Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

I'm not. Was just seeing if anyone else was going to come watch Khaz kick the crap out of the clearly insane man.
Fun facts about Khaz and his friends:

1: Helhiem doesn't actually have a real herd animal; Some of the tribes practice farming and grow edible crops but the main stable of the tribes is a boar like creature that is covered in razor sharp spikes and fur. These things are huge.

2: All imperial loyal tribes of beastmen on Helhiem are made up completely of goat like abhumans; Any child born with the mutation of a different animal (Or born to mutated to be considered acceptable) will be quickly and quietly given the blessings of the God Emperor and killed as quickly and painlessly as possible. Both are seen as signs of the Dark Gods trying to corrupt and steal a pious soul from the Emperor (As proven via the make up of the Chaos tribes on the planet) and thus the tribes kill the unfortunate child after blessing them in an attempt to send their soul to the God Emperor while it is still hopefully pure before the Dark Gods can properly sink their foul taint into them.

3: Helhiem doesn't have alcohol. Between the plants not really being up to the task and their own primitive/tribal nature, none of the tribes (Either loyalist or Chaos) have figured out how to brew alcohol. In fact, when they were provided with alcohol rations the Warband came to the collective conclusion that it was just a foul smelling liquid to start fires with.
"Hear me horned half-breeds, do any of you stand to fight against me, a man of numbers and words? Or are you truly such fearful cattle as I wish you are. If not, I will see the best of you approach me in five minutes!"

For a moment, Khaz blinked in confusion as he lowered the leg of cooked... pink thing with teeth that he had been eating as he turned his head in the direction of the shout. He was not the only one either; Just about every member of the Warband had stopped what they were in order to look towards the sound of the strange sounding challenge before turning to look at each other in confusion. "What are 'cattle?'" One of the few remaining healers asked, looking at her peers for answers that none of them knew.

With a small shrug to signify that he had no idea Khaz got up and started to walk towards where the challenge was made, a couple of the warband following suit more out of curiosity then anything else. As he came into view with his green blood stained armor, the metal jaw on a shoulder as a shoulder guard and a large sword strapped to his side, Khaz tore off the last of the surprisingly tasty alien meat off the bone and threw it to the side to be either be cleaned up or forgotten about later on. Chewing his food as he looked at the human who he was guessing issued the challenge in the first place (And looking like a thoughtful goat while doing so), Khaz waited until he swallowed before he said anything.

Talking with humans was doable, if somewhat harder then normal; They were hard to understand with their weird accents and everything. "So... 'Orks' not enough for you." Khaz stated lazily... through there seemed to be a small look of respect in his gaze as he did so. "Emperor likes those willing to fight. Speaks highly of you. Not time for fighting through; Time for feasting, celebrating personal valor and praising the glorious dead that have taken their place in the Emperors grand war-tent. "

After all, they were all the servants of the Emperor. No point letting bad blood get started when there were still plenty of true enemies that need killing.

<Snipped quote by Dannyrulx>

It reminds him of puffed-up Lord-Generals in starched white uniforms and thirteen rows of shiny medals that slick their hair back with oils and spray themselves silly with flowery scents.

@NecroKnight

Sounds like a victim of 'Ork Snipers'. The rest of the platoon saw it.
@Feisty-Pants

I'm also Australian for the record... through other Australians think my accent is American... and Americans seem to think its some kind of British.
Gredy Silvertongue

Things weren't adding up; If the Phantump belonged to the trainer in front of him, he was fairly certain that she would have at least understood what a pokeball was... the fact that she also seemed to be deeply afraid of him for being a trainer was actually kind of worrying for completely different reasons. Could the ghost pokemon have been abused by a trainer in the past and now was deeply afraid of being near another one? It was hard to say.

The trainer Rua Zo surprised him somewhat with his willingness to actually head towards the police station; While it did add some weight to his story about being robbed by a pokemon a little, something about the whole situation seemed off and it put him on edge. Still, there wasn't much he could do besides lead the way... after picking up the dropped pokeball first of course.

"Why dont you have a partner yet?"

It was a good question and Gredy shrugged a little as he answered "My name's Gredy. As for why I don't have a partner yet... If you want me to be perfectly honest it's because I kind of want to earn my first pokemon via my own merit rather then just being given one to start with..." Reaching up to rub the back of his neck, he seemed almost... bashful about admitting that aloud. "It's just... I guess I wanted to have a partnership built off a foundation of mutual respect with my first pokemon from the get go, you know?"

"How did you meet your Noibat? I wasn't kidding earlier when I said that you've down an amazing job of taking care of her. " Gredy asked quickly, starting up a new conversation before glancing at the Noibat in question. "Did you pick out your outfit or did Rua? Because either way it looks absolutely fantastic on you."

While he was giving Rua and his Noibat most of his attention, he was glancing at the Phantump was well... hopefully having a normal conversation would help ease her fears and he could invite her into the conversation as well.

They are at the Munitorum HQ. Their section is just a little distance away from everyone else because lets face it, humans don't want to be around Abhumans.

@Andreyich

Truly you are a gentleman and a scholar sir.
@Andreyich

Khaz isn't going to walk over and bother humans; They are servants of the Emperor after all... even if they are strangely soft and easily broken. If you wanna start a fight, you're going to have to come over to him.
I'll get a post up after some sleep.
@Dannyrulx

I don't think Khaz would be welcome to come join the human party. He is a lot more abhuman then the cat people after all.
