Cyprian Udina
Headmaster?? - Metahuman (debatable) Male, Lawful Good
Detect EnergyCyprian's very origins remain relatively unknown, but what is known about him is that he was born and raised somewhat in Warshaw-Pact Poland, and was one of the many experiments that was grown during the Metahuman Cold War. While he was raised under a normal family and such during and after the Cold War, he learned about his powers ever since he was a toddler, and used them to his advantage to learn people and the world around him. His parents were teachers, and were very instrumental in raising him. However, the state tried to take Cyprian away into one of their programs, and before they could, Cyprian was sent to a contact who was part of the Powerbound Alliance. The contact offered to send Cyprian in exhange for his parent's safety, to which Cyprian happily agreed to do. Since then, he was sent to Costa Rica, where he was raised under the wings of the Powerbound Alliance for most of his adult life.
After learning, working and becoming more powerful within the Powerbound Alliance in Costa Rica, as well as travelling abroad with other students, he figured that the Powerbound Alliance could use a separate school of its own to teach and safeguard its students. He pitched the idea to the Powerbound Alliance Administration, and they revealed that they had plans to do the same, but they had trouble finding people who would run it as they are focusing on expanding their operations to Kurdistan. Cyprian volunteered to teach at the proposed academy, but was denied, but instead offered the title of headmaster. He gladly accepted, and after the Powerbound Academy was built, he became the headmaster there and ran the show, following the administration's guidelines. Since then, Cyprian has learned from and taught to thousands of students throughout the years he's been headmaster there, and has grown to become a very wise man. Despite not being able to lose his silly accent and his speech problems, many look up to him to be one of the greatest scholars in the Powerbound Alliance.
It wasn't until recently that Cyprian was offered a position within the Powerbound Alliance Administration. However, Cyprian turned down the offer, citing that he his duty was with the children, and his duty was with his staff that served under him. As a result, the administration gave him all of the rights, privileges and clearances of a administration member, without giving him the title. At this point, the Powerbound Academy had expanded, and Cyrian appointed Farida as his vice-headmistress to help him out. To this day, he serves as the headmaster of the Powerbound Academy, and he still does all he could for his students and staff.
His powers, which is to Detect Energy, allows him to feel, see, hear and otherwise sense different kind of energies in the world around him. As a result, he could see and feel various threats around him, whether they be gas leaks, weak energy in certain structures or dangerous weather patterns. He could also tell what people are feeling, as well as their intentions, from their energy levels and where the energy is concentrated within their body. While he cannot read minds, he could tell whether or not someone was hostile, or sad, or happy. As a result of this, he's used this to his advantage to talk people down and help his students through tough times.

Deputy Headmistress45 - Metahuman Female, Neutral Good
Manipulate EnergyFarida was born and raised within a test tube in a lab in the deserts of Kazakhstan during the dusk of the Metahuman Cold War, when Kazakhstan was still part of the Soviet Union. For most of her life as a child, she was a test subject, one of many who shared the same powers as she, but one of few that survived the chemical trials that ensued during her lifetime in the lab. However, when she was a preteen, the Soviet Union collapsed, and the lab was shut down, and in the process of such, she used the powers she was trained and practiced with to escape from the lab. While she was filled with Soviet propaganda when she was a child, she grew out of it after she escaped, having been raised by a Kazakh couple in a village she encountered during her escape.
When she lived with her new parents, the couple gave the test subject a name, that name being Farida Ayanov. Her new parents couldn't have children of their own, and felt that Farida was a blessing. After teaching her various manners, as well as their language, culture and customs, it wasn't long before they discovered her powers when she tried to help them out on various chores when she was an early teen. They inferred that Farida was a Soviet experiment, considering that there was a small military outpost that was shut down shortly after she came to their home. As a result, they did their best to protect her, and while they loved her powers and found them immensely helpful, they tried to protect her from the others who weren't as tolerant as they were. For most of her life, Farida lived a sheltered life, being home schooled by her parents.
