I will say for the purposes of this game, the Surface Level Gossip includes the fact that Yuan-Ti are very intelligent...potentially dangerously so. He's even heard that Yuan-Ti parents teach their children to not feel emotions (full on dissuade them from feeling emotions), in order to make sure that their actions are not influenced by said emotions.

On another topic I pre-ordered Neverwinter Nights 2 for PlayStation, so that'll be fun. Also just writing something up ATM but I'm out and on my phone so when I get home I'll hop on my puter then get that delicious post up

How much does the average person know about Yuan-ti other than bias and right out distrust. No trying to sabotage, Gabe wouldn't likely know all that much about snake people but on the off chance he must have heard about the people. Maybe off handed gossip at a tavern or the like.
