Well, he could fall with them into the tunnels. Since the ship is underground, he'd need to be there to witness it, unless he senses the energy from up on the surface.

I reckon we start as is. We can always come up with excuses to add more people.

Another idea: perhaps Zordon can make more nanosuits, but it requires something. Maybe two or more of the Rangers have to "donate" part of theirs. I imagine the suits are capable of self repair, so if they donate some of their nanites, they'll be weakened temporarily, while a new suit "grows" in its own capsule.

EDIT: we would need to bake in some kind of excuse for why he hasn't just been making spares. Maybe it needs a sentient being to bond with before it can grow and/or repair?

Some of that will come to light when Zordon explains how the power works. The process melds a few different aspects from PR lore, such as Zeo Crystals and my own homebrew version of the Morphin Grid. I'm still ironing out the bugs, but I'll present it in a fully-fleshed out manner in the story posts. Shelby will be extremely curious how everything works :D.

Story wise i'd say no, game staying alive wise I say get everyone you can. We'll work them in somehow. You could just say that Tommy didn't find enough 'worthy' candidates to give all the suits out.

Or perhaps there was a second ship and someone else unearth it and the AI Demetria. Or something.

I meant for the starting group, meaning the ones who are at Amber Beach when the earthquake sends them falling into the tunnel system where Zordon's ship is. Perhaps I should have worded it better, lol. In other words, should we hold off to try and get more people in that starting group, or should we put a cap on it temporarily and say that any new Rangers don't enter the story until after the Amber Beach incident?

I also wanted to ask everyone - should we keep recruiting or do you think we have a decent enough group for now? I feel like we have a good starting group to allow us to get our characters established and get this custom version of a PR continuity up and running, and then we could potentially recruit additional Rangers at a later date. Perhaps there is a second stash of Nanosuits in a storage vault somewhere else on Earth or spread out like the Energems, or some other plot device to allow additional Rangers to pop up after our original team has become established within the lore.

Okay, Shelby the Silver Ranger and Karone the Red Ranger ;). Karone has garnered quite the following on Twitch under her gamer alias, Astronema. She's a student at Angel Grove High like the others and is part of the fundraiser as well. She is with them when they find Zordon's ship and she bonds with the Red Nanosuit. It is only then that it is revealed Bandora is still alive within the suit's memory and she takes over Karone's body.
