Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

Aether kept silent as Merak and Alessia went over the mission details, she herself simply getting a look at her surroundings. She hadn't the opportunity to see places as beautiful as Dantooine much in her life, being raised in the vast expanses of space and Valkaina, so she appreciated a bit of sight-seeing before she got to work. It also helped mentally prepare her for what she may face in the coming mission, seeing as most of the time she did this Aether would get at least a small glimpse into whatever wildlife may be present on any given planet.

Once the details of the mission were out of the way, the two teams split up and went their separate ways, circling round towards the Jedi enclave. The Mirialan continued to keep quiet as they made their way down the ridgeline, Aether following behind Alessia using a similar technique to her, minus a roll. The Blitz Crew made their way inside with their team behind, though both teams were halted by the Mandalorian patrol dead ahead. Alessia laid out her suggestions, and Aether took a moment to think.

'Mmmmmh... Fifteen is a solid number... If we engage, we'll want to deliver our attack swiftly and silently.' Spoke Aether to her comrades telepathically, using the Force to help better everyone's strategy. 'I can knock quite a few down with the Force. Additionally I can make use of my speed and precognition to help dispatch of our foes quickly, though I will require backup. If I become overwhelmed I may knock them down and create a doppleganger to confuse our opponents. Worst case scenario I will fall back and maintain a shield for the rest of you. Unless we can use anything else around or let them pass. For instance, Alessia and I could use those crates you're hiding behind to crush the enemy and initiate the ambush.' Her suggestions implied teamwork, but they also were heavily independent. Though Aether knew this would be a tough situation, she would take it upon herself to rush into the fray before anyone else if it meant protecting her comrades. Just because she didn't wholly trust their capabilities in combat didn't mean she wanted them dead by any means. With her suggestion out of the way, she kept her telepathic link open in case anyone else on the team decides to voice their ideas.
@6slyboy6 No worries, I'll do my best to carry us forward! :P
@PlatinumSkink Dang it! It's almost too plain! :D Will reply tonight hopefully!
@6slyboy6? :D Or am I retarded and do I need to reply? :3

Ren sighed thankfully. 'Thank God... He understands reason, at least...' She didn't react too much to Oaken's little glare, herself responding with a mere nod of her head, a silent conversation having passed through actions. As he turned and left, Rodger went and said his piece before admitting he, too, had a lot to learn. The two would apparently be tag-teaming the beginning of their journey; if Ren was entirely honest with herself, she wanted that deep down, too...

'And he understands he has more to learn. Good. They'll become decent trainers, I suppose.'

Of course, Ren wasn't very good at being honest with herself.

When professor Kalmia spoke, Ren turned and nodded again in understanding. "Of course. I don't plan on breaking the rules for matches that are worth the time, or which are bound by rules. I'm not that stupid, fortunately." Surprisingly she smirked and recalled Shyn, noting how tired he seemed to be getting. She wanted him healed, but she also wanted to see the town some. "Thank you for the Pokeballs, Professor. As it so happens, there is one last thing I'd like to ask: is there anything particularly interesting in Pureplain? As in Pokemon centers, gyms, libraries, monuments, things to do and places to see, etc.? I'd like to know what's around before I set out. It wouldn't make much sense to leave town without trying to experience everythi-"

Ren was interrupted by the rude sound of her stomach growling...

"... And where the nearest, cheapest place to eat would be, thank you..."

It was a first to see Ren's face go such a deep shade of pink for those present still. Thankfully for her, Lucian seemed like he didn't mind. "I-I planned on heading that way myself. To Lakewatch, where I may hopefully reach Dragon Lake. I think we'll see one-another soon..." With that the young man turned and left, and Ren returned her gaze to Kalmia, awaiting her response.

Spencer

Location:The Square, headed to the barracks.
Interacting With:Vamon.

The light conversation was enjoyable between periods of timeless reading. Some of those Spencer can recall selling foodstuffs to pass on by and thank her for her dirt-cheap supplies, to which she merely says she would do it all over again if it meant they could get by. Spencer knew how tough it was on the residents during The Cold Week, and if she was ever there during such an event she'd sell off her goods to them for a majorly discounted price. Not that she already did that, mind, but more than usual, just to help the town out. It made her feel good inside, since she knew it was what her mother and father would have liked her to do...

As the last of the wandering folk disappeared into the tavern, Ira was left to her lonesome once more, and had finished reading several chapters in her philosophical text. It was a book preserved from humanity's time on the surface, and thus had a great deal of interesting concepts within: countries, cultures, ideals, ways of life. It was a doorway into the past, and Spencer was gobbling it up with a stupid-looking grin on her face. Everything about the world beyond just sounded so fascinating! Unfortunately, it also sounded incredibly scary...

Speaking of incredibly scary...

“That’s a rather difficult book.”

A presumably young man had walked up to her, and caused Spencer's jaw to drop. The smell of sulfur was like a kick to her nostrils, and his apparel indicated he was something of a scoundrel. Ira gulped, fearing she might be getting mugged.

Though the sentences which followed seemed to put her heart at ease some more.

"Oh, you need the barracks...?" Asked the young-looking girl meekly, getting to her feet and closing her book. She dusts her butt and smiles nervously at the young man, putting the book back into her pack. "I can help you there and back, if you need. I... haven't seen you around before. Are you new here?" Though the young man still made her feel a little nervous, Ira has this thing where she grows more confident the more she talks. Also considering it was only a one-to-one conversation, she didn't need to worry about others judging her harshly. Though he looked a little creepy, she felt he wasn't the judgmental type. Despite the fact he judged her by her appearance. "My name is Spencer: travelling merchant and bard. I'm in my twenties." It was bullshit, but the most believable age she could fish up over the years. Since she couldn't quite age, trying to stay young-looking with the excuse of still aging like a normal human requires her to lie about her age. At least until she learns how to brew illusion potions which will make her appear as though she's aged...

Spencer slides on her backpack and greets Vamon with a more confident grin given her introduction, and presumably his. "Just follow me~! I can lead you straight to the barracks and back." Voice quiet as a mouse, Spencer begins leading the way to Vamon's destination. It wouldn't be an awful long trip, but one that could still use some idle conversation, if her companion would allow it. "So, where do you come from...? There are only so many places out there to come from, but people tend to surprise you. Me especially, since I'm something of a wimp, ehehee...!"

'This is... odd. Why are my cheeks feeling so warm...? Nerves...?'

Spencer felt confused, but mentally shrugged at the strange symptoms, guiding the young man to his destination.
@rivaan
Oh no it's not the dark, it's the endless day. No cycle, no new beginnings, no synchronicity with the world, no universal method of time keeping or arrangement making.

You eat when you are hungry, sleep when you are tired, bath when you are dirty, otherwise work everything else. And everyone does it to their own accord. You wake up as others go to sleep.
You might have counted 10 sleeps to another's 8.
There is no reason to differentiate your meals.
No countdown to the end of the day. It's endless...
Just a continuous struggle, stuck frozen in the eternal darkness of time till you die.

Lack of a sun stone signals the death of tomorrow.

Thank fuck Spencer has a sun stone then! xD
