Bio

Hey, there. Myst here, as you've probably guessed. Can't exactly write in other people's bios, can you? But, you're probably reading this for a reason, so I'll get to it.

I prefer high-Casual and Advanced games, in a medieval, fantasy or sci-fi setting, because that's the sort of nerd I am.

I'm a thinker - I've thought a lot on certain things, and am firm in my beliefs. So you could ask me what I thought about a good few things and I could give a well-reasoned answer. Or a less reasoned answer based on my morals.

TheCharactersOfMyst - This is my storage for past and present characters, and where I might occasionally go for nostalgia and/or recycling a character I've used before.

@Vexxed Vex This campaign uses point-buy. While it can be amazing to have someone roll an 18 or whatever, I use this in most of my online games (though by my own admission this is my first time running a play-by-post). If you're not familiar with point buy, I suggest using this calculator for it.
@Rondo of Blood The Hexblade Warlock class line is more a deal with a powerful being of the Shadowfell, such as the Raven Queen. This is true of all Warlock Patrons; the weapon itself is a manifestation of this particular bond.
Hmm... sounds okay. I'll have to look into it, though. It won't happen for a while, though, so that gives me plenty of time to prepare!
@Rondo of Blood You must enter it at level 4. Though I must say, a Paladin/Warlock sounds... very interesting. How would one balance the terms of their contract and the terms of their oath?
@Vexxed Vex@Rondo of Blood Sorry to tag you yet again, but I'm reformatting the character sheet. For now, please use this one;

Please note that character images, while liked and appreciated, are not required.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity Sorry, sorry! I'm currently looking into some new player recruits. Mists on the Mountain was the character you originally wanted to play, and that's fine! There's a reason the party has NPCs to back them up right now - to fill potential gaps.

@ALL: So, currently the thing looks basically like this;

{CITY} {Road} {Orchard}
Vaal Rhaeyla Surina Sebastian, Sylvana
Cassandra Caw, Lucian Magdar

My graphical skills are amazing, right? This is the aftermath of Round 1. Rhaeyla and Caw are almost there; Surina is on her way to the city. The other three will move next round. This being said, there will be a post from me soon, so if @Vertigo narrates your arrival at the city, then we can essentially skip round 2 and you guys can wait for back up.
@Rondo of Blood@Vexxed Vex Oh! I will also say, if you guys are accepted, you won't be a part of the main group immediately. In this case, you should change 'how did your character meet Sebastian/Cassandra?' to 'What was your first day in Greenrest like?' or 'What were you doing before the attack began?'

Basically, it's the same concept. 'A day in the life of X' - you've recently arrived in the town of Greenrest. Your purpose there could be similar to the others - you were hired as a bodyguard to protect a merchant or noble on their journey into town. Maybe you're just on your own journey. Or you could have had your own reasons - come up with your own, or ask me for a special one. And then the dragon and an unknown army attacks.
@Rondo of Blood For multiclassing, I personally go by these rules;
You must qualify for all of your stat requirements. If you are a cleric wanting to dip into rogue, you must have 13 WIS and 13 DEX.

You must reach a minimum level of 3 in order to multiclass once. If you want to multiclass again, you need to have a minimum level of 6 (combined, so it could be cleric 4/rogue 2).

I'd also like to advise you that if you are planning on doing a spellcaster/martial build, don't go with Barbarian. Barbarians cannot cast spells whilst raging, and since that's something you want to be doing as often as possible, maybe stay away from that. (Also stops you from needing to spread yourself too thin - Barbarians need STR, DEX and CON, and Warlocks need CHA. A Fighter just needs STR or DEX.)

@Vexxed Vex We're still open, yeah! The current party consists of a kobold storm sorcerer, a kenku rogue/eventual arcane trickster, an aasimar monk (in my own personal headcanon, they're hard to distinguish from humans), and potentially a tabaxi war cleric, though the player in question may be changing that.
@Rondo of Blood Please let me know when you have a character application! If you need any assistance, don't hesitate to ask.
Hi! Applications have been reopened, as due to the potential withdrawal of some players, we now find ourself lacking a tank. In the case that you would like to apply, please consider playing one of the following classes: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian.

I would like to stress that the character example sheet is an example of a high end character. I do not expect more of you than what can be provided.
