Fighting Style
C.Q.C. or Close Quarters Combat. Basically, Danny knows how to fight using a combination of hand-to-hand combat, knife fighting and gunplay at close range. His training pretty much prepares him for more sensitive situations like hostage situations or storming a defended area.

Strengths
Cool, calm and collected (during a mission anyways), Danny knows how to handle a crisis that goes further than simply fighting your typical supervillian. He knows how to switch tatic's when stealth, planning and reconniasnce is needed rather than an all-out fight.

Weaknesses
Despite his training, Danny has trouble using longer range weaponry accurrately even with his powers. While he can use pistols, knife's and his bare hands with his C.Q.C. fight style, anything past a pistol size (or past SMG size since he started practicing using SMG's) or longer than a knife still give him problems.

Pretty much anything MSU assigns to him based on the mission or wherever they send him.

Power

Strengths
Though classified, those within MSU would tell you this. Danny is half wolf or half lycanthrope if you will. Even if it's only half, Danny still benefits since it put him on a "super soldier" level overal. Strength, speed and endurance. The usual. But what got enhanced in particular was his senses. His hearing, sight and smell in particular can help Danny be more aware than your average human.

Weaknesses/Limitations
Danny can exaust himself from using his power for too long. Normally, when he's NOT using his lycan abilities, his eyes are a normal brown color. But when he goes into Lycan mode, his eye color changes to yellow. A clever opponent could spot this and wait for the change depending on the situation. His hearing, sight and smell can also work against him depending. If, say, a real bad smell, a loud noise at the wrong time or a bright enough light to his eyes while in Lycan mode can stun, knock him out or even stop the Lycan mode if the opponent's timing is right.

For those well-informed on MSU though, there are rumors that float around some of it's members. In the case with K Nine, there's a story that says he was born human but was suffering from some disease. What disease is unknown but it kept him from leading a normal life. It was because his human parents were military that they volenteered Danny for some "super soldier" experimentation. What exactly happened afterwards is unknown but it's assumed the process was TOO successful since it turned Danny into a half lycan. Now disease free but turned mutant, he now owe's his life and loyalty to MSU or so the story goes.

Aikido. A japanese martial art that Yoichi studied first and foremost. Yoichi mainly studied it since she tries to avoid using serious lethal force on her opponent should she go hand-to-hand with such individuals. Basically, she knows how to step in, turn to avoid attack and turn her opponents momentum against them using throws and joint locks. But if she has no choice but to get lethal, she's also familiar with various long range sniper rifles and smg's.

Strengths
A natural born leader and tatician, Yoichi usually is called upon to lead a squad should the need arise. Otherwise, she's usually long range support either with weapons, gadgets, her laptop, etc. She also knows her way around PC's so hacking is another ability of hers.

Weakness
Even though Yoichi knows Aikido and SMG usage as a weapon, close range combat can be a problem for her depending on who her opponent is. In a world with mutant superpowers and since Yoichi doesn't have superpowered endurance, speed and strength, such opponents may give her trouble if they get close enough to her or if they know superior fighting styles. She's more brains than brawn. Plus, she sort of over relies on her gadgets sometimes if she's fighting a mutant.

Strengths
Though classified, Yoichi has a healing factor. A rather well-known mutant trait since she isn't the only mutant in the world that has the ability. Any injury she suffers can quickly heal itself depending on how server the injury. Minor injuries like cuts and bruises may need only seconds or a minute to fully heal. Major injuries though, like broken bones, may need anywhere to an hour or more to fully heal. She can even regrow limbs if they are cut from her body but THAT process would require a whole day to repair. Plus said limb would need more time to restore it's orginal muscle mass before the cut. The process is quicker if Yoichi stops and rests to allow her body to catch up and focus more on the process.

Weaknesses/Limitations
As Yoichi herself knows, just because you have a healing factor doesn't mean your invincible. A headshot with a bullet or piercing her heart can still put her down like any normal person. Even though she has a mutant healing factor, she doesn't have the super strength, speed and endurance of one. She's still human in those areas. The healing factor can also be a very painful process depending on the injury. The pain from repairing a major injury or a lost body part can keep her from even moving or focusing properly during a fight. It can even be overtaxed if consistent damage or a powerful attack hits her hard enough to stop it. If she's exausted, it won't even work at all so time, rest and energy is also needed in some extreme cases.

