See when it comes to ship based RP I'm really a 'floor plan' kinda guy. I like to know where my bunk is in relation to everything else. Room sizes/layout ammenities. Ect.

Fallout! (Sandbox)

So with the excitement of Fallout 76, until the BETA is released, I wanna have a go at 'leaving the vault'.

I was thinking we use standard SPECIAL for stats.
There could be multiple vaults depending on the number of players.
Each vault offers a unique 'perk' or 'bonus'.
GM gives out lvl's and players decide on their own bonus.

There will be factions and monsters, raiders and trading. Base building. All sorts.

Open to suggestions and ideas!

Im not sure if I'm happy with this concept yet..

Name: Ryder
Race: Horned human? (he doesn't know.)
Sex: Male
Appearance: As image. In his late teens.
Backstory:
Abandoned on a doorstep as a baby, Ryder does not know much of his true heritage. He has had an affinity for magic and monsters for as long as he can remember. He is not sure if his horns are part of his biology or simply a side effect of his magic. Either way they have always caused him to be treated different. Of all the races he could be he is neither one nor the other. Despite his adopted parents trying their best to look after an unexpected child, the world remained cruel to Ryder.
Motivation? Well that's easy. He has a deep seeded desire to obtain knowledge and will do what ever it takes, use what ever he can, step over who ever he has to, to find and uncover the secrets of magic.
Personality: Quiet, calculative, serious, short tempered, arrogant and selfish.
Skills: While physically capable, he is nothing extraordinary. He fights with calculated technique and every deceptive advantage possible. Knowledge is power. He has a good grasp off written history and knows many languages.

• Beasts within (spell)
  
  _{Ryder believes that everyone has a darkness within them and this spell brings it out, making a monster out of a man. It works on creatures too. Bolstering their physical abilities to their peak while diminishing their ability to reason and think.}
• Commune with the wild(ability)
  
  _{As in the name, this ability allows Ryder to understand and give simple directions to a wild animals on the level as though it were a pet. At this point it's just a basic primal understanding of one another.}
• Copy cat (spell)
  
  _{By touching, being struck by, or generally becoming familiar with a creatures unique physicality/ability Ryder can replicate it to a degree. This is a high drain on his mana as he is forcing his body to do or be something different.}
• Efficient healer (passive)
  
  _{Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Ryder doesn't know why but his blood heals up all small scrapes and bruises pretty darn quickly. He has also learnt it can help heal others too.}
• Summon Familiar: (spell)
  _{By far his most favourite and used spell. It kept him company when no one else would. To create a small creature out of nothingness and share a unique and powerful connection with it.}

Inventory: Growing up in a life of poverty, Ryder has never really had much except for his magic and a thirst for knowledge. Right now he is carrying around nothing more than his simple clothes, a mostly empty coin pouch and an old rusted pocket knife that was used to pin a letter to the door he was left at.

[*Notes*A product of the now-defunct Bishop Aerotech, Remora-18 is a Lamprey class boarding vessel originally designed to carry troops to an enemy ship during deep-space battles. The specialized support craft was built to withstand heavy fire while approaching its target, and then magnetically attach to the enemy hull. At this point, the breaching bore on the bottom of the Remora would burn through the hull and establish a seal – allowing the boarding party to enter and take control of the enemy vessel. A couple of the rookie members originally tried to paint Satanic designs and profanity on the hull but the gang leader had that removed when he realized it was warning off potential prey. Now the ship will often try to pose as an official inspection ship, or a vessel in distress, in order to get closer to possible victims. These craft saw limited use in the last war as they became a prime target while making their approach towards the enemy target. Slow and unmaneuverable compared to a starfighter, a loaded Lamprey was dangerous enough to draw fire from every fighter jockey in range. So, even with their strong armor, it was often considered a suicide mission to board one of these ships. Still, Remora-18 is developing a sinister reputation as the group is ruthless and brutal - enjoying the suffering of their victims as much as the monetary spoils of their endeavors. Sometimes two or three Lamprey would be sent in concert in the hopes that one could get through and deliver its troops as, when one did, the havoc wrought by a heavily armed and armored contingent of marines was considerable. The soldiers who successfully carried out these boarding actions became some of the most respected in the service. On all the interior maps, each square is equivalent to 5 ft (or 2m depending on your game).

Your review was coming, so I guess that pushes it along faster. I guess the easiest way to put it is I will be declining your character. I just don’t particularly think the content provided (generally personal history) is something I want to approve going forward. The quirk also felt like just a dragon-touched version of Dark Shadow, which didn’t do the CS itself any favors when Pirouette and I discussed it at length.