When Farida was in her twenties, she decided that she wanted to see the world that she learned so much about from her parents, and while her parents warned her about the dangers of the outside world, Farida cited her powers, saying she could handle herself. Since then, she traveled around the local area, and within months, she learned about the Powerbound Alliance, and joined as soon as she could. After learning the English Language, as well as training her powers and completing her education there, she was offered a position to work with the newly-formed Special Tasks Coalition in Kurdistan. However, she turned it down, as she would rather not use her powers for violence (her parents taught her peaceful values). Instead, she simply worked for the organization itself, job-hopping within the organization at Costa Rica before she was appointed by Cyprian Udina to be his vice-headmistress. Knowing full well of her past, as well as the good that the Powerbound Academy was doing, she joined with the mission to make sure kids didn't suffer at the hands of experiments like she did. Since then, she's been pretty handy in helping out the Powerbound Academy, and while she is more strict and more headstrong than that of Cyprian, she's only that way for the best of intentions, as she doesn't want to see the kids she teaches come out to be mistreated, or worse, become thralls of nefarious groups or governments. To this day, she still acts as vice headmistress, and does what she can to help
and discipline children. She also still keeps in contact with her parents, and helps them out when she can.
Farida is an incredibly powerful energy manipulator. Her power allows her to manipulate the energy in the world around her, whether it would be converting it to different types, generating it from the world around her or disposing it into the world around her. As a result, she could put people to sleep in an instant, cause fiery explosions, create lightning, give people boosts, nullify people's powers, amplify poeple's powers, and a number of other things. However, she rarely uses this power, as this sometimes takes the energy out of herself, and she doesn't want to frighten the children with it.

Physical Education / Abilities Instructor27 - Metahuman Female, Neutral Good
PsychokinesisConstance was born and raised under two loving parents in New York City, New York. Her parents ran a grocery store and a greenhouse in New York, and Constance was raised under normal circumstances. Her life as a child was relatively normal, and her powers didn't exactly show up until she was in grade school, where a gust of pure force knocked a few bullies up against the lockers from across the room. Having ran away from the scene, she told her parents immediately about what happened. Once her parents learned about the event, they wondered whether or not that their daughter was a metahuman. Either way, they kept the situation all hush-hush, and tried to find out if she really was a metahuman by testing her with some toys and such. After some practice and thought, Constance augmented her powers and was able to make a toy plane float, and after some practice, she made it fly in the air as if were a real fighter jet. Her parents allowed her to practice her powers in her backyard, but they wanted to keep it all a secret. Having grown up during the Cold War, they were well aware of how metahumans were used for pointless wars.
It wasn't until later in her life that Constance wanted to put her powers to good use, and once she turned 18, she joined the New York National Guard. There, she kept her powers a secret, trying not to use them within the sight of her comrades in arms. It wasn't long before a metahuman fight broke out in New York City, and her unit was assigned to help with the evacuation and rescue process. She saw firsthand as a metahuman pummeled another across the street, causing damage around them, nearly injuring the civilians she was trying to evacuate. Once the fight ended, the hero (she doubts) stood victorious over his weakened foe. She looked to the victor, looking into his eyes. She raised her rifle at him, as she wanted to arrest him for causing so much damage to the neighborhood and nearly killing the innocent civilians she tried to protect. Before she could, however, she was ordered to stand from from her commander, and watched as the hero got off scot free. She resigned from the National Guard shortly afterwards.
She returned home to her parents, telling them about what happened at the other side of town. The same day, they had learned about the Powerbound Alliance, citing that she would fit right in there. She considered it, and after a week of thought, she joined them. After going through their training program, examinations and working with them for a while, she joined the Special Tasks Coalition and went through a six-month training program. The training was grueling and demanding, as it pushed her to her very human limits, and trained her powers to become even better than they were before. She came out a very capable warrior, and was almost immediately deployed to do work in Sudan. She worked with a small STC team there, and worked with them to help protect the Sudanese people from death-squad militias and the oppressive regime. She served there for six months until her and her team withdrew, having been replaced by local faction more capable. She resigned from the STC, having felt disillusioned by the role in of itself. It wasn't long before Cyprian learned about her, and within notime, she was handpicked by Headmaster Cyprian Udina to teach Physical Education at the Powerbound Academy. While it wasn't necessarily her dream job, she felt infinitely more useful teaching there, and since then she's been the PE Teacher and Abilities Teacher at the Academy.
