I'm a Dark Souls fan so the grade scaling system is something I am familiar with. However for the sake of convenience I think I'd prefer to use your system.

Here is a second character. Also I'm curious as to the Stat system you've seem to implement in the IC. Could I please have a rundown of what all the stats affect? I've made some general guesses based on prior knowledge but I'd like to know your system.

Kieran is quite a tall young fellow, standing at around 6'3" and weight around 87kg. He has a very lean, muscular build which he's developed over his lifetime as a competitive swimmer. He's a very active person and as such has quite a tanned complexion as well as skin dotted with freckles. His messy brown hair always smells of the ocean and is always quite dry. In day to day life he usually enjoys a very casual style of clothing: blue jeans, simple tee and a jacket if it's cold.

Class Description The Samurai is a tank class that can transition into a semi-damage class. The Samurai isn't burdened by heavy armor and shields like a Paladin or Knight would be. Instead the Samurai utilises careful, precise sword maneuvers to defend against attacks whilst maintaining their position before redirecting their opponents momentum against them in a series of elaborate strikes. Their damage is lacking compared to other damage type classes, but they are capable of going toe to toe with tough foes whilst maintaining the front line in battle.

Limit Break

The Samurai enters a defensive stance, blocking 80% of all damage dealt to him for the next 3 seconds whilst being unable to move or make any action. When he finishes channeling, the Samurai releases a horizontal slash from their blade dealing 300% of all damage absorbed for the duration in a large cone in front of them.[LOCKED]

• Training Bokken A standard wooden Katana used in training new Samurai. Deals blunt damage as opposed to a Katana's usual Slash type.

Character Theme - Queen of Rose

Veronica stands at about 5'4" with a very slender, almost lanky build suggesting that she is not incredibly active. Her porcelain white skin is a signature of her preference for the indoors and she is usually seen wearing apparel more suited for winter. Veronica prefers the cold weather and usually adorns herself in thick jumpers, hand knitted scarves and gloves with thigh high boots and a plait skirt. She has rather simple features and not much stands out about her appearance wise, aside from perhaps her long, golden hair that is always kept waist length and flows freely.

Marcus “Limbo” Clementine

Marcus intently listened to Erin while he recalled a short tale of his life before the Wizards of Fiore. It was quite fascinating, talking to other wizards. Carnival folk had interesting backstories, but none of them were quite piqued Marcus interest as much as the story of how a wizard has lived their life. Marcus often found himself in his youth begging Master Henryk to recall the tales of how he became known as Henryk the Magnificent, Master of the Rift. At the time he didn't even stop to consider that perhaps his mentor was just making a lot of his tales up, but he didn't care; they were quite the investing stories. Listening to Erin talk about the wars, Marcus could feel his mood somber, even if the cheerful man didn't show it on his face. The war was a difficult time for many people, and Marcus felt guilty that he had no words of empathy to impart. He wasn't involved in the war, and neither was his family. He sighed at the thought of losing his family to war; even his despised father, which surprised him.

Marcus took a swig from the drink that Erin had kindly placed in front of him, gagging as the alcohol burned the back of his throat. Not wanting to seem rude, he swallowed the booze with a painfully forced smile. He also didn't want to seem like a kid who couldn't handle a little drink in front of his new comrade.
"Pardon me. So you saved a village during the war?" Marcus said, flashing Erin a proud grin, "I guess that makes you a hero then. I'm honored to share this drink with you, Erin." Marcus took another swig from the glass, instantly coughing it back and keeling over as he tried to remove every last ounce of the horrid stuff from his tongue.

He tried to laugh it off, but he obviously wasn't fooling anyone. Thankfully, Erin was compassionate enough to change the subject back to Marcus' magic. It never occurred to Marcus the rarity of his masters craft, since growing up he'd spent so much time around it with Henryk that it felt normal. Clearing his throat, Marcus decided to keep it simple as to not bore Erin with the details.
"I'm a Rift Mage. I can slip in and out of existence and bring people to an alternate dimension where I hold all the cards. That's why that kid, what was his name? Belial, you said. Yeah, he looked like he passed right through me. Technically he didn't. Technically I just stopped existing in this dimension for short period." He shrugged, smiling mischievously at Erin. "Call it foul play if you'd like, but I prefer to think of it as fighting on my own terms." While normally a showman like Marcus would provide a demonstration, the day had been quite long and arduous for the young mage. It would probably be a lot less effort to leave it at a simple explanation and order another round of drinks for Erin and Marcus; although this time he made sure his wouldn't be alcoholic.

