Dante was wolfing down on his food when he noticed that the end of Avery staff was glowing. He slowly wondered if it was always glowing like that- of course, not it;a magic staff and he should know better. Dante then turned the so it was horizontal and then toss it to Avery when Avery called for it, only to have it toss back like nothing was every happening.

"False alarm Mr Dante~ You can have it back."

"Though I..ah need to go to the bathroom to...powder...my...nose. Yes. That's it. You stay here, I'll be right on back~"

Avery told him.

Though Dante continued to look at him with the same calm expression inside he was thinking...Hmmm yeah, that bullshit. he thought with a dumb-founded look. The staff glowing out of nowhere, Avery's behavior, the de-summoning of the strange feathered; yea so many flags have been raised and you don't need the training Dante receive from his clan to know Avery was sugar-coating things by 11. The way he sees it this staff didn't go off for at random, it serves a special purpose, that why Avery hesitate to hand it to him for safe keeping when they first met earlier. Never-the-less Dante waited a few seconds before going after Avery. He didn't know why but something tell him things are going to go south.

Dante was sitting down, wolfing down his food when he noticed that a newcomer was poking around near eh room only to be stopped by the Giant. It seems like shit was going to go down so he decided to pull his mouth away from his plate to disarmed the situation. He walked up to them. "Whats going over her-*Sniff*" His half canine nose begin to pick up a scent he should have notice earlier. His calm face then twisted from calm to extremely shocked. This wasn't the first time he smelled this time of scent and it set off all sort of flashbacks. He then rushed to the source. "Moved!" He said right after pushing both Evan and the giant out of the way showing little restrained showing sigh of high anxiety. "No no no no no no NO!" Dante yelled while running to where the smell was.

"How long? Ah...8 years didn't I say earlier Mr Dante? So that would make it when I was still reeeeally little. Like 11."

Dante then gave her a glare. "One time was enough Avery, besides i was just making sure cause i never saw theses places on the world map" He told her calmly. However, when he heard the rest of the story he began to frown and lower his ears when you heard the rest of her story. "I'm sorry that you're a long way from home, i'm glad you were able to find a family in his kingdom.".

With Avery telling him the for some reason his...continent(?) do use magic at all he can sort of understand the maid girls skepticism about magic. She even back jumped when he created a fireball, obvious she never saw magic before, that definitely confirm it. Suddenly Avery used water spell freeze the fireball while it was above his hand causing it to fall into it and nearly fall to the floor, but with Dante being strong he was able to keep it from falling. He then turned to Avery. "I'm not an idiot, I wouldn't create a fireball i would be able to control." He told her arrogantly.

Then Avery used her summoning magic to summon a feathery beast with a long neck that and that maid girl falls backward in his chair. Dante quickly got out of his chair to help her out but saw her underwear the process causing him to brush a little. He was a bit embarrassed but offered her while looking at her face and not her underwear. "Good job, Avery your spell cause this poor girl to hurt herself." He pointed out. Though his spell spooked the maid girl out, it was only fair Dante to point out her mistake in this since she did it twice to him.

Once the maid girl was up he then turned to the purple haired guys who scorned the two of them for using magic to created such chaos. He then bows in a Japanese like fashion. "I'm sorry, I and my partner should have been more carefully about using magic in this tavern. We are sorry for interrupting the peace of the tavern and promise it will not happen again." He told him sincerely.

"Mmm - Ah~ So, Dante was it? You have a fine mate, you are very lucky."

Dante could help but smile when he heard Kyojin comment. He then began rubbing the back of his head. "Hey thank you. " He seems that Kyojin comment broke through Dante cold exterior, it also helped that he was going to get something to eat after waiting for about 5 hours. "Nice bandana." He told him before laying back in his chair and waiting for his food. As soon as Yoshiodu brought their food Dante thanked her started wolfing his soup and meat down like it was going to disappear in just a few seconds only to stop when the foreigners from the other table started acting weird when they saw Avery trick. It found it weird because they acted like they never seen Magic in their lives before and not to mention they start talking about this Place(?) he believe called earth. "Your foreign too Avery?" he asked her though he wondered why he didn't notice it before.