Constance's psychokinetic abilities are somewhat straightforward, they are not much different from telekinesis. She can move objects with her mind, including herself, allowing her to jump higher, fly, as well as lift objects, people and other things with her mind. She can also form weak invisible barriers with her mind as well, but they can be broken. This comes with the limitation that doing this too long would strain her mind, as well as her body. She's used this in both combat and rescue plenty of times before, and won't be afraid to do it plenty of times again.
FC: Murray GraySajaa Faraj
History Instructor40 - Metahuman Female, Lawful Good
PostcognitionSajaa was born and raised in San Fransisco, under two Lebanese immigrants who moved to America to start a business of their own. The business ended up somewhat successful, and Sajaa grew up living a normal life. Sajaa went to school, and as she grew up, she became fascinated with history, and loved learning about it at every chance she got. However, she was bullied in school for being a history nerd, with students often calling her "History Hijabi" as a pejorative. While it did upset Sajaa a bit, she's grown to like that name after a while, and move on from it. Later in her childhood, she became such a history geek that she went to contests all around California, losing some and eventually winning many, earning her scholarships.
Sajaa went to high school, and when reading over some documents regarding German resistance movements in World War II, she came across the
Machtgebunden Allianz, and tried to learn more about them. This came to the point where she had an unnatural obsession with researching them, to the point where it impacted her grades in school. Most of her research has led her nowhere, most of her sources only giving insight to the Metahuman Cold War and its events. She nearly gave up until she read an article regarding the topple of Saddam Hussein's regime, and read that there were accounts from Iraqi and Kurdish rebels that there were metahumans that were involved in his fall. Thinking that to be a potential lead, she did all of the research she could, and used the scholarship money she got to board a plane to Kurdistan.
When she arrived, she didn't have much trouble getting around, as some of the population spoke Arabic (it was passed down to her from her parents, but the arabic-speaking population quickly found out about her origins considering that she spoke in an American accent). Her search led her straight to a Powerbound Alliance outpost, where she was quickly able to speak to a representative, one who was a part of the Administration. Needless to say, she was quite geeked out. After exchanging lots of words (as well as lots of excitement from Sajaa herself), she learned a whole lot more about the vast history of the Powerbound Alliance. The member of the administration, who went by the name of Mr. Allen, saw great potential in Sajaa, considering that her ability to research got her this far, and with her being able to speak Arabic and English fluently, they figured that she would be of great help to the Powerbound Alliance. As soon as he offered her a position among their ranks, she gladly volunteered on the spot.
Since then, Sajaa has been working on various positions within the Powerbound Alliance's Kurdistan branch, much to both the surprise and dismay of her parents. She worked as a secretary, and then a librarian, and then a translator, but when she travelled with a few of her coworkers, she stumbled across a can. She was going to pick it up and ask her friends about the stuff they drank there, but as she did, she saw the past of that can. Where it was manufactured, what it was filled up with, where it was shipped, who put it in the vending machine, who drank it and who threw it on the ground. Sajaa immediately dropped the can, freaking out for a moment. She explained to her friends what had happened, and they told her to do it again. After several failures of trying to replicate what happened, she eventually did, and shortly thereafter, found out that she had the powers of postcognition. She was quite excited about this, and quickly learned out to tap into this newfound ability.