Alice couldn't help but find the young man who spoke to her quite charming. He was quite charismatic for someone who looked as young as he did. She was even more delighted that he was willing to help her. Suddenly the fear of sorting through all those files and medicinal equipment faded away. She placed a hand casually on her hip and smiled at the young boy.
"It's very kind of you to take me up on my offer. I'm sure there are a hundred other things a dashing gentleman such as yourself could be doing right now." She nodded her head respectfully, about to comment on how grateful she'd be when the familiar looking white haired individual came practically hobbling through the door and towards Belial. He looked like he was in pain, but from her viewpoint it didn't seem that bad. She withheld a comment about Ms Oshiro's power, figuring that it was the last thing Isshum wanted to hear right now. Belial scolded Isshum in a friendly way for ignoring Alice, redirecting his attention back to her.
"Glad to see you so eager. First things first, introductions. My name is Alice Kisaragi, I'll be resuming my role as a medic here at the guild. I've brought a lot of my medical equipment with me and require it to be set up in the infirmary and an office. Nothing too hard, just need to make sure all the files are in the right place. It's quite an extraneous task to tackle alone though."

Alice began to be mindful of the time, staring at the Guild Hall. With a quick moments thought, she decided to change her mind.
"You know, on second thought. It's been a very long day, and I feel like you three would agree. So why don't we make a deal. It'll be my pleasure to treat a lovely lady and two handsome young men to a meal tonight in exchange for your help tomorrow." Alice smiled, including the young girl who had wished to challenge Matt earlier, even though she sat quietly and kept to herself. Alice took note of Isshum's remark about eating fire, deciding to tempt the Dragonslayer a little more.
"I'll even let you taste a special fire of mine, one that you've probably never encountered before."

@Genkai Sorry for keeping you waiting on a response for so long. So in terms of what I intend for the plot, I really don't want to enforce too much of a story because I'd very much like the roleplay to progress based on the interactions of our characters (Which is why I would prefer a smaller group than a larger one, as you say). At the same time, I do have some ideas in mind that could act as somewhat of a catalyst for tension between characters.

One idea I have relates to a schism inside the Inner Circle as to who should rightfully head the family. There would be Jin Sohma on one side, the strong minded entrepreneur that intends to raise the families wealth and power. He's fearful of the curse and tends to be quite harsh towards members of the Zodiac, but he is willing to grant them freedom in the hopes that they will support the growth of the clan.

The other side of the Inner Circle would be those who are more aware of the particulars of the Curse and how the Zodiac Spirits are bound to one another forever. They wish for Jin to respectfully step down from his position as head of the family to make way for the unborn child who is God. They practically worship the Zodiac members and treat them as if they are better than everyone else, keeping them inside the Inner Circle.

So essentially you'd have two groups in the Roleplay. The Zodiac members who stand behind Jin; who grants them the freedom to be their own person even despite being hard on them. And then the Zodiac members who remained in the Inner Circle and are respected and revered but are under the strict supervision of those in the Inner Circle. They'd be able to leave the compound but they'd be unable to form bonds with anyone from the outside world as easily as those who follow Jin without being scrutinized by their elders.

I hope that from this concept a lot of tension between characters will develop, as well as make room for many interesting relationships between regular people and members of the Zodiac. Those who are on Jin's side are still mindful of the curse, but they aren't being taught to fear it and resist human connections. Whereas those in the Inner Circle are taught that the Curse marks them as different and people won't accept their differences. The Cats role in this story is essentially the same as in the Manga, except whoever decides to fill that role can decide which side their character falls on. I also think this could lead to some interesting development, especially when the one who takes the role of God is born; will some who are loyal to Jin sense their connection to God and abandon Jin to be with the child?

The problem so far that I'm having with this premise is that having two sides to the Sohma family, as well as outsiders and maybe even non-zodiac Sohma members, is that we're not looking for an exceptionally large cast here. In fact our interest has been incredibly low. So if we were to go with this idea, it would have to be scaled down to really only accomodate for 4-6 roleplayers. I mean if we have 6 roleplayers and each have 2 characters then that's 12 characters to work with right there, so that'd be enough. But at this rate I don't know how much interest we will get and I certainly know that not every roleplayer is comfortable with multiple characters.

I hope this answered your question for what I intended for plot. It's not a very confronting situation, but it would hopefully set the scene as to how our characters act towards each other and to outsiders.

I was working today with a child on the autism spectrum who is very non-verbal outside of peoples names. We were walking to the art classroom when he stops and points at the lady walking past us. Out of nowhere, this kid just shouts "DIIIIIIIE!" at this lady and I'm just sitting there, speechless and kind of scared.

Turns out the woman's name on her nametag was Di (pronounced Dee, not Die).

Anyway, I'm home now so I will put out a post. It might be a little rushed, since I have to go out again tonight.
