I need to be up sorta early tomorrow, what with my tech course, so once I'm done writing with Kymera it's bed time for me.

You know, I've noticed that there seems to be a good number of guests floating around at times - two are in here as I write this.

Also, because I want people's opinions on Endar's new style, here's his spells;

Magical Affinity: Divine, Ancient Magic

• Spell 1: Seraphim - A bolt of pure light that arcs towards its target. It disregards simple armour, and inflicts a sort of holy magic. It can do anything from kill weaker targets instantly, to stunning them in order for an ally to get an opening. It is especially effective on Shades and the Undead. However, Rune-inscribed armour, as it is with all magic, will reduce its effects, meaning the caster must get stronger.
• Spell 2: Draconis - Reaching deep within the caster to find their inner spark, it calls it out and manifests a spectral creature; in Endar's case, the dragon's cousins, drakes. They will go about the purpose they were summoned for - but for the duration of the spell, the caster is overcome with an extreme weakness, and rendered vulnerable to attack.
• Spell 3: The Seal of Light - A spell that calms the mind and soothes the body. It can be aimed towards a singular target, or turned into an aura that sweeps the field, but no matter what, it will heal those under its influence and restore a little of their energy. Endar can only use this sparingly, but he will use it as often as he can.

A Hurried Encounter

Day 1, Morning

The trigger sounded unexpectedly, causing Markus to jolt. Bringing up the camera feed, he saw someone he was completely unprepared for. Megelis, Knight Examplar. Thank the gods he'd decided to install that hidden motion sensor.

But before he could react, there came a knock at his door.

“Markus, I don’t know if you’ve looked at your comms but we’ve got a job, mate.”

"Shoot!" he cursed quietly, and closed the game - Empires 3 would have to wait. He might have been given leave to 'work from home' in the barracks, but that didn't mean he was allowed to skip during his hours. Once he did, he nearly slapped himself - there, on the screen was a blinking red light that indicated a message had been sent.

"Uh, yeah! I just got it!" he replied. "Give me a minute, need to sort out some stuff."

Then, glancing around, he hissed at his virtual companion. "Zoe?! Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was trying my best. However, it seems you were unable to hear me over your game."

...Right. Of course. "Well, then, remind me to give you permission to override my headset's output in the future."

Pressing out the wrinkles in his jacket, he swept some of the untidier things out of sight. Then, darting up to the door, he opened it.

"So, what's the job? The message I got wasn't exactly clear - must've gotten scrambled on its way through my network."
