Clay smiled at the girl, his lips curling into a taunting sly grin as his eyes pierced hers, giving her a look that said he fully understood what her glare had meant.
After all he was not unfamiliar with it, it was a look he received quite often.
And it almost appeared he enjoyed it.

"Ayeka Rain." He says softly to himself tasting the sound of her name. His devilish smile never leaving his lips. He turns around for a moment to fetch the keys from a draw. After the jingling stops he turns back and places a brass key onto the counter, on it is inscribed a large '8'.

"Should be a good room, hasn't been used in quite a while. Any specifics for your meal?"
The worlds too big, everyone is writing their own story, there's no hooks or events to draw people together.
The're not creating it on the their own so the GM's need to guide it.

That can be hard because everyone is districts apart.
There should be a pre-requisite in character creation how you know at least two other characters, forcing character collaboration.

I don't think flooding the RP will get the results but at the same time you need dedicated players.

If I was GM'ing this I would look at throwing some NPC's at players to rebuild interest, then try tie the individual stories together.
Just thoughts :/
@Orlan

Clay slaps the counter with his dish cloth and picks out a toothpick from a nearby bundle. Placing it in his mouth he plays with it, rolling it around his lips as he leans on the bar and eventually replies.

"as much as I'd love to be your little errand boy," he says with full sarcasm "no one's seen the boss for a couple of days now."
He looks at the note like its diseased. Then with a shake of his head he continues.
"sorry, so can't help ya there."
The chair collapses but he pays it no thought.

"Anything Ican do for anyone? Room? meal?" he asks.

Welcome all! XD

Sorry forgot to tag names in my post.
If a good bartender was a jolly man who greeted his customers with a smile and a warm welcome, tending to their orders with a professional haste and priority, well then Clayton was not a good bartender. Not today anyway.

He leant lazily against the back counter, dish rag in one hand as he very tedious and painfully went through the motions of drying a tray of drinking glasses. His eyes followed the tattered girl who entered first, a slight curiosity swelling within but he did not move.
Even after the entrance of a second patron with his proud note and the collapse of the odd large creature, Clay still showed little interest or care.

He checked the note, grumbled to himself and allowed the man to take a bottle and glass. When finally given an order Clay moved like it was some great big effort. Throwing the dishrag over his shoulder he pours a straight whiskey and an OJ with ice into two separate glasses and slides them over to the tired man.

"you wanna ruin a perfectly good whiskey, that's fine and up to you, but I won't do it."
A shocked look steals his face as he focuses on the angel that just healed him.
"You, you're an angel!"
He exclaims excitedly, rubbing his eyes. He then proceeds to politely ask
"Whats your name?"

Avarius ponders for a moment then twists his gaze back to the man.
"Can anyone summon angels? Could you teach me to summon angels!? Pleeeeeeaaase!"
@olcharlieboi

Avarius was in slight awe at the magic he just witnessed, of course stories had been told of it but he always imagined them to be over exaggerations. But there it was, undeniably, in all it's glory, right in front of him. It took his mind away from the terrible pain radiating through his body.
Amazed at the speed and proficiency of the magic, and at the ease in which the nurses performed it, Avey failed to notice a nurse approach him from the side and slip the smooth gentle warm skin of her hand delicately around his.

Startled by her touch he jumped slightly in his bed, this was followed by a yelp of pain as his body disagreed with the motion.
With gritted teeth and blushing red cheeks he looked at the cute young girl beside him as she started to do her thing. There was a soft tingling in his hand that slowly spread up his arm and throughout his body. He felt slightly dizzy and elated at the same time as a numbness washed away his pain just before his bruises vanished from his skin and his bones mended back in place.

It should have been painful, it wasn't, but it still sounded and looked horrifying.

A sweet taste filled his mouth and he could feel the experience coming to an end. As the girl released his hand a huge breath escaped his lungs along with all the sensations her touch had brought. He was left with but a dull ache in place of the once excruciating pain.

He decided to quell the doctors boredom and his own curiosity with one strike.
"How do they do that? How can I learn to do that?" He asks with a fierce eager determination.
@olcharlieboi
Wasn't sure what's common knowledge and what isn't.
Surely if such healing is available people have heard about it.

Avarius will defiantly ask about it and show interest in my next post.
Wouldn't mind learning some.

Personally I didn't think there was any non human beings or magic, only summoning.
