Yeah. Way to stick it to that Iron Knight jerkbag.. Oh he's standing right behind me isn't he.

Yes. Yes he is.
@nitemare shape: Here are some edits (including fixing the Arachne text)

Arachne (Aubrey Adkins): AJ Michalka / Karen Gillan
comments: Arachne would be, well, interesting to put on the silver screen since she is not entirely a humanoid, unlike most of the characters in this roleplay. Therefore (unless this "movie" is taking place in the IC) Arachne would probably have to be done via CGI, much like the Hulk in the Avengers. They would probably CGI the action scenes but use green-screen magic to get some close-ups. The two provided actresses is really just a contest between who looks the part and who can act the part. While I have no idea if she can do an action movie, AJ Michalka does have the appearance that I imagine Aubrey having.

Iron Knight (Christopher Arthur III): [temporary pick] Peter Facinelli (Supergirl, Twilight...)
comments: While I still have not made a concrete image of what I would like Chris to look like, Peter's performance as Maxwell Lord in the Supergirl television series would at least make me comfortable giving him a shot.

Veronica Arthur (Chris' half sister): Sarah Hyland (Modern Family)
comments: While she might be just a little too old for the part because I picked an actress younger than Sarah to play a character older than Sarah's character. But from what I have seen from Modern Family, I think she has enough sass to pull this part off.

Polemos (Chike Baatul): Idris Elba (Thor, Prometheus, Pacific Rim)
comments: Just another option, @FacePunch
@nitemare shape: I forgot to edit the intro to the Arachne fancast. I narrowed it down to 2 actresses, although it says four.
@FacePunch: Sorry about ruining your childhood. It's not like anything that Transformers have done before.

@Raptorman: What do you think of Cate Blanchett as Soulfire? I am not sure how young you are going for that character, but I think that an actress who has played Galadriel could qualify for that role.

Wait, its Pandora's jar?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora

edit: Just realized that the wikipedia page for Pandora has a, well, typical Greek statue. Looks at your own risk.
I have opened Pandora's jar again, haven't I?
Just putting this out there. The Create a Hero movie's budget would have to be absolutely insane.

That's why Iron Knight would help finance it.
The problem is that Umbraxis isn't base human or base humanoid like most of the characters are. I'd nominate the guy who did Sauron's voice to be the voice of Umbraxis. The original guy who did Sauron's voice in Lotr not the hobbit. So Alan Howard. But that's just for a voice.

I agree with this. Umbraxis would be CGI plus a voice actor.
Also, might as well throw my now edited casting picks up. I hope @Tearstone likes my pick.

Create-A-Hero RPG Live Action Actor/Actress Casting

For these first few, some of you made it extremely easy because you provided an image of an actor or an actress.

Superhero Alias (Real Name): Actor/Actress (films/tv shows that actor/actress were in)
comments: Self-explanatory

Icon (Scot Hunter): Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Tudors)
comments: He would be a good...wait a minute, he's already Superman! But, Henry, you will not have to worry about competing with the Batman here!

Lyger (Kyle Porter): Steven R. McQueen (The Vampire Diaries, Chicago Fire)
comments: According to Google Images, the image provided is Steven R. McQueen. I also replaced the image from last time because NMS thought my last picture made Lyger look wimpy.

Radiance (Alexa Winstone): Ashley Greene (Twilight)
comments: According to Google Images, Ashley Green is the woman in the portrait provided in Calistar's character sheet.

Racheli Lorna Desdemona: Nora Zehetner (Heroes)
comments: With her relatively short performance in Heroes, I would say that Nora could play Rach.

Justine Shepherd: Shailene Woodley
comments: While her eye color does not match the picture that Tearstone provided in his character sheet, but I think her face does patch that image (minus the eye color).

War-Pulse: Sebastian Stan (Captain America movies)
comments: Compare the below image with War-Pulse's appearance in his character sheet and tell me how would this not be the perfect fit?

Raptor (Zac Wilson): [unsure]
comments: It is kind of sad that I know whom I want for his two supporting characters, but I don't have an actor in mind for the main character! Any suggestions would be nice.

Robert Wilson (Zac's Father): Sam Elliot, 10-20 years ago (Prancer, Hulk)
comments: Weird that I cannot pick an actor for Zac, but I can for his dad...

Wasp (Kelly Brown): Milana Vayntrub (AT&T Commercials)
comments: I don't know if she could act in an action movie, but in my mind, she looks the part of Kelly. Also, they would have to omit the part about Kelly growing over six feet tall, but that can be easily over looked. :D Finally, if Emma Stone can play a high schooler, I'm sure Milana can pass for a college sophomore.

Bast (Sammy Kadowsky): Hayley McFarland (Criminal Minds)
comments: This is what happens when you look at the Criminal Minds wikipedia page for each of their seasons. She kind of looks young in this picture, but I assure you that she is 24 (born in 1991). Funny how the story arc that gave Sammy her "powers" was inspired by Criminal Minds, too. :D

Arachne (Aubrey Adkins): AJ Michalka / Karen Gillan
comments: Last, but not least (obviously, because I have four actresses here ). Arachne would be, well, interesting to put on the silver screen since she is not entirely a humanoid, unlike most of the characters in this roleplay. Therefore (unless this "movie" is taking place in the IC) Arachne would probably have to be done via CGI, much like the Hulk in the Avengers. They would probably CGI the action scenes but use green-screen magic to get some close-ups.

The white elephant in the room for this character is that Arachne has the most common super power among super-heroines and the two actresses above would not be able to fill in her "shoes". One way film-makers could get around this is to cast two actresses for the part and do something similar to what Marvel did in the 1st Captain America movie: first, they would cast someone who could fill in Arachne's "shoes" better (I am not confirming or denying whether I actually have a "body double" in mind ). Then, they would shoot scenes with both actresses and in post-production, they would digitally graft the head of one of the above actresses onto the "body double". This would be complicated, but could work.

Now for the two actresses. AJ Michalka. Yes, the girl from the Goldbergs. Previously, I had her at the number #2 slot because I don't know if she can do an action movie. However, I cannot overlook the fact that she has the look that I imagine Aubrey having (Blonde, dark eyebrows, "roundish" facial structure, light eyes). Every time I watch the Goldbergs and when she is on the episode, I always tell myself, "this is the pick". Furthermore, since Arachne probably would use some heavy CGI, any action sequences might not need much work on her part.

Karen Gillan, who has been in both Doctor Who (I think) and Guardians of the Galaxy, is good enough of an actress for a super-heroine role. Yes, yes, I know that Aubrey is blonde and Karen is a red-head, but if they can make Emma Stone Gwen Stacy, I'm sure Karen could change her hair blonde for the "movie" (wow, this is the second time I mentioned Emma Stone AND Gwen Stacy, which is ironic because Spider-Gwen is another blonde-haired spider-themed super-heroine). Also, she would have to fake an American accent.

Last thing. If this movie was being made in the IC, they could have Aubrey herself be the "body double" that I mentioned a few paragraphs ago. Plus, that would save the film company money on CGI. Athena of course would probably disguise Aubrey's face so that no one would actually know she is Arachne.

@Raptorman: I am assuming you mean a "young" William Fichtner, because from my quick google search, he seems to be turning 60 soon. I personally did not have a pick myself, so beggers cannot be choosers.

So I guess in the next day or so I have to figure out a cast for one (or more, if I get that far) of your characters...
