@Torack I do want to pass the idea off you on one more thing; I would like my character to either be missing an eye or his eye being damaged and blind in one side. So essentially having an injury as described in the DM Guide, I think it's flavorful despite meaning a penalty to something like perception.
basically I just like the flavor of variant human, I want to give my fighter martial adept to play off his advanced years as warrior

playing Triangle Strategy, lovin' it.
@Torack so is this a campaign set in an original world or normal Forgotten Realms world? Original world I think, anyways...I already have a character in mind, the grim fantasy of this gave me the urge to go back to my roots of playing the gruff greatsword wielding fighter.