Shortly after her newfound ability, she met Hakam, another member of the Powerbound Alliance. When shaking his hand, she learned about his entire past within one moment. Almost immediately, she felt quite sorry for him, and nearly cried, to which Hakam was confused, and tried to calm her down. She revealed her power to him, and immediately Hakam knew why. After talking together for a while, and seeing each other, she eventually fell in love with him. She continued to work within the Powerbound Alliance, doing whatever they see fit for her, as she continued to see Hakam. It wasn't long before they got married in Erbil, and it wasn't long before they had a child as well, a child that she named Jamal. She had trouble raising him at first, but she eventually got the hang of it, even after discovering his new abilities. Years have passed, and while Sajaa worked as one of the head researchers, she worked mainly at home, researching for the Administration as part of intelligence gathering operations, while raising Jamal. It wasn't until Hakam joined the STC that things got a little bumpy, and while he did show up as much as he could, he participated in long tours that would often make Sajaa worry.
Hakam soon saw the effect it had on her, and eventually he requested to be put in a position where he could spend more time with his wife and child, while still being able to work. All three of them were soon located in Costa Rica, where all three of them lived a stable, peaceful life. Sajaa worked as a history teacher, and she liked the job, and loved working with children as well. When Jamal reached an age where he could attend high school, he was offered the opportunity to teach at the Powerbound Academy. Sajaa immediately had the idea to teach there as well, in order to keep an eye on her son (she was somewhat overprotective), and soon enough, all the whole family was transferred there. She worked there as a history teacher and continues to do so to this day, and other than the Head of Science and the Headmaster himself, she's considered the third or fourth most eccentric staff member in the Academy. She holds that title with honor, as she loves to learn new things with her students. Nothing much has really changed in the years that she works there, other than the fact that she's responsible for bringing in half of the library's current book catalogue.
Sajaa's ability of Postcognition, or Retrocognition, allows her to see the past of whatever object she touches within a quick flash. She sees it all in a very fast glimpse, and while it would be a sensory overload for just about anyone else, only her mind could interpret it and break it all up into a montage of sorts, a montage she experiences herself through the object she touches. However, the history only goes back to when the object was first formed, such as when an aluminum can was first assembled, or when the tree became a seed from another, older tree. As a result, she's been able to see as far back as thousands of years, and to this day, she uses this ability to help better understand the past of Metahumans.
FC: Mariam SobhAlaya Nash
Language Instructor38 - Metahuman Female, Neutral Good
Omni-linguismAlaya Nash was born in Austin, Texas under two parents who had no powers of their own. Nash grew up in a Hispanic neighborhood and had mainly Hispanic friends, and while her parents never spoke a lick of Spanish, she grew up understanding it clear as day. When she came to her parents speaking Spanish, thinking that they could speak it too, they were astounded that she picked up another language already. While telling her not everyone could speak Spanish, Alaya found out that not everyone could do what she did, and decided to use this gift to her advantage. Her parents tried to find out who taught her that language and how she was able to pick it up so fast. None of her friends said they taught her, and none her friend's parents taught her either (but were incredibly grateful that she was able to speak in their mother tongue). Her ability to learn languages also allowed her to excel in other classes as well.
By the time Alaya was in high school, she had already learned so many languages and dialects, she was able to become friends with lots of foreign exchange students. However, she was often bullied and ridiculed by English-only students (who were often racist whites as well), and she felt as if she was put apart from them, alienated from the majority of the world. However, her abilities always found her friends who weren't so great with English, and she often used her abilities to help teach foreign students English as well. After she graduated high school, her talents caught the eyes of the Powerbound Alliance, and she was recruited as part of a "grant program" to help her learn so many more languages. She moved from Austin to Costa Rica, where she fit in pretty nicely. It turns out that she was among many others who shared her powers, and there were lots of them in the southern United States alone. It turned out that she was joining a fleet of language instructors and translators to help the Powerbound Alliance bridge gaps between peoples and nations, and to help the Powerbound Alliance operate in other parts of the world, whether it would be to assist governments and people, or to recruit other talented individuals. She was in awe from how many other people shared her talents, and the powers that various members of the Powerbound Alliance had. She was happy to join, and she applied herself when learning.
