeshift whips or whatever, no problem.

At least that had been what she had hoped anyway. Reaper ended up attacking her, swinging at her with his scythe, which now that she noticed it seemed to have something humming around it that was a bit odd. He managed to slash her across the back, as she twisted to try and block using her wings, and she felt her movements suddenly jolt and slow, as apparently he had some sort of paralysis ability which was why she was majorly slowing down and her movements were more stilted. "Okay, now that just sucks, seriously?" she commented, trying to figure out a way to maybe burn through whatever he had done a lot more quickly.

Meanwhile Abyss was back to striking at the group with the tendrils that he controlled charging towards both Jade and Ed. Luckily for Ed, he didn't end up grappled by him, unfortunately for Jade, she was more or less getting suffocated by the tendrils as they had a firm grip on her. Clearly they weren't too thrilled by what they had done to Fatale, and were definitely getting a lot more vicious in their attacks, at least partially.

Reaper whirled around and manage to gash Ed across the arm, and he'd start bleeding a bit from the injury, however that wasn't all. He'd feel something starting to slow his movements and making it hard to move in general. If Reaper ended up hitting him again, odds were that it would end with him being paralyzed from the effect entirely. Thalia took a deep breath and let out a breath of fire, managing to singe Reaper a bit from it. Currently she was debating about attempting something else to get the paralytic out of her system, but more or less had decided against it.

Abandoned Building

Shocker glanced around the area to see whether or not it would be worth it to continue fighting. He had several injuries from the explosion, and saw that they did too, but he also knew that he was still outnumbered and likely would fall fairly quickly. He said nothing, before he took off running in the direction that Feral had gone, leaving just the three of them outside of the building, with the other Brotherhood members who were still knocked out from the explosion.

"Okay, well, that went a bit better than expected honestly. Then again, they kind of knocked themselves out with regards to everything. Seriously, well, we might want to see about catching up with the others, see if they found anyone..." Mary commented with a bit of a shrug, looking at the building in front of them.

"I mean, hopefully nothing horrible happened or whatever while we nearly got blown up or something," Pietro added, but he tilted his head to the side, noticing something that was starting to occur, or at least noticed something off. "Uhhhh... Anyone else think that building looks really unstable? Or is it just me?" he ended up asking Cass and Mary.

Paying more attention now, Mary's eyes grew wide as rubble started falling from the building, and it started collapsing. The ground began to shake as vines instantly shot upwards around the building, and she more or less was holding it up, kind of anyway. "Ok, they need to get out now, since otherwise that thing will be coming down and I don't know how long I can keep it standing."

Meanwhile inside of the building, the mutants who had been hiding out finally seemed to trust Guin at least somewhat, more or less enough to follow her out of the room considering the fact that Sabretooth seemed to be going crazy and clawing at his own neck. Carolina though would feel her hold on Sabretooth slipping, before after a moment, she was ejected from his body entirely and thrown back into her own.

Lance had more or less just been keeping an eye on everything, before he noticed that Sabretooth started growling, and instantly knew that he likely was in control again. Which was not a good thing considering the fact that the three of them didn't really have much in the way of combative powers. His were the closest that they had, and he didn't use them for fights, he used them for defense and the art of healing people and the art of not dying. Sure, they could be fairly offensive, but he didn't tend to use them that way at all.

He instantly threw up a shield of light near where he and Carolina were, one which Sabretooth instantly started pounding on (since he was clearly not thrilled at Carolina taking control of his body), and because of the force of his attacks, the shield was already starting to crack from the hits. This was bad, this was really bad. However he started hearing the sound of something cracking, as a large piece of rubble from the roof came down onto the shield, and it shattered entirely, and Lance fell backwards onto the ground, coughing a bit from that whole thing.

Now he wasn't too sure what to do, as there wasn't a whole lot now between where they were, and where Sabretooth was. Deciding to at least attempt something useful, he managed to make a bit of a spear of light and threw it at Sabretooth, which managed to hit him in the shoulder and do some damage though so yay for that, but it wasn't a whole lot. More rubble started coming down from the ceiling much more quickly, and something would be painfully obvious to all three of them at this point. This building was coming down, and it was coming down now.

"Alright, just wantin to make sure," Jason said with a shrug, before he moved back over to check on his sister, who seemed to be doing alright. She managed to more or less knock Jace out, even though he had been more then prepared to maybe killing the guy over hurting her. That was a weird situation to end up in, and honestly he wasn't even entirely sure what had just happened, and it sounded like the others were a bit confused with regards to it too, at least of those who had come over.

Janelle still wasn't entirely sure what had happened, and so she wasn't too sure how to respond to people asking what exactly had happened. Though when Bryan asked if she was okay, Janelle just simply nodded her head, not really saying much of anything with regards to it. Not to mention Kiera's injury sounded to be a lot worse than her own, since people seemed to be mentioning a broken limb or something. "I'm fine... Just a bet surprised..." she commented softly in the end, not too sure what else to really say.

