Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

Little time was wasted between the throwing of crates and Aether's comrades rushing forward, however whereas they chose to rush in immediately, Aether took a moment to fully attune herself with Battle Precognition and Force Speed. Though the two had handled themselves well, they still left plenty of Mandalorians between them, for which Aether chose to rush forth before their enemies could regroup. With a swifter step than most due to her faster speed, Aether charged directly into the fray and ignited her blades, before utilizing a saber throw to impale two more Mandalorians. One of the remaining Mandalorians took this opportunity to fire at Aether, however didn't anticipate the blaster bolt being sent right back at him, deflected. As Aether recalled her blades with the force she zipped in close before slashing at the Mandalorian, cutting him down with ease.

The trio managed to take down the remaining Mandalorians together, with Aether's final kill occurring moments before the other two finished their kills, about to rush in and assist before realising they had it under control. She ignored the wretched smell Alessia's technique had spread throughout the area, having smelled much worse gutting what little creatures roamed Valkaina. She was surprised when the sudden surprise attack on Alessia occurred, however the attacker was thankfully dealt with without too many problems. "Does anybody need healing?" Asked Aether bluntly, as she used the technique on herself to heal a wound which had grazed her hip, causing a moderate burn. "Do not worry, this wound is not too serious. It will need a little treatment back on Valkaina, however this will stop it from worsening." It was enough to allow the wound to be covered and stop from bleeding naturally, at least. As the three found their way together once more, Aether listened to Merak's suggestion and nodded in partial agreement. "I can also transcend through locked doors and bypass anything you may not be able, Merak. I believe I would be a valuable asset in our scouting mission." She then turned her attention to Alessia. "That said, we will need to clean up these bodies before we leave, or leave the task to Alessia. It would do us no good to have our enemy raise the alarm at finding the bodies of missing patrols. Radio silence only lasts for so long also, so we will need to be quick. I would suggest us to move ahead and have her hide the bodies, perchance quickly regrouping later, so to save time on both fronts. That, or we do both tasks as a group."

Leaving the padawan amidst a dead patrol team could be considered reasonably safe, though Aether didn't quite want to let her out of her sight, either. Luthor Antilles would likely not want her, as the highest ranking Jedi present, to leave a padawan alone, as she was aware how close Alessia and Luthor were. Thus she hoped that the second option would be their chosen path.

Shyn glared at Jacques as he approached, mustering up a growl toward him. He always was very protective of Kalmia (and possibly now Ren), but it wasn't like him to snap so suddenly. Someone hadn't taken to what Jacques had said very well.

Then again, neither had Ren.

Kalmia and Jacques had gone off onto something of a bragging contest over their trainers, which made Ren feel a little uncomfortable. Her eyes dart between the two as they speak, before finally resting on Jacques, her resting face making her appear more displeased than she really was. Speaking to a member of the Elite Four wasn't something everyone got to do outside the Pokemon League, and this was a rare opportunity to get some information. She decided she would play the game safe and ask a question to counter his own.

"You wouldn't happen to know where I could learn about rare or otherwise legendary Pokemon, do you?" She quizzed with a blank stare, before turning her gaze to the professor. "I wish to study these kinds of Pokemon, something like the professor, however in the field with my Pokemon. They have caught my interest over the years and I strive to meeting Pokemon of rare origin. Additionally, if possible, I wish to learn from them about other rare or legendary Pokemon." She decided not to go any further than that, technically not listing her drive, however hoping that Jacques wouldn't probe her further. Not that she didn't have a backup plan in case he did, mind...
@6slyboy6 Just a tip of the hat to the original story ^-^ I thought it'd be fun to make a possible noblewoman work as a maid ;) See how well that goes :D

As Grian silently suffers, all Emile can do is kneel beside him with a worried look on her face. As he tries to get up, he finds himself collapsing again, and Emile looks as though she's about to cry. "Please, don't over-exert yourself! T-take it easy, please, just for a moment..." Her words were apparently rewarded in her eyes as Grian suddenly rose to his feet, Emile looking up at him, her frown turning upside-down. However, his words were somewhat... discouraging to the young noble. "Oh, umm... OK. Th-thank you, tho- eeek!" Grian suddenly slamming the door causes the young woman's heart to skip a beat, her breathing rapidly accelerating as she begins making assumptions in her mind.

[color=deepskyblue]'Oh no, what did I do...? Did I make him mad? I know he was drunk last night but he seemed really happy - I'm going to have to apologise... W-was it because I called him by his first name...? He could be a noble - I-I should probably address him like one... Ohhh, I just want to get some ice cream and watch anime in my room right about now...'

...

[color=deepskyblue]'Wait... my room...? Anime...?' Emile ponders these things a few moments more, thinking hard as to why they feel so familiar to her, and yet at the same time remain out of her grasp. Saving her from her own thoughts was Barkley, Grian's butler, who inquires as to what she would like. "O-oh, um, m-maybe a water and a sandwich... I-I'm not too hungry, s-sir." She doesn't want to have Grian's hospitality appear taken advantage of, so she attempts to be as modest as possible. In truth she was starving, not quite sure when she last ate, but it she has a feeling it was awhile ago. As she herself gets to her feet, her stomach grumbles uncomfortably. "Actually... please make that three sandwiches, if possible..."

