Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

A grunt sounds out from nearby, and it doesn't take Emile too long to locate the source. Having avoided contact with the butler of the mansion Emile was free to roam about the hall, though again she needn't roam far, as the subsequent study which connected to the hall bore fruit to the source of the noise: Grian. He was on his knees, clutching the sides of his head in agony. Emile was horrified.

"G-Grian...? You don't look well at all!" Spoke Emile, stating the obvious. She was in a bit of a fret as to what to do. She wasn't very good at dealing with stressful situations. "O-oh, uhh, sh-shall I get you a glass of water? Can you stand? G-Grian...?" She speaks in a gentle tone to try not to make his headache worse. Even as she begins to shake and sweat, Grian's health was her priority. Unfortunately she didn't have a spell capable of healing headaches, and silently curses her inability to properly manifest better yang spells. Getting on her hands and knees to be on his level, Emile looks up at the bigger man with a gentle expression. "W-would you like me to make you lighter, so I can p-put you down on a chair...?" She didn't mean to rapid-fire questions at him, but Emile was genuinely worried for Grian's sake. After all, he was the one who took her in and gave her a place to stay, even though she didn't know who she was entirely. It would be the least she could do.
@ONL Well we haven't seen any explosions or fan-service yet, so I'd assume it's the sequel ;)

Aether wasn't really good at jokes, but even she knew that Merak wasn't being completely serious...

... right?

"I'm not fearful. I'm simply a little annoyed." Aether reminded him adamantly. "Also, while I do believe that certain machines can display emotion-like responses, I do not believe this one to be such a machine. Therefore it's hard to imagine such a contraption could, in fact, display or sense emotion. Emotions have a deep connection with the Force; machines do not." Always willing to argue over her point of view. While she was certainly accepting of others viewing the world differently, her deeply spiritual sense made her voice her own opinion often, especially when not asked for. It also made her statement about 'not being fearful' seem a little less trustworthy.

Aether listened attentively as Alessia explained the situation, and felt somewhat reserved about destroying something in which she could gain so much knowledge from. Then again, that was part of their secondary objective, and Aether knew their enemies would also learn their ways if the temple were to remain standing. Ether sighed. "It is a shame that such a sacred place is to be destroyed, however hopefully we can preserve the knowledge it contains, if nothing else. I assume Captain Craske has the knowledge to pull off such a large-scale demolition?" Quizzed Aether once more. She had joined Craske on missions before, though since Aether wasn't appointed missions as much as her comrades, it meant they didn't know one-another an awful lot. Even so she knew he was quite capable, and felt confident of their success with him on their side. He had proved himself to her, so she trusted him.

'Let us hope everything goes to plan. Valkaina could do with the knowledge of this temple.' The Mirialan thought with a furrowed brow, something which she often did when thinking. Her mind went back to her master's words about knowledge once more, and she found herself silently wishing she could further her own and Valkaina's knowledge of the Jedi way. While she knew her master had distaste for the Jedi Code, he admitted there was much to be learned from them, more than she could learn from her comrades in Valkaina. She would trust the knowledge of the temple before that of her comrades.
Travelling Merchants: Vampires in Disguise! :D

Spencer

The merchant known as Spencer awoke to the gentle shine of her sun stone, signalling daylight. While the light itself radiated no actual warmth, the illusion of heat still hit Spencer after passing out beneath a lamp. Not to mention the emotional warmth of seeing her most prized position still around her neck.

Head upon her pack and cloak resting on her like a blanket, Ira was surprisingly comfortable with her setup. After all, forty years of sleeping on the stone-cold floor was something one would get used to eventually. Spencer was no different, and as her head rose from her bag, she took a quick look at her surroundings, simultaneously tucking the sun stone back into her undershirt. She was in The Square, town square of Shezze, located next to a bench chiseled from stone. It wasn't the most luxurious place, sure, but it brought her some protection from the few elements which actually made it into the underground cave system. It also served as decent protection from anyone who might wander the town extra early, and catch a glimpse of her sun stone during 'daylight' hours.

