Final Fantasy: The New Colonies of Eorzea

Hello everyone! I was holding out for a larger group, but I think we have enough people interested to at least get started. If you could, can you each describe what kind of character you want to play (for those who haven't already specified that). I want to decide how best to fit our characters into a single party, and knowing what role each of them fills on the expedition will be beneficial in that :D.

I'm currently looking for Black Ranger uniforms, but did you say that they can be different depending on the individual? I found something I like for Sacha, but I don't know if it would fit here.

You could say the Nanosuit shifts into that, but you may want make a slight alteration to say the face is covered too.

I'm going for a sun theme. Bossman, any idea on how the suits are going to look like? You going with the classic MMPR white diamonds or something else?

Well, they should definitely look more like futuristic suits rather than spandex, but I'm open to suggestions. They also don't have to all be exactly the same, we can say the Nanosuit shifts it's appearance to match the user's desires. I'll drop a few ideas I'm considering for the Green Ranger below, feel free to use a similar appearance for your suits or come up with something unique to your Ranger:

Okay, I'll claim Black, but his outfit is gonna be black base with silver highlights if that's okay. I want him to use a staff as a weapon that matches the abilities since the creatures scanned are a Dragon, Siren (water/sound), and I haven't thought of the third creature yet, but I want him to be like mystical, majestic, etc.

Okay, sure! You could say the staff is formed by some of the nanites from the suit, similar to the external weapons Iron Man summons in Infinity War.

Pink Ranger

Dragon: Pink Dragonfire
Unicorn: Healing/possibly Photokinesis
Flamingo: Flight

Honestly Flamingo is just there because it’s Pink, and I’m assuming the Chimeras are all Dragon, Mythological Animal, and Real World Animal.

Well, you're not locked into those exact types, as long as the first one is Dragon, the other two slots are completely open. And feel free to use Flamingo, but you're not locked into exclusively pink animals. If there are other ones you'd like to use, you can just say the dragon is pink/rose colored or something. And if he summons an aura of pink dragonfire and can use photokinesis to form hard light constructs, it could look like this:





When my Green Ranger powers up, his aura will look similar to this, albeit less rage-fueled:

You can use any race from any FF game, feel free to let your creativity fly! :D. As for the gunner idea, I'd be okay with that if the rifles are magic-based, powered by crystals like you suggested. We could say the expedition is armed with a number of weapons provided by Magitek Ironworks.

Feel free to use whatever colors you'd like, but I am playing the Green Ranger and Purple Ranger, and Crimson Flame has expressed interest in the Pink Ranger. That leaves four Ranger spots open, but you can pick any color for those that isn't already taken. Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Black, and White are ideal choices. If there is enough interest, we can add more Ranger spots and have the team be bigger. If all the colors I mentioned get claimed, I'll change the name from Seven Chimeras to Nine Chimeras, wherein we would have eight good Rangers and Bandora as the evil ninth Ranger.