After a one-year training program, Alaya was able to speak almost every well-known language almost fluently. For most of her earlier years in the Powerbound Alliance, she was teaching Latin American Powerbound Alliance members English and other languages, and after getting a good feel of the Powerbound Alliance and what they were all about, she became loyal to their cause, and was willing to accept riskier jobs, such as acting as a translator for various diplomats that operated all around the world. Her translation talents were unparalleled, and as a result of her work, she was able to learn so much more about the world around her, and how the Powerbound Alliance (and eventually the Special Tasks Coalition and Heroes Without Capes subdivisions) worked. After working four years as a language teacher, and six more as a translator, her experience and her language had advanced her incredibly far within the ranks of the Powerbound Alliance. As a result, she was offered the position as one of the Powerbound Alliance Administration's Envoy, and Alaya accepted the offer, on the ground that she was trained properly. After six months of envoy training, she was able to work as the Powerbound Alliance Administration's envoy, meeting up with world leaders, corporation CEOs, military generals, project directors and all kinds of folks all around the world. As a result of her efforts, she was able to close beneficial deals, send help to people under distress, solidify alliances and bring peace between warring peoples.
Her work, and her talent set her apart in the Powerbound Alliance, and while she still felt quite different from the rest, it actually felt good this time. As a result, she was offered the position to join the ranks of the Administration, and actually have a say in how the Powerbound Alliance works and what they do. Considering her experience, knowledge and incredible talent, they figured she'd make a very good board member. After lots of consideration, she declined the offer, feeling that she wouldn't be able to handle so much responsibility. She missed the days in which she taught children, and wanted to go back to it, to teach generations of children her experiences and help open doors for them. The Administration respected her decision, and while they were somewhat upset that such a talented and good woman couldn't join their ranks, they were quite happy that she still wanted to use her talents to do lots of good. As a result, they offered her a teaching position at the Powerbound Academy, telling her that she is free to return to them for anything she needed. When she arrived at the Powerbound Academy in Northern Oregon, she was amazed by the scale, scope and ambition of it.
Headmaster Cyprian Udina was more than happy to accept her transfer, having heard about Alaya's envoy work. Alaya fit right in, and was able to befriend a whole lot of the staff, especially Manuelo, who didn't speak too much English. She was able to help teach English to a variety of foreign staff members, and teach other languages to students as well when she started working there. Since then, she's been a Language Teacher, teaching Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese and Japanese to any student who was willing to apply themselves. She also taught English to foreign students as well, and as a result she was able to destroy language barriers from within the academy. To this day, she still teaches various languages at school, and happily does so.
Alaya's power allows her to absorb any written and spoken language she encounters, as her mind processes it into the information that the words and sentences mean, equating it to other languages she already knows, learning words for various concepts. This allows to learn languages as they are spoken and read, and while it takes her a little to process all of it, and it takes her some time to learn how to speak it (accents and speech patterns, etc), she's able to learn and speak entire languages within months, and sometimes weeks. However, she isn't able to use this ability to decode various encoded messages, and it would take her much longer to learn more obscure languages. However, as a result of her talents, various foreign Powerbound members speak English, and various English-speaking Powerbound members now speak languages like Spanish, Arabic, Kurdish and Russian.

Head of Science and Research?? - Metahuman Male, Chaotic Insane
Super Insane GeniusDr. Chaos' origins are quite unknown, as no one was able to learn about his origins. Everyone that knew him personally reveals to disclose it, and when he's asked about it, he never discloses it, but answers the question with some off-topic science-related information. People have come up with many theories about him, saying that he was a scientist that discovered immortality long ago, or he was originally a nazi scientist, or he is actually a man who was abducted by aliens and subsequently gained their knowledge. Whatever it may be, no one knows who he truly is, and why he is like this. The only thing that people do know is that he was pulled out from
somewhere and the Powerbound Alliance funds and helps him with all of his research and experiments in exchange for his allegiance (which he would happily give anyway, as he has stated to be really fond of the folks in the Powerbound Alliance and STC, as both specimens and individuals).
