If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

ohhh this is going to be fun....

Oh, jeez. Yeah, this'll be fun.

Hmm... what sort of retaliation does Karn get...? I've got a few ideas brewing. Just gotta pick one.
Trinity Stratos

Trinity had woken a little late to the meeting. She made the stairs just in time to hear Jamie's announcement, and what an announcement it was. She couldn't help but notice Karn moving outside, leaving Jarvis behind, either. She approached Jarvis, reaching up to touch his shoulder. Once he turned around, she spoke softly, "I think I know what that was about. Jarvis, Karn is-" She stops to listen to Damian's demands, but she shook her head. This was more important. But, then again... "Maybe we shouldn't discuss this in front of everyone in the middle of a festival." She glanced at her surroundings and then back at Jarvis. "Penny knows some, as well. And if you can find that 'Prince' guy, he knows plenty. Oh, wait, I heard Karn mention his name. Maybe you can leverage it against him... Ooh, what was it? Ah, Claire. That was it. Anyway, I better get moving. It's only getting more likely that I'll be participating, right?"

The young lady pardoned herself and set off out the door of the hotel. She should be prompt. As she stepped out the door, however, she found Karn. Her tread slowed to a stop, though her eyes were caught on something else. Some kind of... floating toy? "Karn?" She looked to her friend, concerned. "How ya doin'...? Feeling alright?" She paused, considering that he might not want to really talk about it. If he was going to be so stubborn, maybe... she should just enjoy her time with him. "Ah, what's that you've got there? Some kind of toy?"
*emerges* Mnnng. Hello again.
Private Durandal

The young guard laid on the side of the hill, basking in the sun with her sword on the ground next to her. Birds chirped in the trees, she could hear the water trickling down the stream from the nearby river, and it was peaceful. The villagers at the bottom of the hill went about their business in their quiet little village, and all was well. It was very sudden when the clank of armor caught her ear, and she lifted her head to gaze down at an advancing column of soldiers, walking straight toward the village. Stunned for a moment by disbelief, the warrior grabbed her sword and ran down the hill, toward the advancing column.

The following battle was fierce. The warrior, though she fought valiantly, was knocked out by an explosion. She heard snapping, as though someone were trying to rouse her...

Durandal gave a groan, before her eyes fluttered open to see Skye over her. "... G'morning..." She blinks at the woman, a Darcsen, and then at her armor. Armor? And this wasn't her house. Where was she? And, wait, where- there. Her sword. That was a small comfort, but that didn't answer her question. "So, I have a question. Aah... where am I?"
Trinity Stratos

Trinity chortles to herself, plopping herself into a chair at the table with Nero. "Harrowing indeed. But, I do have to wonder what that little dart of yours does, exactly. It's probably pretty harrowing, too, huh?" She watched as Ayame went to go try, wondering how she'd do. "Jerks from earlier? Someone bothering you, Nero?" The archer turned to her friend, studying him for his reaction. She only had a moment before she heard a crash from the firing range. Ayame had gotten knocked over by the crossbow she'd picked up from the weapons guy.

"Oh, jeez." Trinity stifled a giggle and straightened her face before she spoke. "Are you alright, Ayame? That looks like it hurt..."
Planning to post tonight. Sorry about the wait.
Trinity Stratos

Heh, Emperor Nero. Riiiight. The young lady gave a soft chuckle, rolling her eyes as Nero rolled one joke into another, terrible pun. When the genie-mage stepped up to the range, Trinity began to watch carefully. She was a little confused when he called his attack. Slayer magic? Well, maybe it was Genie Slayer magic at that. To be a genie would be to grant wishes, but... Slayer Magics were typically more direct, right?

Oh. That's because he makes up whatever. "You are a stinker. Such a deceptive tactic, though I suppose it's only natural. If that's what you've got, you've gotta do something tricky with it. But, surely, that isn't your only attack...? Aah, but I understand if you want to keep some secret techniques... well, secret."

"Here, I'll shoot next." Trinity stepped up to the range next. She shouldn't show off too much, since she's in the tournament, but a little bit shouldn't hurt. The archer-minstrel motioned, as though pulling an arrow from her quiver, and as she conitued the motion to put that arrow to her string, it formed in her hand. A plain arrow, pristine, sharp, and true. She loosed the arrow into the target in front of her, scoring a good hit near the bullseye. With a quick "repeat," she pulled her bowstring again. Another arrow formed, and she loosed it. Not far from the first. Closer to center, actually. She fires a series of ten shots, scoring one bullseye with no outliers.

"There. Not bad, ey?" The minstrel dismisses her bow and quiver, turning to her compaions with a smile. She'd step down from the range for now, wondering if someone else wanted a turn.
So. That fight collab? @Caits? @Amaya Yashia?