Vermin Roach stands around 5'8". His weight is unknown but he looks slender. But in appearance, it can be hard to call on since he's always wearing long clothing to conceal himself. This usually includes a jacket with a hoodie attached to cover his head and most of his face and rest of his upper body. Usually wears either sweatpants or jeans. Sneakers. If he finds them, he even wears gloves of various kinds.

Personality
Whenever someone has the chance to actually talk to Vermin Roach, he sounds like he doesn't care. It's hard to pin down a persona on him but due to his occupation, he just cares about the business and nothing more if you should ask anyone else who's spoken to him before. He never insults or praises whoever he talks to but once in awhile, he may if his "client" seems either threatening or nervous around him. But if there IS someone who goes after him or threatens his life, he will act intimidating and creepy.

Origin
Vermin Roach. In the criminal underworld to even government agencies, there isn't a soul that doesn't know that name. A man with perhaps a mysterious and even gross habits and power, many a common thug to even a higher up crime lord would even tell you to never cross this guy and keep it professional whenever he's involved in some business deal. Not because he's a fighter.

But because of his ability to get information from almost anywhere within city limits or wherever he is.

Other than being a Information Broker and mutant, not much is known of the personal history of Vermin Roach. Nobody even knows his real name or how he physically looks. Rumors, however, are always whispered where ever he goes. One says he's a walking mutant experiment gone wrong. Another says he was born what he is and was shunned by even his mutant parents. And yet another with the typical comic book plot device "thug in the wrong place at the wrong time".

And yet there's no denying that wherever he goes, chaos usually follows. Villains, heroes, vigilantes or whatever. It doesn't matter who or what you are. If you need information and you have the money, physical or electronic, or even something he desires, Vermin Roach will do his part and get the detailed information you need. From pin numbers and passwords to secret identities, he'll go to many lengths to satisfy his customer.

With complete disregard for the consequences...

Since he never stays in one place for too long, Vermin Roach knows how to adapt to any place he stays from a normal apartment to a hole in the wall if necessary and so long as it's indoors. He knows how to cook. And while he's no hacker, he knows his way around general PC usage so he'll know if he's being hacked or someone is watching his activities. He frequents the "dark web" for possible job requests as well.

Combat

Fighting Style
Vermin Roach isn't exactly what you call a fighter. He rather use blackmail and intimidation than actual physical combat. But that's only if someone goes looking for trouble on him. Other than that, he's known to be an untrained street fighter/knife fighter.

Strengths
Smart and clever. If possible, Vermin Roach always have a backup escape route in case someone corners him. He can quickly memorize a location and possible escape routes should the need arise. And because of his profession, he knows how to manipulate information to his advantage.

Weakness
The obvious. He's not a fighter of any kind. And while a mutant with the slight overall physical mutations, a well-trained human can beat him. And though he knows when he's being hacked or observed electronic's wise, he can't stop it. He can arm himself with any weapon he buys from either the black market or the dark web but it'd be for self defense purposes only.

As stated, anything that he finds or buys.

Power

Strength
It's this "gross" power that gained him the name Vermin Roach and the reputation to go with it and his position as information broker. He can control cockroaches. It's unknown how many but up to a range of 10 yards, he can control whole armies of them at once. He even grants them a nasty ability to drain a target of their natural energy should enough of them make skin contact to the point of physical exhaustion of said target. Other times though, he just has them fly around and distract a target or even intimidate anyone trying to start trouble. After 10 yards though, he can only control one at a time. But the distance to control one is said to be city wide. He even can "look" from the roaches perspective: sight, smell, touch and even feel pain if they experience it. It's even said that, as a swarm, he can see all around him through his mind. It's because of this ability that allowed vermin roach to effectively do his job as information broker.

