I actually think the changes I'm making to Axis would prove for a more interesting relationship between the two.

And by changes I mean... I've pretty much destroyed Axis and from his ashes a more well thought out Council Member will rise. Someone who will probably despise Sayatachi and be equally as hated by her.

I have no qualms, but there's something I like about your two Phoenix Wing members that makes me miss them already.

If I have to be honest, Isabella and Bullet will probably receive the least changes. Though I never really took the chance to show it well, I enjoyed the dynamic I had set up for them.

I kind of just want to rewrite their sheets and really re-define their personality and backstory. Those things will probably change, but I'd very much like to keep the dynamic the two had together.

I was wondering when you would show up again! Sayatachi was already getting quite lonely (@Raijinslayer Are you good to go with that next post? Or did I overlook something?*)

And you don't have to wait another arc. I'll gladly have her come back to the stadium and meet up with one of your Council Members or both maybe. (That is if you allow me too. If you want to wait, that's cool too).

*Edit: Nvm, I actually DID overlook that. Seemed like you didn't label me. Well in that case Leslie, I'll gladly have Sayatachi come back to the Stadium to check on one of your characters.

I would bring them in, but after having had a chance to read through my characters during my break at work I've came to the conclusion that I don't particularly like a lot of things about the CS's.

Some of it to do with format, but mostly just to do with the way I explained things back then? I feel like I wasn't as mindful about certain aspects of them. I'm really not happy with Vera and Axel mostly. I can't really say what I was thinking when I wrote them because it was months ago now, but they just feel so... thrown into things?

All in all I just find the characters I wrote so long ago to be rather weak in terms of personality and backstory. Even some of their magic is explained poorly and lacks sufficient detail (at least to me).

If I'm allowed to by the GM's, I think I'd like to take this opportunity and rehash the characters entirely. I might still keep their general concepts, maybe tweak or change their magics around to something less... dumb. Basically I kinda feel like I can do better? Actually get some genuine characters ready to be introduced for the next Arc. Of coarse this is hardly an epiphany. I did write them nearly 5 months ago now. My writing has changed and my own personal standard of what I consider acceptable has changed.

I'm rambling... TL:DR The characters I wrote disappoint me and if it's alright I'd like to offer them an exclusive make over in this weeks episode of 'Pimp My OC'.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I never had much of an opportunity to play as my characters. Perhaps it would be best if I wait until the next arc starts before reintroducing them?

It'll give me some time to look over their sheets and see where I was going and possibly change them up a bit? I don't remember much about them tbh.

At least, right now in the games it's Iron Enigma's Luna and Mark VS Tough Love's Evangeline and Sanguin But that's all I know.

So uh, I'm alive I guess. Smooth Re-Entry

I could fill up a wall of text explaining why I was gone, but most of the reasoning is either a) Personal, b) Kind of irrelevant to anything or c) Really confusing and contrived.

So out of interest of not boring everyone with minor details and keeping my personal life... personal... am I allowed to sum up my reason for being inactive for so long as just "Shit happpened"?

I think the most important thing here is the fact that I owe you all a massive apology for disappearing and not saying anything. Things were hectic, but not so much that I couldn't quickly hop on and just give a brief status update. I'm very embarrassed for never doing that. It was incredibly inconsiderate. I'm very sorry for that.

So now that all that sad and mopey stuff is out of the way; How the heck have all you guys been? I really did miss this thread and it's cheerful participants.

I'm alive again and ready to get back into the thick of things!

Unfortunately there is one slight hiccup. I'm still quite busy with stuff irl (renovations, work, a personal project, another roleplay and potentially school) and I don't know if I'm going to be capable of roleplaying all four of my characters. (I also needed to re-vamp Vera's abilities because they were rushed and lazily written, same with Axis to an extent).

I will try, but if it's too much for me then I'll have to consider dropping a character.

But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it! Is there a summary of what's happened while I was gone on the website?

Darkness and Light

I think the main thing that needs to happen now is the uniting of all the Light side characters to discuss the conflict. The Crown isn't going to know about what took place with the bandits and the Dark Side until the remaining rangers and company report it directly themselves.

I may even have Mercury appear along their journey.

The royal family meanwhile... I got nothing. We kind of ostracized ourselves from everyone else and the central conflict. Perhaps a brief post from the others describing their intention to go to the castle, followed by a Time Skip will be necessary?

As for the Dark Side, I think we should really begin working on an agenda for how the conquest is going to go about. I've been busy and admittedly not put much thought into it, so I'd like some ideas to bounce around.
