ROLEPLAY INFORMATION

My partners must be 18 or Older

I prefer to ride under the mature content banner. I enjoy violence, intimacy, trauma, etc.

Casual to low advanced role playing is my general give. If you give shorter posts I will likely shrink mine to match. I give what I get. But one liners make my heart hurt.

I prefer medieval fantasy settings. I am horrible at space role plays and modern bores me.

As far as fandoms go, I enjoy Skyrim / Elder Scrolls, Tudor Dynasty, Throne of Glass, and Conan (though I'm not versed in the lore, I do play).

I don't enjoy writing with OP Mary Sues. Be realistic.

I will almost always jump into an Elder Scrolls related rp. It is my bread and butter. I really enjoy the setting.

@Eirene I lol'd.
Being a snob, that will be fun for her.

"OH WHAT IS THIS OFFENSE? BURN IT" *gag*

hehehehe. thenkyew.
So, considering my character can't see, I need other ways for her to know characters. Hearing is easy enough, I think. But smells? Like @HangYourSecrets Amos would probably smell like herbs and plants, at least. @Shorticus Cormac would smell of booze.

But I'm not sure of the others. If you'd be willing to give me odors, I'd appreciate that.
*adds that to list of things she's never had to say before*
@Darcs Can I jump on that boat? I like that.
To the side of the discussing group stood a young man. He wore a nondescript tunic and breeches, a turban like cloth around his dark curls, and simple sandals. On appearance, he looked like any other boy that would be seen around the town. All that marked him as different were the bright bracelets he wore around his wrists to signal his servitude.

He stared uncertainly at the group as they discussed which path to take. He wasn't sure where they were going, but he needed to know when, so he could alert his mistress. Glancing sideways, the boy spotted the hooded woman through the crowd. She sat upon a bench on a far wall, her face obscured, her hands neatly tucked beneath her shawl. She looked like any other waiting lady, from here.

Why she was participating in this journey, the servant Rory didn't know. But he was getting good pay to accompany her. So he wouldn't question it.

Rory put his attention back on the group before him, listening to the talk of boats and western roads. He'd never traveled far from Fort Washington in his fourteen years. The idea of doing so made him both nervous and excited. Another reason he wasn't questioning his mistress's desire to join them. In part, he hoped for a boat, as he'd never been on one. And it might be funny to watch his mistress get around on one. Rory smiled to himself for the amusing thought.

He heard the faint chime of a small bell, and Rory turned at once to walk towards his mistress. Guiltily, he wondered if she knew what he'd been imagining. She had a way of following his thoughts with unnatural accuracy. “Yes, Mistress?”

The head beneath the hood tilted ever so slightly. “What is taking them so long?”
“They're deciding which path to take, Mistress.” Rory said, his voice small. He didn't like when his mistress complained in public.
She scoffed, her sneering face unseen. “This is poor planning.” She muttered. “You'd think a faction working for the king would have the foresight to pick a damned road.”
Rory looked around nervously. Most were paying attention to the unit in the courtyard, and not the hooded woman. “Mistress, I cannot hear their decision if I'm this far from them.” The boy said. “Shall I tell the lord you'd like to take a boat to the east?”
The woman sniffed beneath her hood. “I take no preference.” She insisted. “But in any case, a choice must be made. Tell them I'd take the third option. The boat to Kebek.” Rory frowned, unaware his mistress could hear their talk from this far.
“Yes, Mistress.” He said, bowing politely before he trudged back to the group to offer her opinion.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity I've used the basic wards and shielding stuff. the rest is like, super foreign to me.
Suddenly someone said "no magic" and I was unsure of how to write. XD I've become dependent.

@DeltaV I hadn't decided on that, truthfully. I think having an NPC would help her a good deal. Should I add that in the CS?

And hm, i think she's got a good excuse if she shows up late.
Name / Sex / Age
Evelyn “Eve” Rutherford / Female / 26

Appearance
Evelyn is 176cm (5'7”), thin, and proper. She's pale skinned and fair haired, and would have been pretty were it not for her scars. An attack on her house left her arms and legs burned, and her face sports several scars from the weapons of her assailants. Her eyes were pierced with blades, and she covers her eyes with a dark cloth to help hide her damaged skin (though not well enough).

Personality
Coming from an old family, Evelyn was raised to be well prepared for the high society. By high society, this narrator means the holders of the past. Proprietors and curators of relics and libraries. She's smart, suave, and well mannered.
Or at least she was.
Her past left her bitter and blunt. She's often unfriendly, and views those around her to be beneath her. She hides from public view often, and uses a servant to do her shopping and visiting. Evelyn, when in range of another, won't try as hard to hide her sharp tongue, and will butt into any conversation in which she over hears talk of relics.

Background
Evelyn was born in what passes as this society's upper class. Her father was rather rich, and made sure his daughters were educated. However, her family's wealth led others to believe that they owned some sort of relic, and an ambush came in the night. With her father slaughtered, the women were abused, maimed, and left to burn in the ransacked and torched house. Evelyn survived the fire by hiding in the fireplace, of all locations, waiting until the heat died away to wander out.
Her eyes had been pierced, her face scarred, and her legs and arms burnt, Evelyn crawled away from her destroyed home to seek help. A few years after the incident, she's comfortable enough in her own marred body to get around, often hiding away from view, using a hired servant to care for her needs. (I am flexible as to where the money comes from. An estate or a relative of her father's would be my best guesses.)

Motivation
Evelyn is on the mission to get over her fear of the world. Her father had educated her to be more than a recluse. On the ten year anniversary of her family's demise, Eve has decided to reestablish her family name.

Equipment
Breeches. Knee-high leather boots. Two tunics, one with long sleeves. Hooded poncho. Leather belt, and a leg satchel. A signet ring that belong to her family, which she wears hidden around her neck.
Dual bearded axes. While she can't see, Evelyn has managed to learn how to play defense, using axes to defend herself. Not well, however. (Imagine Blinkin' from Robin Hood, Men in Tights. A for effort, right?)
Attendant. A soft spoken adolescent male with a greater skill for weapons than herself, and no will to argue for himself.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity I'm very low magic. I know very little of it, and have had to make shit up as I go along because everyone uses magic...
Most of my characters, therefore, have a lock of knowledge as well.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity
I hope it runs smoothly.