Weaknesses/Limitations
The obvious one as stated before is that he's no hand to hand fighter. If you manage to get past his "army", block his escape routes, blackmailing and intimidation factors and get him to fight, your odds of winning are good. His power can be disrupted too. Like a real roach, sudden bright lights turning on can makes them all scatter. Heck, enough firepower can stop his army too. Himself included and he'll run fast. He also need low-lighted settings because of this. Sewer systems, abandoned buildings with no light and only going out at night shows how much he avoids bright areas due to sensitive eye sight. He doesn't know yet but Vermin Roach also believes that any mutant or special device that can block mind reading or TK based powers can also stop his control over roaches but he's yet to test that theory. And when he's only controlling one roach at a time past 10 yards and beyond, he can feel it's pain too as stated. If that roach is killed and he doesn't break the mind link soon enough, he'll either feel agonizing pain or knocked out for a bit.

Extra
Vermin Roach, because of his occupation and abilities, has also made some powerful enemies. One of which is MSU. It's said that due to his powers and personality, MSU has declared him a "danger to national security" and has a rumored bounty on his head.

@DarkRecon You're good to go with the werewolf character. Looking forward to what he comes up with, with little bro' Maksim.

However, the second character has too many abilities and magic isn't up for discussion in the world, especially from MSU agents. It doesn't exist, (I am aware that it isn't actually magic). You put a lot of work into the character, but I am afraid I can't accept someone with that range of abilities, both elemental and healing. I stated that you could have one mutation with other abilities/passive abilities directly related to that one ability. Ice, lightning, fire, and healing doesn't work, I'm afraid.

Strengths
Though classified, Yoichi has a very...unique power. She can use a "spellbook" to summon fireballs, iciles and electricity from her hands for long range attacks and even use some healing on herself or others around her. What's never fully understood is if this is a mutant power or legit "magic". Yoichi even says that she's also trying to learn new "spells" as well. MSU has classified the answer if Yoichi is a mutant or some sort of "mage" or "wizard" but even amonst MSU members, it's always a popular topic for debate. She can even control the fire, ice or electricity into ball shaped projectiles around her as if she's using her mind or some form of kinektic power.

Weaknesses/Limitations
Yoichi actually mumbles some gibbish some of the time when she summons her element of choice around her. It's also one of several reasons why some think she's using legit magic but some think it's just an act or a way for her to focus her energy into the attack. So it is possible to hear the attack in general getting set up when she mumbles something you don't understand. Plus her "spells" are limited to those three elements and healing. Not alot of variety at the moment with her powers. Plus, while she can surround herself with her projectiles and control them, she can't put them very far ahead before they harmlessly drop to the ground. When she launches them away or pushes them too far from her, she's no longer in control of them. As stated, she's more long range support than close range despite knowing Akido.

Another is that she's the daughter to mutant parents who both had pyro, cyro and electro based kinesis and healing factors. Yet another says that a branch in Japan was breeding and training "mages" to help keep mutants in check. It's unclear though what's fact and what's fiction with Yoichi at the moment.

Souls of Steel: A Giant Mecha RP

Maria

For Maria, even under a new mind set, combat on this level isn't anything new to her. But she also knew something else that she told no one else.

With a new mind set, a new sync and perhaps a new way to look at things, she was about to experience something new.

But if "Seven" and even Elora herself felt that this was for the best for her...

Seeing the fighting start, Maria readied her laser sniper rifle. She was about to take a shot at the turtle Cruxi on her side when she got a call on her comm line.

"Neo Angel! Detonate the thrown Cruxi or give me some cover!"

"...Understood! Be advised! My L.S. Rifle may pack a kick to whatever you have planned!", Maria responded to cadet Anastasia.

Seeing what she was attempting to do, Maria stood by, read to fire either at the group of Cruxi she was trying to cluster up or perhaps targetting anything close to her.

Jake

As Jake landed, he immedately dropped to one knee and started taking aim. He then heard the chatter about Paladin taking a bad landing. Just by the sound of Ariin's voice, Jake knew it wasn't good.

"Elise! Palladin's not a hundred percent! I'm going to provide sniper fire for him! Use Rec-1 to highlight anything that goes after him or if Paladin himself targets an enemy Cruxi and I'll give him a hand!"

Holding his current position, Jake set his rifle to energy shots and took aim.

"Also let me know if you need another drone. I got four more left", Jake added to Elise.

Jake sat inside his framework, Weissritter. His eyes were closed. Thinking. Trying to make sure he did his part to keep his team not only safe but aware of the battle conditions, situation and of course, information.

