I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music

Edited my Character sheet, just decided to add images for all my characters. I decided to use captain grace, the pirate girl @Ariamis posted, as a face claim for amber. I had a different character in mind, but I can't find the image. It was from some obscure card game.
I also just got done skimming the other RP, so I'm not totally lost.
@Card Captor well, that certainly makes him easy to implement into a combo. I haven't read through everyone's character sheet in closer detail, which is required reading for this idea. Haha.
Sweet. I'll start writing a post tommorow, but it probably won't be up until the weekend. I tend to write looooooong first posts.
@BrokenPromise if you could land a shot through the gravity wells, a gravity assisted magic cannon shot sounds like it would hurt.
I would think so. But it would take a few trial shots to understand how the gravity fields worked. Of course, if a gravity specialist was intentionally assisting the attack, that would be pretty impressive. I wonder what the most powerful joint attack in the RP would be. Like if everyone put their heads together, how could they all come together to amplify an attack?
When Junko walked back out of the clothes store she looked... different. More, masculine? Even though her outfit looked more or less the same, she didn't. this was clearly a man trying to imitate Junko's style. The only different style choice was that he chose to wear plaid pants instead of a skirt. But yes, he accessorized the same way and even painted his nails.
"Change of plans, boys." Junko(?) Said. "I couldn't find anything to wear, so I'm calling this adventure off. You can all go back to where you came from. I'll be sure to send you guys some money via western union. It was fun, toodles!" after giving everyone a wave, the man hoisted a bag justy large enough to hold an eighty pound fashionista over his shoulder. Before walking off, he stopped to look past the toppled over mannequins. "Oh cool, I'll get these guys chocolate coated. That's, like, a delicacy or something right?" Junko(?) bent over to pick up the ant's home, his hand cast a shadow over the small insects.
@skarsgard Ahh, that age old question: Can you overcome a gravity well with a cannon ball blasted out of a magical cannon? I think it has a lot more to do with how the gravity wells are placed and how easily the cannier can adjust trajectory for them. Sadly, I don't know enough about physics to properly answer the question. Real cannons can fire about a mile in normal gravity however. Honestly, I doubt Amber's going to be anywhere near a large scale fire fight without good reason. But you never know...
@skarsgard Well, like I said, I cheated. I let the character have the extra silver coin from accidental magical girl death and didn't take any penalties from smugging my way through the contract. so the 16 points to vitality I got through coins would be cut down to 10 if you did this fairly with smug. So that's 20 right there.
Then I got 1 from body type, 2 from base weapon (enhanced), 4 from dark weapon (Dark weapon gets its stats doubled, so the +1str +2vit becomes 2 and 4 respectively), 2 from odd ball, 1 from uniform. In addition to the enhanced weapon perk, I picked up 1 from blood magic, and 1 from enhanced sustenance. So that's 32.
...but then I realized you could become a monster girl without using the mint. So I picked up 2 more from amorphous body and 2 again from a second odd ball specialization. There were better perks and monster mutations to pick for vitality, but I didn't want an agility or magic penalty.
But again, you'd have to subtract 8 from the result if you were to do this fairly. so 32-36 becomes 24-28.
DAMN is this CYOA addictive to use though! I want to roll another character, but I have no desire to control that many characters at the start of the RP.
Heh. At the time I created Mariette in the earlier game, most people were balanced, with perhaps the exception of Penny. Sure, they had invested differently, but they all could handle themselves. That, plus my rolls, inspired me to make Mariette as she is. Besides, she has two liquid harpy bodyguards that make up for that, slightly. I like her like that, I can tell stories using her. Haha.
Oh yes. Last magical girl RP I joined as a pirate girl, and my dice rolls were suggesting I do the same thing again. Amber was originally going to have a spear gun, but her strength was so high that it made more sense to have a heavy weapon like a cannon. And with the water element, how could you not go for a pirate get up?
Like you, I'm all about telling stories. Hope we get to write together at some point.

I think the MG character sheet had a different scale for how Vit works, but 30 would be recognized as durable in story. Also, your character reminds me of another pirate-themed magical girl.
To be fair, I kind of cheated and "made my own luck" to get 32-36 vitality. I could have gone higher, but the goal was just to make something that represented the character. And see how broken I could make a character. I guess that was a pretty worth while point too.
Magical pirate girls aren't an entirely unique concept, but I've never heard of Captain Grace until now. She kawaii <3
People be min/maxing like it's going out of style.
Speaking of min/maxing, I decided to see what Veronica would look like if she was created on the magical girl character sheet, and she has over 30 vitality. If 10 lets you shrug off swords, and twenty lets you shrug off an auto cannon, I'm pretty sure 30 lets you shrug off a black hole, right?
Regardless, I don't think having a stat pumped to twenty is a huge advantage, anymore than taking a ship cannon into combat is. Make your characters however you damn please. I'm just here to write cool stories.
All of the commotion caused Junko to quickly close her mouth and look around. The water blew her cheeks up like a chipmunk's. Upon seeing the mannequins, the fashionista spit out her entire payload of water into the walking doll's face before wiping her mouth on her arm. Though it wasn't purely out of surprise, she was laughing too.
"Teleporting cats, missiles that don't kill, the embodiment of death, walking mannequins just don't surprise me at this point." She rested her bat on her shoulder. "Eh, I have yet to get attacked by anything yet. The fact that there are mannequins nearby means there must be a shopping center nearby." Junko jogged past the mannequins. "If you want to do some serious silent hill shit to me, you'll need to come on back here!" And with that, she vanished inside the clothes store.
