@Half Pint, @Bounce, after some careful thought, I'd like to age Clark up a couple of years. I'm having a lot of trouble writing him as a believable 19 year old and so I'd like to instead age him, and subsequently his supporting cast up. In doing so I'd need to rewrite some portions of my IC posts and a small portion of the sheet. It shouldn't have any far reaching consequences outside of framing my story slightly different with the characters being young professionals instead of university freshmen.

Wanted to run it by you guys first though before making changes. Did you need me to resubmit anything or am I good to adjust as I see fit?

Have at it, but you might consider as well taking the approach they did with aging up Jon Kent and use space travel / time dilation as a means of doing a time skip IC.

Yes, no other time Superman has gone off in space have they done this, but Bendis gonna Bendis.

Right? I definitely get a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vibe from the older heroes.

I see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and I just imagine a superhero team led by Alfred Pennyworth.

And I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda here for it.
The Hall of Justice is just a senior living home for vigilantes.
The Teen Titans are the League or Avengers of this universe.

Meanwhile, Cap and Batman are waiting in line for their AARP discount while grumbling about their lawns.
@Bounce quick question about the current event: How sentient are the Fire Trolls? Its just that Bailey is a character who has natural empathy for creatures who look like horrifying monsters, bur are just mind controlled servants of an actually malicious creature. Because if they are just mindless, dumb brutes just doing as they are told, he'll treat them differently to something that is actively relishing in the slaughter.

The source material goes both ways on this, with the Silver Age Fire Trolls being controlled puppets of Karaku, while New Earth and Prime Earth versions (Lava Lord and Black Boris respectively) were presented as more independent.

I think I'm going to go with them being more independent, though possessing variable degrees of intelligence or strength by individual. That aligns with Black Boris' lore and I think is the best spot to land with it.

Same for Bounce's Aqualad.

All Tom Curry is reading here is "free babysitting."

For some reason, finding a babysitter for a Friday night when you want to go drinking with the longshoreman bros is really freakin' hard when your Fortnite gremlin can benchpress the car.
Meanwhile, at Metropolis City Hall...

"Yes, I'm here to register."

"Superhero name?"

"BOOSTER GOLD!"

"I'm sorry, sir. This is for vigilante registration. Registration for the cosplay convention is at the convention center down on Main."

Thank, though I didn't mind competing with a GM. I'd love for you to join the team when it's formed if you're up for it.

In my experience, there's no scenario where a GM wins a competition that someone looking at the thread doesn't come away with the perception that the judging was rigged to begin with.

Not saying that my sheet would have won, just that I don't like how it looks to the casual observer (that we hope applies).
@Half Pint I'm withdrawing my sheet.

I like that launching a player-based organization is a goal. That's a broader view than I had for my concept. And I had mentioned to Half the other day that I don't like the optics of a player competing with a GM.

Plus it allows me to channel the time to working on the character summaries and the database that's been tossed around.
But it's like post too quickly and no one else feels like they're getting a turn, post too slowly and you're suddenly having to account for every interaction your character should have reacted to at once and it paradoxically slows time down to a crawl.