He may not the strongest of his family, the Armstrongs, but he still had enough of the brains to not do anything stupid. To show good teamwork. Synenergy.

Now, with Elise's help, he was going to show it.

"This is Jake Armstrong in the Weissritter. Ready to deploy. Bridge. Is Elise ready to go?", Jake then asked on the comm line.

Jake heard Elise's voice on the other side. "Affirmative! I'm on the bridge, and deplyoing REC-1," she said, a code phrase coined to describe their plan with using the drones. "Whenever you're ready."

"Roger. Stand by. Looks like we still have to sort out who gets the assault packs here. Not me though. Being the sniper and all..."

Jake did trail off a bit there. He just seemed to think about something.

He then switched to a private line so that only Elise and perhaps others in the bridge area could hear them.

"Elise...were on a private line. I just wanted to ask some stuff before we get rough. For me, such a question is out of the blue but...what did you do to achieve a perfect sync with your framework?", Jake then asked.

Elise was quiet for a moment, and then answered: "...It's because of my father." She seemed somber as she spoke those words. "He was the one who built Prometheus, well, at least the important parts of it. Even after mom died, he continued supporting me. I was proud to be her daughter. He has always been there for me...Even now."

"...I see...the bonds that keep us together...to keep us going...makes sense. It's also one of the reasons why many within the military use terms like "may your souls be as strong as steel" or similar sayings leading to that", Jake responded.

Jake was quiet for a few second before he spoke.

"...Elise...I'm sure you've heard about my military family the Armstrongs. But I'm also sure you've heard rumors about a "black sheep" of the family...it's because I didn't quite live up to the military expectations. Sure, I'm perceptive and smart but with my low sync, I'm not exactly the best in the family. And...unlike you, I've had trouble getting along with my family members...well mostly my mom and dad..."

A pause before Jake spoke again.

"Sadly, I couldn't patch things up with my dad...he was K.I.A...and...my mom suffered a rare sync fault against a Cruxi Ace unit that keeps her sync at zero percent no matter what she did. Still, she was re-assigned to a battleship and is now leading it as it's captain and a team of Frameworks on missions currently...but being in a military family...it's tough holding attachments to anything...but I've managed somewhat..."

Jake let out a sigh before he finished his story.

"...after all...in a war as brutal as this and being in a military family, your life expectancy isn't exactly "great"..."

Elise sighed. "I'm sorry to hear that. I bet most people here have sad stories, but yours is one of the worse ones. Yeah, I've heard of the Armstrongs; they're famed for their contributions to the war effort."

"Yep...rain, shine or even blood...we gave it our all for the sake of humanity...though you were wrong when you said that we were nothing more than a stat in general...were actually a stall tatic...from frameworks to cloning like the homonculus...hell, I've even heard a rumor that there are even robots with human feeling being tested in secret...high command is just trying to find something to end this war...but how long before it happens or it ends up biting us in the ass I wonder..."

Taking a deep breath, Jake then said this.

"And not just the Armstrongs...Mai's mother was the one of the few pilots who helped break that mold for a time...and...well you thought my story was bad, Mai's was worse...when her mom was shot down, high command were desperate for someone who had her abilities...they pressured her into framework combat testing...then came the Helldivers...her split personality problem...doing whatever she was told to do...now this..."

Jake then cleared his throat before he said, "The reason I look out for her because she's like family to me. Hell, even her mom was kind to my family members back in the day. But now...she's got all sorts of pressure on her again. A new mind set. A new sync that she's never experienced before...a new outlook on life I suppose..."

Jake was quiet before he then said this.

"Elise. Do me a favor and keep an eye on her for me during this fight. I'm sure you, your busty wingmen and drunk wingmen would even say that just because your perfect sync doesn't mean your invincible. Mai's seen plenty of combat sure but not in this state of mind and not on this sync level."

"Acknowledged," Elise said. "Assuming radio silence. Over."

Still alive all. Also Ariamis. If you read this, I left Jake out of my latest post because he's most likely going to be working in sync through Elise.

So yeah, at some point, I have to get back on Discord and start a possible collab between them at anyone else on the bridge of the NOAH when things get going due to the recon drones and such.
