Bio

Hi.

I'm an Interdiscplinary BA, searching for a job in the current market, and this site has been my introduction to role-play. I prefer medieval and/or sci-fi roleplays and am a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, RWBY, Fire Emblem Awakening, Superheroes, and Fairy Tail.

"OK then, any summons for help will be heard by every servant and clearly be a signal. Probably should keep those to major emergencies then. A gaggle of curious or panicked servants have never worsened a problem or hidden a spy before." Gwen replied, her snarkiness laid on thick. Then she shrugged, "Maybe we can figure out signals less alarming later. On the potion idea, I agree with Kerylun. I think the royals would be more use awake myself. Only use the sleeping potion if they get over-hysterical and won't calm down. Otherwise, try to use them on any infiltrators you apprehend, we do need some alive to question. And if that's all, we should meet up with the royals." Then with a flourish of her cape, Gwendolyn walked towards the king's presence chamber with her teammates hopefully behind her.
@Holy Soldier Good luck to you.

I was just making sure with regards to the servants.

Sorry, @Fetzen but Kerylun will have to spy from the gargoyles.
I'm waiting to post something for Ginny until there is some game or activity for her to join into.
@Holy Soldier

Is there any atypical races such as gargoyles servants in the castle already? Right now, I'm only picturing human and maybe elf servants (or Gwendolyn could just hide her elvishness and pretend to be human if they are only human servants).

Gwen chuckled at the image of the "accident-prone" gargoyle falling into suddenly revealed passages , then whispered as she walked, "Go ahead and do that while I investigate the servants. The passages would be here from the days when sieges were common and the royal family might need an escape out of the castle, so be careful of what could be in there beside impostors. Try to stay within hollering range though in case you need assistance, I could probably sneak away easily enough. What animal sound can you make? That could be our signal. Also, as you go about your 'accidental' discoveries, please don't break anything too expensive. The king might take all damages out of our reward."

Then the elf turned to Shama, "Any more thoughts? What animal sounds can you do? If the king keeps you and the other royals in the castle, a signal for if anything goes wrong on your end would be a good idea."

"We would of course have to ask the king's permission if we were to take the queen and princess completely out of the castle." Gwendolyn replied. "The two main problems that we'd need to deal with if we aren't given that permission is that there are duties for the royals to perform separately at the castle and one guard cannot be in two places at once, and that the imposters know the turf better than us and probably know the forgotten secret passages which probably would have at least one lead to whatever room we kept the three of you in most the time. Then, they could complete their objective while the other members distracted you with a frontal attack. Taking the two royals out of the castle would take away the imposters' turf advantage and could help lure out some of the gang by forcing them to search for the queen and princess. If we could be absolutely sure that the queen and princess would stay together during this time and that whatever room we used for the three of you did not have any hidden passages to it, then there would be no need to remove them from here. She sighed, "But there's no way to absolutely guarantee that.

"First things first, meet up with the royals and make sure none of them have already been kidnapped while we've been planning here. The royals know there's three of us, so we might as well first assure them that we all three came. Then ask the king if we could either take the queen and princess within a bird's flight away from the castle so that Kerylun can fly us to you if we need to warn you or converse with you, thanks for the offer by the way, Kerylun, and to say that the queen and princess are visiting the queen's family at this time or to place the queen and princess within a room where he can be absolutely certain that there is no secret passage or something of that sort. Double check still, Shama. Also, see if the royals know or can be taught any self-defense. After that, I can grab a maid outfit and blend in. I wouldn't worry too much about staying absolutely still, Kerylun. People don't generally look up, unless there's there's an unnaturally loud noise up there or if they're consciously looking.

Then Gwen pulled her hood over her head, hiding her face. "Well, let's get going. Can't stay here all day. Then she started walking towards the royal chambers, waiting for the others to catch up and willing to whisper about last minute questions or details.
@Holy Soldier

She'll plan too.

Gwendolyn smiled at the orc, "Sorry, but no. I'm no mind reader, at least as of right now. This will have to be done the hard way then. Your suggestion is good to watch while we investigate, but first," The elf looked around to perceive if anyone was listening.

Then she whispered on," Maybe we should all check on the queen and princess's current accommodations first. If they're separate at all during this time, one guard won't work. If the king gives us full carte blanche to guard them, then we might want to smuggle the queen and princess out of the castle entirely and keep them in a secure place with you watching them, the official explanation being they went to a cousin or something and us three being the only ones who know where the two actually are, and the two royals once they get there and maybe the king if he insists. Then Kerylun and I can sneak back in and scout around the castle together. I can pretend to be a new maid and you, no offense, could blend in among the gargoyle statues, give a bird's eye view of the what's going on and maybe overhear if anyone whispers in the rafters, a secret passage goes through the top, or something. If the king doesn't agree with the idea, then we might have to improvise and make sure the princess and queen both are guarded 24/7 while also taking any chance to seek the imposters though you, Shama, would still be the only obvious guard while we disguise ourselves as we would if the first plan had been implemented."

Gwen then paused, ""Any questions or suggestions? Is the whole idea bad?"
Back now. @Holy Soldier Gwendolyn, reporting in for duty as guild leader, sir.
@Fetzen

That's alright Fetzen. I just tend to get a little impatient sometimes.

Note to everyone:

I'm going to be busy with family this weekend, trying to be computer silent for that time.
