Bio

Hi.

I'm an Interdiscplinary BA, searching for a job in the current market, and this site has been my introduction to role-play. I prefer medieval and/or sci-fi roleplays and am a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, RWBY, Fire Emblem Awakening, Superheroes, and Fairy Tail.

No problem! I'm really glad you're doing better! Will this be a regular post or are you planning to enter the Christmas shenanigans? If the latter I can hold off Toyman's arrival.

I plan to join the Christmas Shenanigans, but I could have Manhunter join after things get started.

Hey, how are you feeling?

I'm doing better now, thanks. I believe I'll be able to get a post up this week. At the latest, I'll seek to get a post up by Sunday.
Thanks you all for your patience. I'm feeling well enough that I should be able to get a post up this week.

I'll seek to get a post up by Saturday at the latest.
So, yeah, my goal is to make Mr Banjo, literally, the worst guy ever.

That is great.

However, I might just not mention the Gala. We're planning to re-fit that to still work without the Emma Frost aspect.
Sorry that my posts are going to be delayed. I seemed to have developed bronchitis.
Sorry, I'm probably going to be delayed in posting here for a bit. I seem to be dealing with bronchitis and it's going to be hard to write up anything at this point.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Dr. Martin Aster Schrier, PhD

Martin jerked in his seat. He was being called for the first landing on an alien ship? He supposed his specialty could easily suit the position, but to be the first to land...He couldn't wait! He swallowed back the excitement though, saluted the captain and first officer, then walked quickly out of bridge, managed to wait patiently down to the main hallway, then he rushed to his cabin and started scrambling about. The astro-recorder, where was the astrocorder?! The boarding parities were officially being called and he couldn't be late! Drawers were opened and closed, the closet was rifled through, no luck. He then started under his bed, scrambling through the boxes under there. His hand then rested on the civilian pistol he'd brought aboard.

He paused. From what he heard on the Bridge, the ship was most likely abandoned. However, they weren't sure what was causing that strange energy reading. Still, there was going to be two teams of marines. Everything should be fine if anything goes wrong...Though there was always the chance...He swallowed, drew away for a bit, then took up the gun and holstered it to his belt. Some tension immediately drained from his shoulders. If nothing else, he could now defend himself. However, he still couldn't do his job well if he didn't have that astrocorder...Oh, there it was! He pulled it out from further under the bed. That's right, he hadn't thought he'd be sent out so soon so he'd thought it safe to store it under here. Well in this case, he was glad to be wrong. He slipped the astrocorder's strap over his shoulder and placed it over the opposite hip from his gun. There, all ready. If they'd need air supplies, that would be provided. Oh, one more thing. He went to his desk, picked up a small box, and opened it up. Inside was a metal disc on a chain. One side showed a compass, though 'true north' didn't truly register on a ship. The other, an astrolabe. Then along the edges were etched swans in flight, carefully carved. He swallowed, then slipped it over his neck and placed it under the uniform. Likely would be absolutely useless. Still, it wasn't like it would do any harm to bring it along as well.

And with that, he headed out the door and to where the boarding party gathered, clutching his astrocorder close but otherwise walking with perfect poise. He then stood by the wall, observing the other arrivals and trying to gauge them silently while also awaiting further orders. He may as well get to know the other crew members he'd be sharing this first boarding experience with.
I'm going to at least lurk and see if I have the mental bandwidth to join in by the time things actually get started.