Grian didn't return for awhile, but when he did would find a rather comfortable Emile eating away at her third sandwich with eyes filled with glee. Clearing her throat and washing down the food with water, she gives the butler a bright-eyed stare. "M-Mister Barkley, that was amazing! I don't think I've had a finer food, ever!" There was absolutely zero exaggeration in her tone, though someone who possibly hadn't eaten in days would surely think anything that was done well to be from another world. "I-I must learn how to cook from you, s-sir! I-if it pleased S-sir Grian, I would be more than willing to work as a member of your staff to help compensate for my stay!" It was then that she noticed Grian's presence and nervously finds herself going a light red. He speaks of allowing her a place to stay, an awkward pause occurring between the two, before Grian speaks up again about her missing memories.

Emile simply shakes her head.

"A-all I know for certain, Sir Grian, is that I w-woke up yesterday in the middle of a field... Everything in town felt familiar to me, but when I thought about it more, I b-began to realise I didn't know why. I get other things randomly but I don't quite know what they are, like anime and my room, but everything about them is blank or blurry. I have no idea where I came from..." Though she appears in a somewhat depressed state momentarily, Emile quickly perks right back up. "Oh, but before I forget! Thank you very much for taking me in, sir! Especially since I have no idea who I really am or where I'm from - not everybody would believe such a thing, I'm sure... B-but I'd feel bad if I freeloaded off of you until I knew my origin; I'm not even certain I would have sufficient compensation waiting once I did! Th-therefore, u-umm, I had an idea..." Emile squirms nervously in her seat, starring down at her hands, held at her lap. "I'm afraid I don't know too much outside of some cooking knowledge and clothing... I'm a b-bit of a scaredy-cat and get nervous all the t-time... B-but, I can work really hard and will learn as quick as it takes!"

Suddenly, the young noblewoman stands with a serious look on her face, sweat dripping down her brow. "Sir Grian..."

She gulps, then bows before him.

"C-could you please hire me to work h-here...?"
@6slyboy6 Ahh, you are very much correct, my furry friend! :D I shall get to posting immediately then! So long as I don't get distracted by video games...
@6slyboy6 Wait we have fans? XD I've been at a friend's place since yesterday but I should be heading back in 40 minutes or so ^-^
Sorry for taking so long! No need to wait for me now! ^-^

Spencer

Location:The barracks.
Interacting With:Vamon.

Vamon, as Spencer later discovered he was called, had only arrived in town not too long ago, much like herself. He seemed surprised that Spencer was in her twenties, which was rewarded by a fascinating giggle that may just make him chuckle also, sounding as young as she looked. She continued along their path at Vamon's request, though it really wasn't hard to navigate. The barracks were quite easy to spot, especially with vision as great as Spencer's, so it really was no problem. "Don't worry, everyone says I look young for my age. It actually somewhat runs in the family, so yeah!" Another lie, yes, but this one helped back up her prior lie. She didn't make a plan of lying often, only when it was required.

He spoke of visiting Garden before coming to Shezze, and Ira smiled as she recalled taking the route herself to get to Shezze. "I took that route, too! Though I picked up some stuff from Garden before coming here. I heard of the frozen week and rushed right over to help!" Her head cocked to one side as he spoke of his birthplace of Belizarius, Spencer acquiring a quizzical look to her features. "You're from Belizar?" She asked thoughtfully, before she put on a smile. "Wow! My mother came from there, too! She said it was a very beautiful place, well, more-so than Zalu, anyways, ehehe... That's where I'm from, by the way: Zalu. And as for interesting destinations..." Ira had to pause to think over her response a little. She couldn't let too much information slip, or there could be problems later down the road. "Well, I've been to all towns, as well as Zalu, but nowhere else, really. I'm interested in visiting Astaras to learn some alchemy down the line, though for now I'll stick to selling random tidbits, odds and ends."

... Of course, Spencer often had trouble sticking to her plans at the worst of times...

"O-oh, uh, s-sorry, I think I talked too much, eheee..." With a squeak of a laugh, Spencer bowed her head in embarrassment, before looking right back up again. "Oh, lookie! The barracks!" The young woman extended a hand and pointed to the man standing out front of the well-lit building nearest the abyss. "You don't need me to hold your hand going in there, do you?" Teased Ira with a bright-eyed smile, something a little out-of-character for her, not that Vamon would know that.

Ren listened attentively as professor Kalmia listed off everything she could think of, and took a moment to think. "Mmmh... I think Shyn will need some healing before anything. Then we can worry about going to get something to eat and subsequently going around town. Professor Kalmia? If you would..." The young woman grabbed her Pokeball and released her starter, apologising to the worn out Shinx before she quickly explained that the professor was there to help him heal. At this, Shyn bounced up and down gleefully, and put extra effort into showing off his stylish fur for the professor. "Shyn!"

On the other hand Shyn's trainer found herself in wonder as to what exactly the professor meant by 'Super Contest'. Was it some kind of battle tournament? Or was it something else? Frankly, Ren had never heard of such a thing, and decided it was worth investigating before she and Shyn left later in the day. They'd need some provisions as well, and possibly sleeping equipment. She knew that she likely didn't have enough funds to last her too long, but they would have to make do with what they had and work with it.

Ren sighed, and awaited Kalmia to heal her Pokemon.
Sorry for taking so long guys! Spencer will reply relatively shortly! :D