Speaking of people wandering early, a young man and two women whom Spencer didn't recognise found their way to The Square, though they left almost as soon as they had come, likely heading to their own destinations. Meanwhile, Spencer put on her coat and rummaged through her pack, her hand pulling out a deep blue elixir. The elixir in question was an illusion potion, to help her disguise herself among the commoners of Shezze and other towns. Put simply it turned her eyes deep blue, and made her fangs a little less visible. This helped greatly in Spencer's business, since there was no way anybody would buy things from a vampire; in fact it was likely the reason she could even have a business at all! She sure owed a lot to the potions.

Her gulps carry a small echo within the empty town square, as would just about anything in the caves. As soon as she finishes the liquid in it's entirety her eyes change from their usual bloody red to a soft and gentle blue, and she sets the empty bottle back into her pack. Now down to three bottles, Ira summarizes that she has but a short amount of time left, and replenishing her stock would be wise. "Only twelve hours, huh...?" It was enough to last her into the night, when she usually sold her wares, but it wouldn't get her much further. She knew she would need to replenish a bottle or two today, if she wanted to stick around in Shezze much longer...

... Which didn't sound like the best idea, mind. After all what little food and water she'd held onto had been sold off to those who desperately needed it, the freezing over of the town's water supply causing many to go dehydrated. Now all she had were necklaces the people here couldn't afford, a rusty dirk, some reading material, and a vase. Not exactly the kinds of contents she wished for, but it was all she had. At least she could read some of the books she had in her pack. God knew she loved her reading.

Still, she planned on sticking around at least a day, to use up her potions so she could restock them on her journey back to the next town. Maybe there she could sell her wares more affordably. If there was one thing Shezze was good for, it was that the tunnel leading back to another town, which contained many of the materials she needed for her illusion potions. It was also a good place to go if she was desperate for a feed, but thinking about such things made her feel sick...

'Just... don't think about it, Ira... Don't think about it...'

With a big morning stretch, Spencer greeted the day with a smile. There wasn't too much to do in the small town except look for ingredients, sell things, speak with the locals, see the chapel, do her own thing, and visit the shop, so Ira opted to give her books a read. The Square was often a quiet enough reading place during the day, and didn't house many visitors nor noise, making it ideal for hanging out peacefully in. It was also a place she could practice with her violin, but that was usually better suited for night time where there was more people about. So, taking a seat upon the bench in which she had slept under till the morning, Spencer pulled out one of the ancient philosophical texts she had and began reading.
@Lyla I'd still stick with ya; Locket needs ladies, dammit! :D But seriously, shame nobody is quite active enough to continue. I love my green-haired baby~! ;-;
@DirtyDingo Yeah I was just going by the CS XD I'll have to edit it in later :P
@Letter Bee I'm good; Emile is too much of a goody-too-shoes and her parents from this world wouldn't be interested in such things ^-^
So Raissa's about to fuck the jukebox and wants to redecorate ^-^ Your guys' turn! :D

Sleep was boring as Hell in the afterlife. Especially when it's essentially impossible to sleep when you're dead, and even more so when surrounded by such noisy comrades. Charlie and Randy switched places, Abigail and Jonathan's voice grated the ears, and she could've sworn Alejandra chuckled at her desperation for peace. Today was not Raissa's day.

Thankfully, she could find solace in the song which ticked over on the jukebox in the Deadly Room. "Yes. YES! Ooooohh there is a God! I love you, jukebox!" Suddenly Raissa was up and in front of the jukebox, hugging the machine and nuzzling it like a puppy, her ear close to the speakers so she can hear the song better. It also meant she could protect it if anyone went against her choice in music. They probably wouldn't want to get close to the psycho with the metal throwing cards...

"I'll take a drink, Jerv-sweetie~!" She says in a much happier tone than before, her sporadic nature being rather common in the Deadly Room. It almost sounded like she were flirting with him, though it appeared as though the jukebox would be the one getting that kind of attention from Raissa tonight. "Also Jerv, quick question: can we get, like, private rooms in here and stuff? I was thinking about renovating the place, make it more homely and less cramped." As soon as she finished speaking she began humming the tune of the song, picking up mid-verse with surprising memory skill.
