I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

CHARACTER SHEET

~ Maximum of two characters at a time. If one dies, you may create another.

~ A character sheet can be rejected for any reason, including your behavior and grammar in other RPs.

~ I'm not one to set hard limits on what a character can be. But the following are going to be a tough sell:
.
-Characters under the age of 13.

-Characters with irredeemable qualities, like being murderers, pedophiles, rapists, sadistic, etc.

-Characters with the same talents as the ultimates in DR 1 & 2. (Having similar but different talents is fine)

-Characters that have any knowledge about the cause of the calamity, from how it started to how it was resolved.

-Characters that are or have ties with cannon DR characters. (This isn't a tough sell, it's a firm no.)

-Characters that aren't humans. (This probably won't work either.)

~If your characters are old enough, they can remember the calamity. While ultimate despair was a key player in it, there were lots of imitation terrorist groups that used ultimate despair as a cover for their actions.

~ You may alter the character sheet, but the order of information and how the information is indented should remain the same. Only a single space between paragraphs. Do not use the original Magenta color in the color tags, and do not color the body text. Other than that, you're free to dress it up how you like.

~ All character sheets must be posted in OOC. The exception to this is if you are submitting a character with a specialty roll (amnesiac, impostor, or traitor) in which case you can send me the whole thing via PM. They can be moved to the character tab only after I have approved them.

If you're going to do a character with a specialty roll PLEASE CHECK FOR AVAILABILITY FIRST! I'd hate for you to submit something I have to turn down because it's already in the RP. All specialty rolls are taken at this time.

𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲:
Character's Name

𝗔𝗴𝗲:
Character's Age

𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁:
The type of infinite they are as well as details about their talent

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲:
A picture is fine (preferably anime) or a written description. Be sure to note key features like accessories, hair style, scars, etc.

𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Why they were administered to the hospital. Keep in mind their affliction will be healed (in most cases) by the time the RP starts. They could also be staying at the hospital to be near a loved one/friend, so you can write that instead.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
How they generally act and the vibe they give off. Interests and pet peeves should be included in here.

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮:
Some details a quick internet search would reveal about them, like their job, accomplishments, where they live, etc.

Below is the basic format for a character sheet. Remember to change the text color to something other than "Magenta"

SECRET QUESTIONARE

In addition to submitting the character sheet in the OOC, you must fill out a character questionnaire and PM it to me when it is completed. This is required to get your character accepted.

Where's the last place this character fell asleep?
Your character woke up in an elevator, so they fell asleep in Axis Mundi somewhere, or were unconscious upon arrival. The characters are not getting memory wiped, so they don't remember "falling unconscious" for mysterious reasons.

Is there anything unusual about your character's body that a normal human won't possess?
This is important. The mastermind has no use for people with unique, artificial enhancements. Medical enhancements like pacemakers are fine.

Are you interested in making this character a killer or victim?
This is not a binding contract. I'm just curious if you're thinking about it, and if you have a preference for one roll or the other.

What is your character carrying?
Is your character carrying any personal items? Maybe a photo, a pack of cigarettes, or even...scissors? You character can remember having a cellphone on them, but anything that dangerous would have been confiscated by the mastermind.

Is your character GBLT?
Simply state your character's sexual identity if they aren't straight. Consider your character's background and try to be realistic.

Is your character a murderer, pedophile, rapist, or might take pleasure in that types of violence?
This is a tough sell, but I will allow such a character. If this is the route you want to take, you need to explain to me how you plan on portraying this aspect of the character and why it's important.

Does your character know much about the calamity?
This is a tough sell, but I will allow some characters to posses this knowledge. If this is the route you want to take, you need to explain to me why it's important. Then we can discuss the particulars.

If your character was a killer, what would be a good motive for them?
I'm not recruiting your character to become a killer, I'm just curious. You can learn a lot about a character by what drives them to kill!

If your character was feeling particularly passionate, what might they yell during a court trial when they spot a contradiction?
OBJECTION! YOU'VE GOT THAT WRONG! WERE YOU PAYING ATTENTION!?! YOU IDIOT! etc.

What is your character's secret?
Something they don't want others to know. Attempt to knock my socks off. (I'm usually barefoot.)

Story So Far

The best way to learn about the characters and plot is to read the RP. But if you don't have time to do that, you can look below for a quick description of the most important events. It leaves out a lot of character bonding and interesting events that aren't important to the story. So while I've left this here as a quick refresher for old players or a quick start guide for the new guys, you are encouraged to read the RP.

