Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

@Klomster The Deliverance War (name may be changed) was fairly recently; the Quxikotl Empire was declining long before it (comes with having an Empire totally focused on war with literally nothing else), but the war and bombardment was the final nail in the coffin. It was less than 100 years ago at most but probably still pretty fresh with realistically no more than 50 years ago give or take. Maybe some where in the neighborhood of 30-40 years? Definitely enough time for one generation to grow up not having to fear the lizarddouches and to think of them as the poor (lizard)man of Jalaryias but not more than that.

Combine the pre-WW1 European idea of the Ottomans being the sick man of Europe, post-WW1 Germany getting absolutely hammered and how Chinese people thought of the Japanese post-Nanking Rape and that's about how I for see people viewing the Quxikotl. Given that the Quxikotl have been raiding and warring with everyone else for generations now, I'm curious as to why the Scharferkin would have a good opinion of the lizarddouches knowing that they'd get some very intense stares from everyone else.
@Ozerath Question: But would the Quxikotl have a place in this Concordat? Since as of right now they're set up as the one race everyone literally hates to death.
@Sigma Just a proof of concept for my idea so WIP.
I got the wild idea of having them originally be like one of those mary-sue nations that had a perfect planet with lots of resources and everyone was unnaturally happy, unwavering loyalty to the state and the largest, most powerful military ever but then thoroughly got shafted to become what it is today. They've sort of abandoned their old ways and are in a bit of a limbo/blank slate with limited control of even their own planet to the point other people have just come on and built their own little base on it for any number of reasons.

@BingTheWing Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it less players start suddenly coming back
@Sigma Oh, my understanding was that non-Garden worlds where planets not exactly suitable for life, not just any planets that could house life to begin with. Although being a giant nomad fleet with hidden outposts and stuff would work out pretty well given the fact that my dudes are somewhat being hunted down by officers who want a quick bit of glory to propel their military careers.
@Sigma I have an idea for a race/planet and I'm wondering if it'll fit.

Alien race X (still a WIP) was once a really proud, aggressive and martial race who eventually began to want to fight with the other races. For a time they were pretty successful but for one reason or another, their enemies became too great in numbers or advancement and the tides turned. Not only where they beaten back, but the Garden world they evolved on was nuked and bombarded to hell that it can barely support life and that the term "fallen from glory" is a dramatic undercutting of its destruction. The race as a whole has gone through something of an existential crisis as their illusions of battle and war have completely collapsed on themselves after their antagonistic run of "solar system conquerers".

If this is approved, I can turn it up to 11 and have them still be at war with someone else who basically kicking them around for shits and giggles at this point with the Race now a dying race whose fighting a loosing war of survival. They have enacted all the things you'd suspect from a run of the mill evil militaristic government like rationing, thought policing, no personal freedoms and human/xenos rights abuses but its not because they're outward antagonists but because that's the only way they're survive for now.

Basically at one point they were space mongols that everyone feared but are now pointed at and lauded as primitive, backwards and unenlightened and are very much on the point of extinction. Proud warrior race that has had its psyche shattered and undertaking extreme measures to keep itself alive but without all of the hate directed towards others that you'd expect to see in a defeated nation/race (ie Germany post WW1).

@ClocktowerEchos That IC post XD! It tickled my funnybone a little too much and I got weird looks.

Glad to be of service ^^ :p

Or just throw him into one cause he tumbled into one after going there. Who knows? Shrugs

Svegg volunteers to throw him! :D
I should probably mention that the walkers I'm talking about may or may not be Imperial Knight copies from 40k and that the large objects I'm dropping from space may or may not include said notImperial Knights.
@Arawak So basically its the dial-up AOL version of space travel and communications, got it.

That said, are any of the following okay? Just running past some things to sort of get a footing:

- Walkers/Mechs
- Powered Armor
- Genetic Modification
- Prosthetics
- Dropping large objects from orbit
- Feudalism
