@LetMeDoStuff So then perhaps when you create the RP a list of the different guilds and factions should be present, as well as what roles the player characters are allowed to fill in said faction.

I personally think that the character sounds interesting and has cool powers... So where exactly is the RP going to be heading now? Mithias has been captured by Bedivere, who wants nothing to do with the rest of the characters, and everyone else is either awol or in a van.

Now I'm actually really pumped for this! Yeah, the RP sounds cool.

Does this mean the burning of Helgen is going to be a thing eventually or will the dragons return in some other way? And what about the guild leaders? Keeping those canon would mean that each guild plot arc kinda thing would remain the same. I'd personally like to see The Silver Hand be more of a threat and the Companions be less invincible with the exception of that lame off screen Skjor kill. And what of the Nightingales? Or being the Listener, etc etc? These are unique roles that only one person can be, so either they get removed entirely, we have an NPC already fill those roles, we agree in OOC who gets to be what, or we do a first come first serve type of deal. Organizing this will be challenging but fun, I think. Adapting a single player game in the vein that Skyrim is in into a multiplayer RP will likely be tough.

I'd be interested if I'm not expected to write up a single novel per post like some of these RPs. I can do a paragraph maybe two if there's enough going on but I refuse to do two paragraphs consisting of nothing but internal monologue coupled by another three paragraphs describing that fucking dew on the grass in the morning. (I don't mean to come off as abrasive but I know I often do, apologies.)

@shaitarn Okay let me respond to your points in order.
Pub: Not a problem, I'll just be re-re-re-editing my character sheets, unless there can be more than one pub?

Shapechanging: I sort of just left the whole "can shapechange into something larger than a dog" thing the way I did in the event that someone stronger attempts to pick a fight, but I have no problem with putting a limiter in place. Also, Godzilla and the likes aren't REAL animals, so Gideon couldn't shift into them :p

Fire ability: I put this in for the same reason I didn't put a limiter on the shapechanging ability. Gideon's entire character wouldn't make any sense if he wasn't able to defend himself when people got pissed. Hence, he would have no desire to cause trouble if people just beat the shit out of him every time he did something bad.

Killing Spree: Gideon only kills if he runs the risk of getting discovered. Besides, if he can shapechange into another human he can easily implicate that human because whatever murder weapon he would use would have THAT human's fingerprints. His abilities are specifically geared towards NOT endangering the supernatural community with his actions. Or else, again, he'd have no reason to act the way he did. Someone like Gideon doesn't cause trouble with the intent of getting caught.

@Tombprince It's a magic pub that deters most mortals from finding/entering it but he sounds like such a chill guy so I guess Gideon can make an exception.

I'm going to be posting a completely updated char sheet for Gideon along with the two other characters and a description of the pub soon.