Prelude

Chapter one

Chapter two

Chapter three

Data Bullets

Dr. Monokuma Killgood

Monokuma was formerly used as a mascot by Ultimate Despair. While Ultimate despair was totally wiped out, the black and white bear has cropped up again as the self-appointed doctor of Axis Mundi. It is currently unknow who or what controls him.

The Carnage Sisters

Four weapon brandishing dolls on mechanical horses. Each one has a generic unique personality and is created in Junko's likeness. They serve as the "nurses" in Axis Mundi. Though they look a little different during the night of carnage.

Champion Carnage Sisters

Abilities unknown, appear to be carnage sisters from another one of the infinite killing games.

Hope's Peak Academy

The birth place of the search for the greatest talent. The school is no longer in operation.

Infinity Initiative

A global organisation that scouts for the greatest potential talent. They are known for their great hospitals, with Axis Mundi as their flag ship facility. Though something does appear to be amiss with them, as they bought up all of hope's peak's assets and moved them to Axis Mundi.

Ultimate Despair

The terror organisation that ended the world. Among their ranks were Sinner Hector Ecclesia, Neo Alexander, and Junko Enoshima just to name a few. To this day it is still unclear who headed this group.

The following is known about Neo Alexander:

Apparently Neo Alexander turned the U.S. Army against the country, largely with the help of its drone armed forces. The carnage sisters looked a lot like the army robots in the way their joints fit together. There was even a cavalry robot that rode on a horse very much like the horses the carnage sisters used. One particular intricacy about the All American Killing Game was that there was a “happy hour.” Contestants in the game would have to avoid being killed by robots for a full hour after midnight every day. There are few details about events that transpired during the killing game documented in the magazine. Only that Neo Alexander's game was beaten, and he actually signaled his robots to open fire on himself to avoid capture. Ultimate despair seemed like a deranged group, and it was a little unsettling that they could be in a like death game. But not nearly as unsettling as the idea that Infinity initiative could have had something like this planned from the start.

Monokuma said the following about Sinner Hector Ecclesia:

Dr. Kill good climbed onto his desk and started to pace back and forth. “One of the first killing games was the 'saints and sinners' killing game. This one was hosted by a mastermind who called himself Sinner Hector Ecclesia. A rather eccentric individual, but what he chose to wear isn't nearly as important was what he did. Ya see, he acquired this virus called “horseman” and unleashed it on Australia. Funny thing about it is that roughly half of the people in Australia were immune to it, while the other half descended into violent madness. Hector reasonably believed that those that were turned by the virus were saints, angered by the sinners of the world. That sin being hope of course. Did anyone see twenty eight days later? Picture that, only in Australia.” The bear sat down on the table, showing his feet to the camera. “Oh yea, Hector was a real champ. But he was ultimately brought down by a group of orphans that stormed his fortress. After being defeated, he fed himself to his own men. There was a vaccine there to prevent future infections, which was how he ensured he and his men hadn't been turned. But by that point Australia was in ruins. Still, it was a win for everyone. Hector cause a lot of carnage, and the orphans completed their conquest.”

The infinite vigilante Justiciar

Calvin was apprehended by a robot that didn't look like a carnage sister. Aparently it was actually someone dressed up as "The infinite vigilante Justiciar."

Neoslayer

Another title for Davis Gallo, mastermind of the infinite killing game and former Ultimate mastermind. His motive is still unclear, but he has expressed an interest in this group of infinite's continued progress in the killing game. He is called as such because Davis was credited with the fall of Neo Alexander. It was his plan that brought about the end of the all american killing game.

Alice parker

The name of Davis's long dead bride to be, which is shared with a "fifth carnage sister" that resides in the vault. She was killed during Neo Alexander's all american killing game.

Note to fans of Danganronpa: While this is a fan RP, there is little connecting this RP to the rest of the Danganronpa universe. There will likely be some lure linking the mastermind's motives to the other games, Monokuma, and everything that makes up a "class" trial from murder, to clue hunting, to judgement.

Note to newcommers: This is a fan RP. While it is not required to play the games to enjoy it, you will probably see some spoilers. If not from me, than from other players. If you plan on playing Danganronpa spoiler free, you may wish to avoid participating in the RP. Alternatively, you can watch some Let's Plays.

