Trinity welcomed Karn into her arms as he flew down to her, nuzzling softly against his side and rubbing his side with her fingers. "Nero's alright. His magic is a little... hard to predict? We'll figure it out, though." The young lady goes for a stroll with Karn as they have their chat.

"So... you don't want to keep living with the friends and family you just found, Karn? You'd just... leave us like that? I guess you've dealt with it longer than we've known you, but... were you just, not going to tell anyone? Or was Prince going to come and explain? Why you wouldn't be coming back." She sighed, before she suddenly stomped her foot and looked aside. "Dammit, I should have pressed you harder about this sooner..." She's stopped in front of the ice cream shop again, her arms dropping to her sides as Karn tranforms to his real form. Just look at how sickly he seems...

"How often do you publish, Riley?" Hadn't an issue gone out just recently? Recently enough for a Magic Games article to be in it. Maybe it was a special issue. But he was on board, which was good. She'd need his enthusiasm and energy to keep this going, early on. She'd get lots of enthusiastic content for their new magazine.

"So, we'll want to split up the four big competitors. Which one do you want the most, Riley?" She produced her notepad, jotting down the names of the guilds and organizing some notes. "What are the names of the four minor guilds? I'll get some information on them, shouldn't just ignore them." Between finishing her article, finding all the equipment they'd need, and whatever else she'd have to find, Jasmine would be busy, but she'd have more time. Depending on how often Riley's magazine published, though...

"In that case, my first wish remains standing. But, alright. Nothing very morally questionable, though."

Had she offended him somehow, last time? Did she tease him too much? He seemed a little cold, this time around, but maybe he was just trying to be business-like? "Your confidence is reassuring." With a soft sigh, her eyes turn to the dragoncat perched on a nearby lamp post. "I just hope he finds some measure of assurance in it, too..." She shakes her head after a moment, peering past Nero into the ice cream shop. "You're surprisingly popular, aren't you. I'll bet it's a heart of gold you keep tucked away." She continued quickly, figuring the dark mage would want to get back to his company, "Well, I won't keep you. Go treat your girl friends to their ice cream." She smiled to herself as she started toward the lamppost Karn was on, letting herself get a little excited. Nero's magic was a rather strange one, and it might be just the thing they need, in this case.

"Karn, come here?" Trinity holds her arms out to the cute creature, perched above her. "He sounds confident. Karn, if this works, you'll be cured. Maybe Master Rian will be given a few years to live quietly, instead of a few days? Don't miss your chance because you've already given up. Don't let those people who tried, to have tried in vain. They wanted you to live, Karn. If this doesn't work, then I... really don't know what to do about it, so... please?" Was she just being selfish? She didn't think so... or she didn't want to think so. To want another to live, to the point it becomes selfish?

But, inaction would only make her feel regret, wouldn't it?

"Hey, I never said you had to quit your current job. Well, I guess you might, once we publish." The young woman, tapping her chin thoughtfully, glanced at her notes. "I know I'm going to finish this weapon article on the games before I quit, that aughta pay me for the month. How often does your magazine publish again, Riley?" Once she had her weapon articles written up for her publication, she'd have to go right into writing and editing for their new startup magazine. She doubted they'd be the only two, so she'd have to line up interviews with the winning team to get the best shot at coming out on top of the other magazines.

"I've got it, Riley. Our feature article. C'mere, nobody else can hear this..." She leans over the table and motions Riley closer. "_{Our feature article for the first release of our magazine is going to be a double feature, on the champion and runner up team immediately after the tournament ends.}" She leans away, sitting back down. "Whatever we can get! After party highlights, vacation spot reels _{oooh, photo shoots}, interviews. Who are the most powerful guilds in Fiore? Y'know?"