Dr. Chaos is a mad scientist who's as crazy as you can get. While he isn't outright dangerously psychotic (he's far from the murderous type, in fact, his madness revolves around
healing and
upgrading people rather than harming them), his craziness can lead to quite a few experiments that might violate a few regulations here and there. Dr. Chaos is responsible for many of the power-enhancing therapies that helped many within the Powerbound Alliance tap deeper into their powers. He's also responsible for lots of the helpful tech that the Special Tasks Coalition uses to help with their missions, and he's also responsible for a whole lot of research and intelligence methods that helps the Powerbound Alliance Administration find and recruit new members, as well as help them with their own intelligence gathering operations. Overall, this guy has used his insane abilities of science to help benefit lots of people.
However, his insane genius comes at the cost of his own insanity, and often times he would create some meaningless experiments that make absolutely no sense at first but would pay off in the long run. He will run the most strangest of experiments, and once he explains their applications, some people would find out how infinitely useful the experiments would prove depending on their tests. His experiments so far have wielded two things that are ready to be field tested, which is
Thunderchicken (a chicken with the lightning powers of Zeus) and the
Tactical Disarming Banana (a banana capable of disabling weapons). His science has also been used to prank various people in a variety of creative fashions.
Basically, this guy could be asked for just about anything. However, be really careful around him, as he knows everything... he's gone insane as a result!
His powers of Insane Genius allows him to learn everything fast, and his memory analyze and memorize an infinite amount of information. As a result, he could put all of this information together and create new solutions for just about any problem. However, the result of his hyperactive brain of gods, he lost his sanity and common sense... and does some really stupid crazy shit. Don't worry about him hurting other humans, however, the only thing that keeps him from going
totally insane is his mission statement as a scientist, which is to help and heal, and not to kill or destroy.

Head of Security32 - Human Male, Lawful Good
Powerless - ArmedArmando was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. He was born well into the influence of the Powerbound Alliance, and grew up with their influence in his schools, as well as the nation's politics. While his parents didn't work for the Powerbound Alliance directly, his parent's success could be attributed to them, as they were farmers that had lots of food readily available as a result of higher crop yields from plant-powered metahumans. His parents, as well as his friends looked up to the metahumans and the Powerbound Alliance, and while Armando had a few metahuman friends that went to school with him, his metahuman friends wanted to be on equal terms, and Armando eventually learned to treat them as equals rather than idols. Over time, Armando grew up living a peaceful life, and after graduating from college, he became a police officer, and became very well known by humans and metahumans alike, and was often called upon by his metahuman childhood friends to help them solve crimes around the country.
After serving as a police officer for quite some time in Costa Rica, he wanted to join the Powerbound Alliance. However, given his background, as well as his situation, the Powerbound Alliance Administration insisted that he would actually do a better job as a police officer, as he had great rapport amongst fellow officers and metahumans who worked with him. However, when Headmaster Cyprian Udina requested security for his academy (as the staff themselves weren't enough for the large amount of students that attended), Armando jumped at the call. There, he worked as a security guard and worked closely with the many metahuman scholars that helped teach at the school. After being helpful to many of the students and teachers throughout the years, the Powerbound Academy became home to Armando, and he knew the place like the back of his hand. As a result of this, Cyprian promoted Armando to Head of Security and assigned Hakam, Tatiana (non-powered agents from the Special Tasks Coalition) and the newly built PASA under his command. Since then, he's been running the show when it came to the security of the students, staff and property within the Academy, and has also been somewhat helpful to the maintenance department as well.
While Armando is powerless, he is armed with a few weapons that help give him an edge. When patrolling or keeping an eye on the Academy, Armando is armed with an
FN SPR sniper rifle, one that he loads with various rounds to help him with various situations. Most of the time, Armando is armed with a
Glock 19 pistol, one similar to that he was issued when he worked as a cop in Costa Rica. He carries it around with him on a gunbelt, a gunbelt that also has a flashlight, radio, collapsible baton and a Power Nullifier.