To everyone: I make mistakes, you make mistakes. I don't mind being notified, but let's keep our cool in here.

Alright, spoilers ahoy. Don't scroll past Monokuma struggling to hold a fish unless you're ready for it.

THE SETTING AND PLOT

The charm of most Danganronpa games is that the true nature of the setting is a mystery. We didn't really know DR1 was post-apocalyptic until the end of the game. In fact, you know very little about anything going into it. Try to keep that in mind when reading further: This is just the tip of a very large iceberg.

Your characters are patients with special talents. Maybe you needed a checkup, or maybe it was open heart surgery. Which is what makes waking up in an empty elevator so strange. When you leave the elevator, you meet some strange people, a killing game is announced, There's a plush toy and some fashionable dolls riding on horseback, what the hell is going on?

Characters

Like most Danganronpa games, the bulk of the cast is made up of original characters. Tower of Carnage has an all new mastermind and features a cast largely made up of player characters. Monokuma has made a return, and he is assisted by dolls known as "carnage sisters." While Junko will not appear directly in the RP, her name has come up in spots. Though she was not the only mastermind with a killing game during the tragedy. Neo Alexander, Sinner Hector Ecclesia, and many others contributed to the downfall of civilization...

Location

The entire role play takes place in Axis Mundi Infirmary in the heart of the USA. It's a legendary hospital owned by Infinity Initiative. (more on them later.) But to simply call it a hospital would not be doing it justice. Not only to they care for the physically and mentally ill, but they offer accommodations that can't be found even in the finest hotels. Everything from an indoor swimming pool to a soccer stadium can be found under the many floors of Axis Mundi. While some of the more ill patients aren't allowed to use these facilities, they do make it easier for loved ones to remain close to their healing counterparts. Axis Mundi also has on board medical researchers to forward the development of medical science. If it has anything to do with quality of life or medical science, it's bound to show up under Axis Mundi's roof.

Murder game

It wouldn't really be a Danganronpa RP without murder and mayhem. You'll have to investigate murders, partake in the "court of carnage", ironic tongue-in-cheek executions, all part of the experience!

In layman's terms: People will be forced to to kill each other if they ever want to escape. If the murder is discovered, they will be punished with death. If they aren't discovered, everyone BESIDES the murder is executed, and the murder gets to go free. More on that in the “RP FLOW” section.

Of course the patients murdering each other isn't the only danger. There are rules put in place that are VERY strictly enforced, and there may be other dangers...

Number of players

The mastermind wants to see murders happen, but they have made no promise to let the remaining patients go once any number of blackened (murderers) are discovered. The elevators occasionally come back with new faces. All of the people who come in were trying to escape near identical circumstances. Will you ever be let free?

This can be used to let new players into the RP, as well as give interested players in busy spots a momentary out if they find themselves busy with real life responsibilities.

Patients instead of classmates

This is a hospital, not a school. While hope's peak rather brazenly considered itself the ultimate hope, the ultimate talent, the people here believe talent is something that must be constantly nurtured and never stops improving. Rather than Ultimates, this hospital is designed to help Infinites constantly reach further. Your characters do not need to be teenagers, they need not be high schoolers. As long as they yearn to push themselves further, they are acceptable candidates for the Infinity Initiative's mission: The constant and never ending improvement of the human race.

Goodbye Hope's peak High/Goodbye Future Foundation

With the damage of the tragedy almost entirely reversed, The future foundation has more or less dissolved. People also felt that recreating Hope's Peak would be a huge mistake, as it more or less became the center stage for one of Ultimate despair's masterminds.

But that hasn't stopped everyone from looking for talent. The Infinity Initiative is a brand new organization that looks to find the greatest potential and help it mature well past its limits. It scouts for people of all ages all over the world to find those with "infinite talent." It's quite a boon to be scouted, as you get access to the best hospitals, as well as assistance with paying bills or anything that could impede your progress. Of course Infinity Initiative gets something out of the deal too. People pay quite a bit of money to get their label tied to an infinite, and the wealthy are willing to pay the high dollar to be treated by their future art hospitals.

RP FLOW

Essentially the RP will be broken up into several cases, and each case will be broken up into several parts, or "seasons." Each season will present different opportunities and goals to the characters.

They are as follows:

Daily Life

These segments are designed mostly to allow for character development and interaction with other characters. I will do my best to keep something going, but my main focus will be scheming designing the next case and figuring out who our victim and killer are going to be.

