Yeah, there's a lot of military characters :P not a bad thing, but slightly limiting. Loken is technically kind of a bridge between the civilian and military departments for GM reasons

It is to be expected really. The UWG was on total war footing which meant conscription on a planet-by-planet basis depending on their situation. As individual worlds are pretty much free to run themselves as they see fit provided they adhere to UWG legislation, there will be a lot of variation on how they prepared to face The Nomad. The way to most accurately describe the UWG would be a planetary-scale melding of the EU and the UN. This probably worked against Humanity rather than for it when faced with an agile and extremely dangerous outside enemy.

@ihinka Sounds pretty good to me. We need civilian personnel to balance out the roster at this point in time.

@ihinka Hmm okay. Perhaps she's been put forward to help in the search and rescue effort? Its only 8 days after the final battle so its hard to say what kind of disarray the UWG would be in.

@CatharynYay, thanks I'm still not sure where to put her though... The master-at-arms and gunnery sergeant are kinda not working now with her being an alien and all... I would welcome ideas Also... I can be bothered to invent a ranking structure for the Explorers and Protectors if there is future interest in the species, just FYI... Or simply for the enrichment of the universe as well

Morning all @Conscripts Let me read the PM you sent me and i can offer some insights based on that. I didn't get time yesterday as there were so many other things competing for my attention!

@DracoLunaris Good sheet! The one thing thats holding it back for me are the Scissor Drones; they're the only thing that seems kinda OP and the art style isn't consistent with the RP. If you're happy taking them out or changing the details the Eclipse tribe is accepted by me!

@ihinka Nice work, your character is accepted! I'll add the species to the accepted roster as well today.

@TheMadAsshatter Wow, great sheet! Its very well written and fits in perfectly up until the end. Although i'm changing the OP to reflect that the RP starts 8 days after the final battle of Earth, i'm still not sure that gives you time to help rebuild Rostov. The last two paragraphs may be better played out IC as the war has really only just finished. Once you've rectified those last two paragraphs your character is accepted!

The Nomad seems like a right freak. Now I definitely understand why Silver Carrot's character freaked out :)
Out of curiosity, do you have a scale in mind for the Nomad's robots?

No i don't but they're all pretty big. Howitzer, which in my mind is the biggest, is over 10 times the height of a normal human male.

@Catharyn Yes, those were the ones I was referring to. Howitzer, Bruiser and Thrasher. There's a scene in my character's history that involves a battle between her squad and some of Nomad's robots. If some of them are flight capable it would fit the scene. But I can work around it, of course . It also makes reference to bio-weapons being deployed. I did understand correct that Nomad utilizes them, right?

None of the weapons platforms so far are flight capable but there are airborne units that haven't been described yet. I will attempt to elaborate one for you later.

@Ozymandias@Catharyn Question. Since I started working on my CS now... Are any of Nomad's robots flight capable? Or are they more of a ground troops sort of thing?

Are you referring to the heavy weapons platforms i've put in the OP tab? Those ones are not flight capable but from the swarms of materiel there would undoubtedly be in-atmosphere flight capable craft. I'm trying to fill out more of the Nomad war machine this evening.

@Conscripts What might be better is if you assume the role of the Scythian's second in command, behind a Commander who can be played as an NPC. That way you're freed up to pursue your own interests. Would that be acceptable?
