@Pundii Hmm, well he does carry the Gully name, and in theory he has some claim to the throne if Ithobal were to die, so Arthur would do well to at least keep Tybalt close, since Tybalt is as much selfish is he is loyal. Loyalty ends where abuse begins, so make sure not to make it too obvious Tybalt is just a tool to him, and we'd be good.

And the girl will be young and malleable, I'm sure he can handle it.

@Pundii Alright, so what is the relation between Arthur and Tybalt, in this case? I see many of his 'likes' reach over to Tybalt as in Tybalt being loyal to the family (to the point of sacrifice if needed). If so, Tybalt could be the greatest asset so far for Arthur, and I can see Arthur generating a mix of trust in Tybalt (maybe even a friendship) and at the same time a cold, shallow feigned-friendship in order to convince Tybalt to do as he says.

Also, I'm creating a princess so you'll have two daughters, fuku.

@Kho I can't really act on it ICly anyway. I know the lines between OOC and IC perfectly well. Rest easy knowing that, unless Laxion speaks out some form of support or compromise between accepting the Khargats, and punishing them, Bastien will still see him as a soft-hearted heretic.

@NarcissisticPotato I was planning on having Tybalt ultimately get betrothed (not for love, obviously) to someone. But that would be far in the future and it could literally be anyone because I was intending for it to be political.

As for my princess, she's too young to actually marry (when I make her, I'm looking at faceclaims now).

@Kho Laxion is not the enemy (nor is any other official emissary) to Bastien. However, Bastien would find himself most surprised that these other 'councilors' support the Khargat emissary. If he had come in with naught more than gifts, Bastien could've agreed, even liked the idea of Khargats there (for the sake of future expansion with the help of Khargats) but the fact that they were idiotic enough to camp in Paragon Path kind of threw that out of the window (as in; it's a nice thing to put in the RP and I liked it, but it ruined any chance of Bastien coming to terms with this.)

Which one is more believable when it comes to religion -- some guys that don't even agree with the building of a statue of the king, or an order of noble religious, pious knights who swear their life to both God and the Emperor.