NoC

There will be a "night of carnage" event to keep things interesting during the build period.

Daily Life 2

Basically a second daily life segment that happens twards the end of the planning phase.

Towards the end of the daily life season, there will likely be a motive announced. That's everyone's cue to make themselves ready. It won't be long before a despair enduing tragedy happens.

Deadly life

A body has been discovered, and everyone has a limited amount of time to scrounge up as much evidence as they can. This will usually require splitting up and investigating multiple locations.

After you decide where you are going to search I will send you a PM. It will include all the evidence in the area. Then you just have to write a post discovering it all. Once all the evidence has been discovered, everyone will be required to go to the court of carnage.

Court of Carnage

This is the moment of truth, where everyone throws wild accusations assess the crime scene, the evidence, and tries to figure out whodunit. With any luck justice will be served, and they will be executed post-haste. Otherwise...

Oh, and there will be no firing of truth bullets at yellow and blue text, no eliminating white noise, no surfing through one's brain, no firing of bullets at soul shields, no minigames whatsoever. Just good ol' honest deductions. And all the arguing and shit posting the stupider characters can manage.

E-HANDBOOK

The patients of Axis Mundi have few things in their possession. Maybe a pipe they use to smoke, or a photo of their family. The most precious thing in their possession is the E-handbook, inspired by the version made by Hope's Peak academy. It's nearly indestructible, and allegedly can still function after being run over by a ten ton tank. Just don't enter a sauna with it...

While the E-handbook mostly contains basic information, it also has several auxiliary devices like a camera and recorder, which are both useful for collecting and sharing evidence for trials. There's no wi-fi, so good luck trying to update your facebook page.

There's also an OOC E-handbook, which contains information for easy reference. Note that the OOC E-handbook doesn't reflect what's in everyone's IC E-handbooks.

Truth Bullets

I'd like to remind everyone that there are no truth guns to fire truth bullets with, so you have to debate the old fashioned way.

However, a brief summery of key clues found during the investigation will appear at the top of the first OOC page. Truth bullets are notes and evidence that may be important to uncovering the murderer. Keep in mind that not all the answers will be in the truth bullets. They are just there to help you keep up with the intricacies of the crime.

There are also data bullets. While not intended to to help solve murderers, they do contain relevant bits of information that you might find yourself wanting to remember.

Rooms & Locations

A brief description of the more curious places in Axis Mundi. In the right situation, some of the stuff in here is more valuable than the truth bullets. Obviously reading people's posts is the most helpful, but something in here could jog your memory...

There's also information like who's staying in which room. Important if you have difficulty keeping track of everyone.

Hospital Regulation

A list of rules that all patients must never break. Otherwise they will be punished...

This will likely change as the RP progresses, but it will always reflect the current rules in place. Note that these aren't for the RP itself, but have been put in place by the mastermind and their goons. Unlike the rules for the RP, you, and maybe even the murderers, may try to work around these rules.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: Is there player death in this RP?

A:Yes, but it is entirely up to each player if they want to partake in it or not. I encourage and am grateful to people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the story. I'm all for someone volunteering to be a victim for a round if they wish. If they also want their character to leave the RP as a blackened, but I have enough of those to finish the RP at the moment. Just hit me with a PM and we can start discussing how you want to go out.

Q: Should I chose to be a victim or a murderer, do I get any say in my fate?

A: Murderers get to talk over specifics of the crime with me, such as motive and certain aspects of how they do it. They will also get the option to write their own execution if they wish. It will need to be approved by me first of course. Victims get to control aspects leading up to the death itself, and get to make a new character before the deadly life season starts instead of after. Both characters will also get a large boost to their development arc, as the case will be entirely about those two (three?) involved.

Q: How secret are the murders?

A:I'm pretty much going to be the only person who knows exactly what's going on. Obviously the victim, killer, and anyone else involved with the case will have a clearer view than most, but I may choose to add my own little switches in there.

Q: Can I discuss things like clues and who the murderer is in OOC? UPDATED 3/4/2017

A:The original idea was that it would all come out of your character's mouths in the IC. However, it might be a bit neater if what the characters were discussing was also discussed in ooc just to keep things tidy. I would like it to be possible to see all the logic unfold IC however. I would like to ask that people don't write inner monologs revealing themselves as the killer, or other such important details.