FC: Micheal PenaManuelo Castellanos
Head of Maintenance39 - Metahuman Male, Lawful Neutral
Super Strength, Light InvincibilityManuelo was born and raised in rural Colombia, where he was raised by two farmers. He lived a relatively peaceful life in a small community, going to school and helping out his parents when he could. He discovered his superstrength powers when he was a teenager while farming, and while his parents believed he was destined for greatness and his powers were a gift from God, he didn't really want to subscribe to the idea, but he wanted to help whoever, whenever he can. However, when he was in his late teen years, his parents fell under an illness and passed away (and due to his metahuman abilities, he was able to survive the illness), passing the farm to him. He was grief stricken, but the community that he helped for most of his life was there for him the most, and helped get him back on his feet. From then on, for most of his life, he's been the community farmer and the community helper, and many residents appreciated his help.
However, he discovered his invincibility when he stepped on a landmine laid by FARC militants years ago. Those mines have been a plague for the people of Colombia for years, killing many and wounding more. However, he wasn't killed or wounded by the mine, he was simply thrown back from it. From this discovery, he ended up becoming the his town's defender, defending his town from FARC attacks using creative methods to beat the shit out of them. After FARC was expelled from his community, he returned to farming. People even tried to make him the town Mayor, but he turned down the offer, citing that he has no political experience, and is just trying to help when he could. However, when Cesaro Zepeta, a metahuman with the power of fear-inducing vocal persuasion, took power in his country, he knew that things weren't gonna be as simple as fending off a small group of thugs. When the Loyalists were evacuating through his town, he assisted them in the evacuation, and when the Fascists arrived, he faced them himself, allowing time for the Loyalists and the civilians to escape. After he's non-lethally defeated an entire group of Fascist Colombian Soldiers on his own (and nearly exhausted himself), he stole one of their vehicles and followed the Loyalists north. Ever since then, the Loyalists heralded him as a hero, and with the corroboration of everyone he's helped in his life, the Loyalists gave him his own platoon in his honor, a platoon of both Colombian Loyalists and International Freedom Fighters. Since then, he's commanded them and led the charge with them with little to no casualties, and has almost always emerged victorious.
Not too long after Cesaro took power, the Powerbound Alliance and the Special Tasks Coalition stepped in. After a year of a three-way war between the democratic Loyalists (and the STC), the totalitarian Fascists, and the communist cartel thugs known as FARC, the Fascists fell, and the Loyalists retook their capital, bringing peace back to the majority of the country. The Powerbound Alliance helped the Colombians out the best they could, and to this day, the Special Tasks Coalition and Heroes Without Capes have a detachment stationed in Colombia, helping the Colombian people and eliminating the fascists and FARC from the country. After the war was largely over, Manuelo grew weary and tired of the fighting, but still felt as if he and his community owed a whole lot to the Powerbound Alliance in their victory against the fascists. The Powerbound Alliance soon recruited him, and after lots of testing, learning and job-hopping, Manuelo was placed at the Powerbound Academy in the United States. While he was considered an illegal immigrant there, and still is, nobody cared. He spoke decent English, he was incredibly helpful and he kept up the building while also living a comfortable life with a few new friends in the Security and Maintenance departments of the Academy. After working there for a few years, he was named Head of Maintenance by Cyprian due to his hard work and dedication (as well as good rapport amongst other security and maintenance workers). He's also good friends with Tatiana, as Tatiana worked with him when he toppled Zepeta's regime in Colombia, and they share that history together. To this day, he still works as Head of Maintenance.
Manuelo's powers are somewhat straightforward. His super strength allows him to lift up things as large and heavy as trains, and his light invincibility allows him to be invincible from bombs, various projectiles and various powers. However, his super strength has limits, as he cannot lift up entire buildings, or lift up anything large (as he would have difficulty maintaining balance). His invincibility is limited too, and while he can be invulnerable to any amount of natural and man-made things, cosmic entities and gods can still easily defeat him, and can still kill him. Still, he's a good man with a good heart, and while he does care about people and his friends, he doesn't care too much to fight for the greater good.
