Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
Amber was getting yelled at from just about everyone on the ship. Which, while not quite justified, was understandable. Sue was quick to fly back into the earth bastion. “Amber!” She didn't bother continuing, knowing the captain would just cut her off with an irritated “I know, I know!”
“What? What?”
“Do I need to say it?”
It actually didn't take Amber long to regain control of the giant tank. When she let go of the handles, they immediately went to a neutral position. And due to the nature of how the tank moved, it stopped very quickly. “Oh!” Amber said with a smile. “So there's a lever for each tread. I can get use to this!” She jumped up onto the seat and dug her shoes into the backrest. “And as for you...” Amber looked at the small portal hovering next to her head and started to blow up her cheeks.
“NO amber! That's gross!”
With a groan, the pirate deflated her cheeks. “Maybe instead of acting all high and mighty, you could just make one already!” The pirate girl leaned forward on both sticks. Since amber had reduced the number of gears, the tank was moving slower, but had much more climbing power and was easier to control. “Put one in front of me, let's not drag this out.” The pirate squinted her eyes. “and who's singing like that? Is it Libby Bibby?
Regina had her sniper staff focused on Alicia, her trigger finger twitching as she followed her target with her scope. They were hidden with magic. (They hoped, stealth hasn't been their strong point this far.)
“Well Reggie?” Elroy said through his shit eating grin. “Are you going to take the shot? I don't think it would be the most logical choice, but I think it would be an interesting one!”
The monster girl lowered her weapon. Mildly irritated. “There are too many of them. Everyone we fought last time and then some. There could be more hiding in with the crowd, but there are too many minds to get a good reading.“
“Ah. That's a shame.”
“That's not to say we won't have our revenge.” Regina snarled.
“Revenge?” Elroy chuckled. “I thought we were done with all of that.”
“We were only done because we weren't employed.” Regina turned to look at Elroy. “Now that we're backed, we have an opportunity.”
“Oh?” Elroy folded his arms. “And why don't I know about this opportunity then?”
“Because you don't pay attention, and I'm the brains in this outfit.”
“Fair point.” They looked back towards Earth bastion to see what it would do.

After their initial meeting with Veronica, Regina must have gone back to join the Mint. Knowing the outcome of that little plot line was a little sad, but this was what fate wanted in the end. It was unfortunate that the Mint would soon become a laughing stock upon itself, one that no one wanted to associate with. Not that Tonya cared for them, but they were competition for the only other game in town.
Well whatever. When were they going to leave? She was getting nauseous!
It's been nearly 4 weeks since my last post. I think everyone has had plenty of time to write something. I will have a post up for amber tonight.
@PlatinumSkink I think that the best of both worlds would be to just go to the over city, but maybe a "safe" spot for everyone to arange themselves. I mean it's a giant tank that use to be a pirate ship, so there's plenty of room and time for people to arrange themselves while Amber drives towards their destination.
As for the pictures themselves, I can only speak for myself. Davis is an image of a character from tiger and bunny that I shooped to look more disheveled, and Neola was a Junko sprite edit that Aewin painted over.
Neola is able to capture the tone of anyone she chooses to become. The high energy of pop sensation Sayaka Maizono, The sexy allure of Junko Enoshima, and even the menacing aura of Togami Byakuya. She can replicate most people she sees near perfectly. However, Neola needs sufficient time to observe anyone she plans on impersonating, and it can take her weeks and months to get all the details just right.
Backstory:
They say watching TV builds character, but for Neola, watching TV made many characters.
In her youth, Neola preferred to watch things like the news instead of whatever sort of crap the normal kids liked to watch. While other kids were watching Saturday morning cartoons, Neola was studying the blade watching interviews, news stories, and things of a more informative nature. She got to know the celebrities she saw on TV, and fell in love with them. They all had such interesting stories, and she wanted to be like all of them.
Going into her teenage years, a lot of her friends wanted her to take up cosplaying. You know, so that she could stop being a celeb gossip queen and be more like an Otaku. And she really enjoyed it. Unfortunately for her friends, she came dressed up as Junko Enoshima. This was embarasing for everyone involved, as Neola hadn't fully grasped her talent yet. But she enjoyed it, she like the idea of actually becoming the celebrities she watched on TV. And so she honed her craft, eventually becoming good enough to make money while doing it.
It did not take the steering committee long to find her.
Other information:
-Neola can mimic any celebrity's voice and appearance, provided she's had the time to examine them. While she claims she can do male celebrities, but only likes to do the "cute" ones.
-It can be hard to tell when Neola is in and out of character, because she tends to speak like whoever she's impersonating. But Neola will never respond to her real name if she's truly in character.
-No one really knows what Neola really looks like. Even in her old yearbook photos, she looks like a celebrity.
-When asked how she is able to impersonate celebrities so well, Neola claims that it's because she can mimic them down to their thoughts.
-Neola likes being called by her nickname, "Neo." She thinks that small things are cute, and that goes with names too.
Davis's ability to grow facial hair makes him look older than he actually is. Davis also typically wears his shirt open, tie parted, so that the world can see his chest hair, which looks like a wilderness.
Backstory:
Davis's father and mother were successful people. The mother made it as a supermodel with her great looks, and his father was a very talented businessman. They gave the best to their only son, but expected the best in return. Remember, A is for average, B is for bad, C is for...
But Davis grew into a proud boy, smug and a braggart. He does not like to be challenged, and tends to explode with anger when his claims are brought into question, or any time he is displeased really. He never gets physical however, and his temper fizzles out rather quickly.
the Steering Committee at Hope’s Peak soon discovered “Conquest” in a corrupt cassino. Somehow an underage boy, white no less, managed to gain entry and was cleaning out every table he stood in front of. Regardless of how rigged the game was, he beat it with ease.
Hope's peak decided to add Davis's ability to snatch victory in any situation to their roster.
Other information:
-While Davis claims he can win anything he wants, there are times he declines a challenge because it's “too far beneath him.”
-While Davis is best known for beating casinos, he's also beaten black belt martial artists at tournaments and chiefs on their own cooking shows.
-Davis is not shy when it comes to talking about woman.

So with all the collabs going on, here's what I see things happening.
A-team will write a post, primarily dealing with drawing out Nariko. R-team will write a post afterwards, and we will see if Krista was successfully rescued. A-team will write another post afterwards, and we'll see if Nariko was vanquished.
All D-teams will write at least one post during the NoC, order is not important. Davis made it sound like you might have a few extra things to worry about.
Not sure what S-team is going to do. I'm pretty sure they are just going to have an uneventful stay on the sidelines. Yup, nothing special about S-team.
Oh, but regardless of which team collab you're on, do make sure to contact me when it's relevant for a carnage sister to appear. Which for D-teams should be fairly soon.
and it's "Announce You're Still Single and Annoy Everyone While Appearing Desperate" day*! So here's a Mommy Sue/Waifu Chisa that loves you!
*You are allowed to flaunt your relationship, but must make it apparent you're suffering because it's long distance, Melo!
