Seishun Academy of Swords, a sword forging RP!

Caia Morningstriker definitely smelled the beer. And the pork. She wanted so badly to go over there and eat it, but she had to heat up the metals! She took the mithril in her hand and dumped it into the forge. She then dumped the gold into a separate section, the steel, and the bronze. The heat was unbearable, and she was sweating so much she thought she might burn alive. She wiped the sweat off with a handkerchief, and then looked toward the table of food. She had half a mind to resist the beer, but as her Papa said, 'the best sword is made when you're not sober!' And her Papa made some great swords. She lumbered over to the makeshift table, taking a seat. She hadn't introduced herself yet, so she said "I'm Caia. Caia Morningstriker to be exact." She grabbed a beer from the cooler, cut some bread and grabbed a bit of pork. "I'm 14. And I'm about to get wasted." she said. She guzzled down the pork and bread, and then glugged the beer. She drank a whole entire bottle in two seconds. She put it down, and smiled, her cheeks glowing red with drunkness. "I thinkk I'm gonna go make a sword now." she slurs, lumbering over to her forge.

Isolde Palewood

Isolde sat by the caravan, sitting on a strong tree branch. She was munching on an apple. Her legs were kicking about, swinging to and fro like a child on a swingset. She had her usual bored and cold look on that face of hers, yet still beautiful in her own way. Her appearance was not as polished as she would like it to be, as she was out in the woods 'roughing it' as they called it. It drove her absolutely mad that her hair was messy and her face was not as clean as usual. She was currently standing guard duty near the caravan to watch out for any thieves. Thieves? she thought, her face scrunching up into something reminiscent of laughter. Like any petty thief would dare to attack the Empirical Military!

History: The Palewoods are a noble, wealthy family of the Empire. Their eldest daughter, Isolde, serves at the Citadel, an honorable position. Isolde spent her childhood being pampered by her family and servants. She loved to paint, write, and make dresses as a young girl. She would often design her own dresses, wearing them about her mansion. Her paintings were hung up around the castle and she would admire them while walking past. She was trained in multiple weapon styles when she became 14 but liked her double katanas and bow and arrows more than the others. She trained with them for about 4 years before she came to serving at the Citadel.
Predisposition to the Magi: Isolde was raised to believe that Magi were the scourge of the Empire, so she really dislikes them.
Personality: Isolde is the kind of girl you wouldn't expect. Tough and unyielding, she seems impenetrable, just as you would expect from a girl serving in such a strong position. She often intimidates others with her presence alone, despite her size. She tries her best to show no weakness, though her shield of toughness is just that, a shell to shield her inner self from harm. If she trusts you enough to put down her barricades, you will be revealed to a young, quirky, kind woman capable of doing anything she puts her mind to. However, Isolde can be unknowingly rude to anyone, even close friends. She doesn't even regard it as rude, so when someone takes it the wrong way she is shocked. She has tried her best to resolve this issue but nothing has worked. She is also very vain, caring much for the way she looks, the way her hair is parted, down to every little detail. She is obsessed with cleanliness, to the point of where she could be called OCD. She likes everything symmetrical, and she will notice if anything is out of place. She keeps her room meticulously organized, her bed always made, and never anything on the floors. Everything about her has to be polished and perfect at all times or she'll go mad.

@canaryrose I will have Elise interact with Elyra and James in my next post. I can, however, have Vladimir interact with your character if you want. they are both templars so they can be acquaintances or even friends.

Caia had gotten there late. She got there just in time to hear the instructions, swearing silently. There was little material left, but she could work with it. She investigated the materials thoroughly, deciding to take 4 mithril, 3 gold, 2 bronze, and 1 steel for the sword itself. For the scabbard, she would take 4 gold and 1 iron. She carried the materials back to her station, all the while swearing under her breath. She dumped them onto the forge, making a design for the sword she would make in her head. It would have a core of 1 bronze, 2 gold and 2 mithril. Mithril and gold were the best materials she had in her stock for making a magic sword, but mithril was one of the hardest materials to work with, so she would need to be extra careful. The outer shell would be very pretty, 2 mithril, 1 bronze, and 1 gold. 1 steel would be used for the handle. Both the sword and scabbard would be purely ceremonial, she had no need to make it fight-worthy. The sword would have beautiful gold embellishments on its handle and the blade. The scabbard would have even more pretty gold embellishments, making it what she thought was the perfect sword for the god.

Personality: Minta is often referred to as one of the "teacher's pets" for lack of a better term. She does whatever the government tells her to do, any mission that they give her is done without question. But this persona of hers is just a mask, just a mask to keep them from really shattering the girl that lays dormant inside of her, a girl that she only lets out while she's with friends or alone. She's actually an intelligent, quirky and kind girl. She hates cleaning but tries to be neat as much as she can. she's totally a bad sport, pouting when she loses a bet and cheering when she wins one.

Enhancement(s): Minta was created with greater marksmanship with guns than most other Slayers.

Weapon(s): Twin shotguns, both inlaid with rose patterns.

Ability: Minta can birth and stimulate new plant life, mostly thorny, poisonous ones. She can add properties to her plants, such as poison and sharper spikes. However, she isn't invincible. Growing plant life and adding features drains her energy, slowly but surely. If a plant is destroyed, it pains her physically. She doesn't have much control, only being able to control up to 3 plants at a time, but she constantly tries to get better. She can't grow her plants too large, otherwise, they get out of control. The poison that she creates is transferred through blood contact, like if it stabs you or something along those lines. Her spikes can be strong and sharp, but not huge. The plants themselves are as strong as her energy output allows them to be. Her plant mutation is a very iffy topic, again, relying on her energy. Her poisons often have quick, fatal effects, or, if she really wants to make someone suffer, a slow, painful effect. Because of her ability's reliance upon her energy, she constantly trains herself to have more and more energy, also, she carries around energy drinks everywhere she goes.

Dude, I totally get it. Powerplaying is the worst thing in roleplaying ever. Hopefully, this version is better, and please know that I wouldn't try to powerplay on purpose.
