Sakura Liu

Name: Sakura Liu
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Weight: 120 pounds
Weapon: Sakura's weapons are two twin katanas named Yume and Unmei. They normally function as just what they are- twin katanas- but they have a hidden feature. They can fuse into one, the two bandaged hilts serving as the connector and the place where Sakura's hand(s) go, and both sides serving as blades.
Semblance: Sakura's semblance is very... odd. She feels no pain. This can be a positive thing, but it's drawbacks outweigh the good things. She has no idea when she's injured- the pain never transmits through. This has lead to several unfortunate accidents in the past. Her semblance serves more as a disability than as a piece of magic that is supposed to benefit her.

Backstory: Sakura is from a very rich Mistral family. When her semblance awakened, her parents basically freaked out. She had come home, bone sticking out of her wrist and blood streaming down her arm- but she was smiling. She wasn't crying or screaming or passed out, like any normal five year-old would've been. In fact, she hadn't even noticed.

After that, she was never alone. If she was allowed to leave the house at all, she was accompanied by an escort. "For her own safety." they said. As she grew bigger and bigger, her parents became more and more protective with each passing day. To pass the time, she read books about heroes and knights and dragons, with their swords of course. She began to gain a fascination with weapons, and the many forms they could take. Axes, bows, arrows, greatswords, rapiers, crossbows, cutlasses, scythes, rifles, shotguns, and so many more. But her personal favorite was always twin katanas. She was drawn to the characters that wielded them, so effortlessly graceful with their beautiful swords.

After years of begging, her parents finally allowed her to learn how to wield the weapons. Sakura affectionately named hers Yume and Unmei. For it was her dream (yume) to wield them, but it turned out to be her fate(unmei). As she had trained with them, she thought about what she wanted to do with them- would it be just a novelty? Or something more?

Eventually, Sakura decided that she wanted to be a Huntress. It sounded- well, very awesome to a girl who was never let out of her own home. When she turned 17, she practically got on her knees and begged her parents to let her go to Beacon. Alone. And they let her go, because they were helpless to their daughter's plees.

And now, for the first time in her life, Sakura is on her own. And she loves it.
Combat Outfit:
For her combat outfit, Sakura wears a samurai-styled outfit, with a a sheath on the back to fit her two katanas.

Well, this morning wasn't turning out quite how Cerise had hoped.

She walked through the remnants of the fight, her crimson lips pursed into a bored expression. Her crossbow was clutched close to her side, closer than usual. She gave a slight sigh at having to punch a riled-up man in the face, but she still didn't unhand her crossbow. A weapon like that wasn't needed against such a weak crowd. Why were they fighting anyway? Last she had checked, this was an Alliance, not a collection of animals. And why had she been called to the briefing room? Were they finally assigning her to a unit? She had been here for weeks now, waiting for an excuse to not laze around with the rest of this so-called 'Alliance'.

Cerise looked intimidating even in her plain clothing. Her inky hair was pulled back into a low ponytail, one of her favorite hairstyles as it was easy to do and kept the hair away from her face. As always, her thrillingly pale face drew attention to her startlingly red eyes, which were accented by her defined eyebrows. Surprisingly, she had used very little makeup to get this way. Just a little bit of blush to add a tad of color to her normally pale-as-the-dead face, and she was set. Of course, her ginormous antlers stuck out of her head like a sore thumb, a sore thumb she was proud of. It just added to the intimidation factor, something that she appreciated.

After she had finished wading through the brawl, she entered the briefing room, ducking in order to avoid hitting her antlers on the doorframe. Though she loved them, she had to admit that the antlers could be somewhat of a hindrance. She gracelessly clambered into one of the chairs in the room, not bothering to greet anyone in the room. If they really needed to, they could ask about her. Though they wouldn't get an answer out of her.