"Are you sure dat you're alright Janey?" he asked his sister, not too sure what else to really say with regards to it. He was concerned about her, and he knew that she sometimes tended to push off her own well being for someone else if they were injured or something too. His attention turned towards Kristin when she asked what had happened, and now he was sort of trying to think of the best way to answer her question, all things considering that he was still a bit confused as to what had just happened.

"I'm fine Jason, 'ahnestly," she said, waving her hand in the direction of his voice. "I'm naht sure what 'appened, one minute de three o' us were talkin, de next minute I was knahcked over and I'm naht too sure, dere was sahme fightin and I managed to put 'im to sleep..." she kind of explained, not fully sure how to explain the situation. She didn't know what had fully happened, all she knew was that Jace had seemingly attacked them at random, with no real reason behind the attack.

Mary more or less just listened to what was being said as Chiron ended up walking over to the group and the whole conversation that was playing out with regards to the attacks and all. Bringing it up to the rest of the camp seemed like the best idea to her, and she currently was kind of keeping an eye on Zeke, since as much as he annoyed her, she also knew that if she was in his place she really would not be probably in the best headspace. As everyone more or less started wandering away back to the fire, and oh boy was she somewhat glad she decided to stick around the area and all, considering the conversation between Chiron and one of the Romans.

She never thought in her life she'd ever actually truly agree with Zeke on something, but seriously? The Romans had decided to keep this all to themselves and bring it up now when the camp had done a lot for them? "Okay, going to be blunt, probably a better way about going about this then shouting Zeke, but honestly I agree with you on this one. What the hell were you all thinking? Oh, we care only about ourselves and decided that we're going to bring this up when it's convenient for us and doesn't get in the way of us protecting ourselves even though we're guests somewhere else. Seriously, when were you planning on bringing that sort of thing up? Because keeping that to yourselves when it happened, as it sounds like a while ago, seriously. If you had warned us we might have been better prepared for that sort of thing, and that resulted in more problems for us, you have to remember, you aren't the only ones here," Mary said. She wasn't really trying to sound rude, and she wasn't entirely yelling, she was just wondering what the hell were the Romans honestly thinking and more or less stating the facts as far as she knew them currently.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you very much... I'm not exactly much of an actual fighter, I typically do more on the defensive side of things whenever possible, just sort of ended up needing to somewhat, thank you again," she said to Elixir with a bit of a smile. This wasn't exactly the sort of situation that she really stuck around for. Truthfully whenever possible, she tried to stay out of any sort of combat, in her experiences she was better at creating diversions, as opposed to creating attacks. At least when she first had her powers and began using them that was more or less what they were used for.

Jack was thankful for a few different things in the moment currently. One being that no one over here who wasn't an attacker was dead, two, that Magneto had snapped out of it, and three, the fact that Magneto wasn't seemingly super pissed off at him for punching him in the face! That last one was the thing he was most grateful for, especially considering the fact the he had punched him knowing full well that that sort of thing could happen. So that was at least something for the moment anyway so hooray!

Of course, Veil seemingly decided to disappear randomly for some strange reason, however the world around him suddenly decided to catch on fire. Somehow? Nothing seemed to decide to actually lead to this, just, suddenly, everything decided to catch on fire. Despite the fact that something was really weird about how this started, no matter how he could rationalize it as being impossible, it still seemed very real. Meaning that odds were, it probably was, somehow. Nothing was making sense, and his brain was just sort of trying to process what was going on around him.

Feeling the ground shake, Miranda turned to glance towards the remains of the building, considering the fact that Lorna was down there somewhere. She couldn't help but be rather hopeful that Lorna was alright and not injured despite being trapped under the rubble (despite what Magneto seemed to be convinced of, she was still worried). So when the rubble burst upwards and there was a glimpse of green hair for whoever was coming out of it, she let out a bit of a sigh or relief, figuring that it likely was Lorna.

Zari froze when she heard a familiar voice, and anyone close to her would practically be able to see the color drain from her face, as she whirled around for a moment and saw Maria there. She almost said something, but instantly clamped her mouth shut, figuring it likely would be best if she didn't say anything. After all, if she said the wrong thing, she might change the timeline or mess with something, then what would she be left with? Hell, saying the wrong thing to someone who she knew most of her life and yet didn't actually know her right now could result in major repercussions for the timeline, something she really wanted to prevent since that would make things really complicated for her later.

Of course, she was a bit sidetracked from that line of thought, by the fact that a ghost was trying to steal her sword. "Hey that's my sword not yours! I hate that you can even mess with it!" she snapped, before she yanked really hard and managed to get her sword free. Of course, she instantly started trying to get rid of the ghosts, the words in Ancient Norse just rolling off her tongue effortlessly as with another poof a ghost disappeared. Turning her attention to another ghost, she accidentally stumbled, but managed to make the ghost disappear, mostly anyway. Problem was now the poor ghost was just a pair of legs wandering around. "Oops, sorry!" she said, apologizing to the ghost for the fact that currently it was just a pair of legs.