And then finally the Maid girl begin saying things that didn't make sense to him.

"Metia? What the f*ck is that."
"Just strings and mirrors like everything else."
"Stupid! Don't you understand even the most logical things? It, isn't, real. There is no such thing as magic or hidden abilities. All is fake!"

"I'm sorry what...Do they not have magic or metia in Jilpan(he means Earth)...are they outlawed or something?" He asked them curiously as he wonders how the folk from Jilpan live out their lives without such assets. "Hey..." He said getting their attendance. "Watch!" he told them holding out his hand to them with his palm facing the ceiling. He then said the incantation; "Goa!" and then suddenly a bright fireball was formed hovering above his palm casting off real heat which Dante could barely feel being the one who created the fireball in the first place. "This is what you call fire magic, do you believe in it now." He asked the maid girl calmly and was willing to let the two of them come closer to it as long as they are carefully not to burn themselves.

Dante couldn't help but tilt his head and right ear when the maid girl called Avery a...Otaku. He looked confused. "Otaku? what the hell is that suppose to mean?" Dante asked her. Dante may not know the word cause it was Japanese slang, That word probably wouldn't even exist here. "Is that a insulted?" he asked them thought he seem confusion and not the least bit angry at the maid girl. Never the less he smile when the girl said she forgive him. He then bows in a Japanese like fashion "Thank you...I will see to it that i don't make the same mistake twice." He told her calmly before getting Avery off his back and sitting down and turn to Yoshinobu who was stir a pot. "I would like a bowl...and do you have any meats miss?" He asked the tavern worker he still had some money left over from the Bounty money he got earlier.

Dante begins to realize that he made a mistake when the maid girl face began to turn red and she went off on him. Spooking him and confusing him as he wondered where everything went wrong. To be honest, he got a bit frustrated at her. "Geez no need to-" HE was about to say before stopping himself when he realises that was a bad way to start off a conversation.

Dante then sighed before getting out of his chair before getting on one knee, taking his sword off his back, and pressing the sharp tip of it to the ground(with the sheath still on): Taking a pose similar to a saluting knight. "I Deeply apologies, I told you that cause looked groom earlier and the tavern lady suggests i give you a compliment to cheer you up." He told her calmly and shamefully. In hindsight, he should have to know better to trust women who work at a shady tavern. It also doesn't help that she is friends with Avery, taking her advice was just asking for trouble.

Dante then got off his knee in time to have Avery jump on his back, being a trained warrior Dante was able to stay on his feet and support Avery weight real well. It was just the blowing of the ears that caught him off guard and made him blush for the first time today. "What, of course not. I would never do something so shady without a good reason." Dante honestly told her.

"I already agreed to date you and i attended to stick by it." Dante added with a calm smile before looking at the pink her girl with a smile "Avery..." He said softly. looking like he seem like he was going to say something sweet to her, but Then like lighting his happiness quickly then turned to anger. "Can you please get off my back!"

To be honestly Dante hesitates to let Avery go with her, however, Avery seems like she knew Yoshinobu well so he trusted her enough to make her own decisions. He sighed and fold his arms in front of him. "Alright...just stay safe and call out to me if you need something." He told her calmly. He then raises his ears and pointed to them. "I'll keep theses ears out for you." He told her with a smile.

Now the Avery was in the back. Dante focused on the girl in the maid outfit. As someone who studied hard in law enforcement, Dante was trained to detect a lie through a person body language and her glanced away mean that she was possibly sugar coating the other girl situation a little and Yoshinobu request could mean that the brown haired girl could us a confidants boost.

Cheer her up you know it the right thing to do.

Dante then sighed taking a minute to choose the right words, putting on a smile, before going over to the table next to the maid girl, the young men, and the giant who seems friendly. "Hey, you look nice in that outfit." He told maid girl calmly with a soft smile. Then he decides to go for some small talk. "So I just so happen to overhear that you guys are from...Jil-pan was it?" He asked them through he mispronounce japan, to be honest, he never heard of japan and assumed it was just a small kingdom that he overlooked. He then frowns a bit before his ears raise "I'm sorry, theses ear couldn't help but overhear things." He calmly said and as he told him his dog ears begin to twitch.