Q: How hard will the cases be to solve? What happens when we fail?

A:The goal is more to tell a story than create a forum version of the Danganronpa game. What made the games so interesting was that it was both a mystery game and a mystery book. You got to solve a case, but you also got surprised by big reveals presented by other characters. the lot of you will have to solve the mysteries, but I will give you a gentle push if you get stuck. In terms of difficulty, I've been told that the cases thus far were pretty tricky. I do not feel they are nearly as absurd as DR2's cases however.

Q: Are you SURE Junko won't be making an appearance?

A:Here's the thing. I love Junko from the games. So much so that how she is portrayed in the anime feels out of character to me. Being that there are a fair bit of fans for both the anime and the games, I do not think it would be fair to portray what I consider the superior version. And while I like her, I already have a mastermind for this story. I do toy with the idea of finding a way to bring her back, but I don't really think it would be a good idea. I could be convinced however...

Q: And the other characters?

A:Possibly, but unlikely. They would be ten years older than they were in DR 2 though.

Q: Can my character know about the events in the other games?

A:Junko didn't destroy the world, she convinced the world to destroy itself. There were hundreds of people completely unaffiliated with ultimate despair that kept the carnage rolling for their own reasons. It's unlikely that more than a select few know about the killing games, the true mastermind, or how the calamity really happened.

Q: Are there any expectations for post length?

A: During character building stages, I would like to see longer posts. Collaborating is encouraged if it's just dialog/ action between two characters. During the investigation phase, and especially the court of carnage, I'd like to put emphasis on shorter posts more frequently as inner monologues and the color of the walls doesn't move a debate forward. I think that will better suit the bullet dialog nature of the courtroom. I don't want to see one liners though.

Q: How about quality?

A: The writing level I'm aiming for is high casual. But I'll let anyone in so long as they have the basics down and can write believable dialog.

Q: Can I talk about Danganronpa V3 in the IC or OOC? Can I make references to its events?

A: IC wise, V3 doesn't really have anything to do with the RP. In OOC, Posting spoilers for the game is still off limits. Though it's okay to post memes of characters and what not.

RULES

~ All forms of metagaming, godmodding, and the like are prohibited.

~No spoilers about Danganronpa V3.

~ Keep OOC drama as low as possible. If you do have a problem, take it to PMs. I'll answer within 24 hours most of the time.

~ OOC is for announcements, discussing ideas with the entire RP cast, And shenanigans. I don't want anything that could spoil the experience leaked in the OOC. Don't discuss who you think the murder is, what you think the relevance of a clue is, or anything like that in the OOC unless it is also being discussed by the characters in the court of carnage. If you need to ask something technical in order to write a post, use the PM system.

~ Players who are murderers/victims should avoid writing anything that could spoil the surprise, IC, OOC, or otherwise. It shouldn't be 100% certain who the murderer is until the final clues come into place.

~ If it's been a week since your last IC post without any word from you, I may take control of your character(s), and they might not be there for you to take back after 2 weeks. Depends on how i'm feeling. Please notify me if you won't be able to post for an extended period of time, or lose interest in the RP. Common courtesy.

~ You may control a maximum of one characters at any one time. You will only be allowed to make a new character if you have no more characters. Adopted player characters do not count towards this limit.

~ As for IC: Cussing is fine in moderation. No sex please, not even fade to black. But you can be a pervert.

~ If you're going to use colored text anywhere, please use a bright color that doesn't blend in with the background.
@UnknownScarlet4 I figured you were still interested, haha!

@KatakonFantastic! Welcome aboard!

@Aewin I do, I do.

@Melo Then she gets another internet cookie. I think my pyramid scheme is working!

@FantasyChic Glad you're so exited, welcome aboard!

I think this is a decent amount of interest, and it hasn't even been 24 hours since the interest check went up! I'll open the OOC thread so that people can start making characters sometime soon, likely after I get back from work.

I'm still taking participants, so anyone who hasn't shown interest yet can leave a comment here if they want to be notified when the OOC comes up.

Your characters will be patients with special talents. Maybe you needed a checkup, or maybe it was open heart surgery. Which is what makes waking up in an empty elevator so strange. When you leave the elevator, you meet some strange people, a killing game is announced, talking plushy toys appear, what the hell is going on?

