She was pretty sure she was supposed to be having a mental breakdown due to the aftereffects of a new ability that had to do with tearing a soul to shreds and then eating a piece, but… honestly, she felt fine (relatively). On top of that, she heard the familiar sound of… waves? The sun beat down on her but the breeze was cool against her skin. She could taste salt on her tongue. Was she seriously at a beach right now? Aya hadn't been to the beach since she left for college – Hawaii had spoiled her, and now no other beach could compare. This one came pretty close, though.
Straightening up, she found herself already in a black and green bikini. Choosing to question things later, Aya brushed the sand off her skin and began walking towards the water, looking around at the other people just starting to wake up. Some she recognized, others she didn't. She was fairly certain she was supposed to be terrified of a few of the people here, but oh well.
