32nd YPG Unit

Tara chuckled at his comment, nodding in agreement. "Of course." She said with a smile. "Stay safe." She said, looking to him. It was almost obvious that she had a crush on the American, Marcus could see it in her eyes as he grabbed his rifle and headed for the Humvee. She watched as it drove away, and as it did, she got up and looked for Daran.

*BOOOM!*

The explosion was nearly deafening when it occurred. It startled all of the members of the 32nd when it happened. Some of the YPG members were shouting tactical commands, and many of them were grabbing AKs and taking cover, under the impression that the Islamic State has already launched a counterattack without them noticing. Daran simply ran ahead, patting a stunned Tara on the shoulder. Once the smoke and dust has cleared, and that there was no gunfire afterwards, it would occur to the 32nd that it was an IED. Immediately, Daran, Tara and a few others ran towards the Humvee, watching their step as they came to help and search for survivors, Daran and Tara being the first ones there.

"Marcus!" Tara cried out desperately, trying to search the area. Daran, on the other hand, remained silent and still.

At Marcus' comment on having earned a night without worrying about the Islamic State, Tara nodded. "I wish that was true, heval." Marcus would've learned over time that heval meant "friend" in Kurdish. "But Daesh are dogs. They attack when you rest." She pointed out before taking a sip of some vodka herself. "Holidays? Ah, I can't celebrate too much either, but we celebrate like we did just now." She said, pointing to the soldiers that are cleaning up right now. "Not enough time to celebrate Newroz either." She said with a soft chuckle. "Too busy killing Daesh pigs and freeing the land's people."

Soon enough, a Humvee would drive through the village and stop nearby. A few soldiers of the US Spec Ops variety, as well as two French Spec Ops operators, would pile out from the vehicle and look around. One of them spotted Marcus, and looked to him. "Yo, Williams, Command says that we're Oscar Mike to Navpoint Charlie. The SDF has recently secured a nearby village south of us, and we need to head down there to make sure everything's in good working order." The SEAL said.

Tara looked to him and looked back to Marcus. "Time to go? Well I hope to see you later." She said with a soft smile.

After everyone boarded the helicopter, Lisa looked to Armando. "Mind flying back this time? I'll take over at the next stop." Lisa offered.

Armando looked back and nodded. "Sure thing, hermana." He said, patting her on the shoulder. "C'mon... lets head on home." He said.

The two soon climbed onboard the helicopter and closed the door behind them. While Armando climbed up to the front seat of the helicopter, Lisa looked to everyone in the passenger's cabin and addressed them. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking." Captain Kinesis said with a soft grin. "Since our safehouse is located in Colombia, this is gonna be one hell of a ride, and we'll be making a few stops to refuel along the way. So get some shuteye. We can get some snacks and food along the way too, so yeah. Trust me, the journey will be worth it." She said. "So... buckle in your seatbelts! We're taking off!"

After Lisa climbed up to the co-pilot's seat, the helicopter powered up and began to lift off. Within minutes, the helicopter was already airborne, and with the exception of a few blinking lights, the Sikorsky flew out into the night, disappearing into the pitch black void of midnight. They were off to Colombia, and this is where the adventure begins.

The roleplay on the old thread has officially closed! Please discuss all OOC matters in this thread and this thread only! This thread is now open to those who have been mentioned in this post!

A few things before we begin, however.

Before you post IC, I need you to READ EVERYTHING IN THE OOC ABOVE AND THE NEW AND UPDATED CHARACTERS ON THIS THREAD. I can't stress this enough. Everything has gone through an extensive update and an overhaul that everything has changed and that you need to read it to get the new context of this thread and the RP as a whole. The rules have changed, the OOC context has changed, and I even added quite a few new details, such as the Sanctuary, some Challenges and other OOC information. I need you to read that first before you do anything.

And... since many of you haven't posted since after I warned you about the closure of the last thread, I will make one last call before you are kicked out of the RP until the next mission. If you are still interested in this RP, I need you to post your characters into the CHAR tab, otherwise, let me know that you're no longer going to be active in this RP, and I'll remove you from the FC list.

Thank you all so much for your patience with this RP. I love you all so much, and I hope to get this thing started really soon! I have so much fun stuff in mind for all of us, so please bear with me, and we can get through this!