Characters

Like most Danganronpa games, the bulk of the cast will be made up of original characters. Tower of Carnage is going to have an all new mastermind and feature a cast largely made up of player characters. Monokuma will be making a return, though he will be assisted by four dolls known as the "carnage sisters." While Junko will not appear directly in the RP, her name will come up in spots. There will also likely be traditions like an impostor, an amnesiac, and a traitor among the pool of characters. Some of these rolls may be played by the same character... or even you!

Murder game

Like the games, our characters are being forced to participate in a murder game. It wouldn't really be a Danganronpa fan RP without murder and mayhem. You'll have to investigate murders, partake in "trials of carnage", ironic tongue-in-cheek executions, all part of the experience!

With the damage of the calamity almost entirely reversed, The future foundation has more or less dissolved. People also felt that recreating Hope's Peak would be a huge mistake, as it more or less became the center stage for the end of the world.

But that hasn't stopped everyone from looking for talent. The Infinity Initiative is a brand new organization that looks to find the greatest potential and help it mature well past it's limits. It scouts people of all ages all over the world to find those with "infinite talent." It's quite a boon to be scouted, as you get access to the best hospitals, as well as assistance with paying bills or anything that could impede your progress.

There will be very little intervention on my part as a GM, as I will likely be scheming designing the next case and figuring out who our victim and killer are going to be. This is a good time for new characters to join the RP.

However, a brief summery of key clues found during the investigation will appear under the truth bullet section of the OOC E-handbook. Truth bullets are notes and evidence that may be important to uncovering the murderer. Keep in mind that not all the answers will be in the truth bullets. They are just there to help you keep up with the intricacies of the crime.

Rooms & Locations

A brief description of the more curious places in Axis Mundi. In the right situation, some of the stuff in here is more valuable than the truth bullets. Obviously reading people's posts is the most helpful, but something in here could jog your memory...

Q: Will there be player death in this RP?

A:Yes, but it will be entirely up to each player if they want to partake in it or not. I plan on having a slew of murderers all ready to go, but i'm all for someone volunteering to be the blackened for a round if they wish. If they also want to leave the RP as a victim, that's fine too. Honestly, I encourage and am greatful to people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the story. Just hit me with a PM ASAP and we can start discussing how you want to go out.

Q: How secret are the murders going to be?

A:I'm pretty much going to be the only person who knows exactly what's going on. The victim will not know who's killing them, and there will be other clues and happenings that even the killer won't be aware of.

Q: Can I discuss things like clues and who the murderer is in OOC?

A:No, that should all come out of your character's mouths in the IC. I'd also like to ask that people don't write inner monologs revealing themselves as the killer, or other such important details.

In terms of difficulty, the mysteries will be much closer to DR1 than DR2. But if there's a huge call for harder cases, I can definitely up the ante. I'm a big mystery/logic fan that has quite a bit of experience.

By believable dialog, I mean they don't try to debate several points with one breath like people tend to do in internet debates.

Q: Can I talk about Danganronpa V3 in the IC or OOC? Can I make references to its events?

A: No. The game doesn't have a western release yet. Even after it is released, everyone will play it at their own pace. Be considerate and don't post spoilers. I don't even want to see you talk about V3 behind spoiler/hider tags. There are plenty of other hangouts where you can discuss the game. This RP will likely not mesh with the cannon of V3, or have anything to do with V3.

RULES

~ All forms of metagaming, godmodding, and the like are prohibited.

~No talk about Danganronpa V3.

Don't discuss who you think the murder is, what you think the relevance of a clue is, or anything like that in the OOC. clues should be discussed in their entirety in the IC by the characters.

Depends on how i'm feeling really. Please notify me if you won't be able to post for an extended period of time, or lose interest in the RP. Common courtesy.

~ You may control a maximum of two characters at any one time. Should one of your characters get killed off (or both!) You may make new ones and rejoin after they are confirmed.

~ As for IC: Cussing is fine in moderation. No sex please, not even fade to black. But you can be a pervert.

YOUR THOUGHTS?

Ultimately (infinitely) this is going to be something that the lot of you are going to participate in. So any concerns, suggestions, and shows of support are welcome.
It was an accident. She was detained because she looked too much like Lucy from Elfin Lied.

(I think I have a pretty boring avatar for these new avatar games. Sorry fam. D :)
Is it bad that I needed to use google to figure out exactly what I gave Obama?

And I think this is the worst Hitler has ever done, but I could be mistaken.
