@Javier The entire character seems to be fine except for the history (though, honestly, I don't really care about that. If you want to play a guy whose gonna get questioned at every point in his life simply for being weird, be my guest, but it won't make his life in the Jiyutai easier) and the kekkei genkai -- which needs a rework. There's too many bonuses and there's exactly 0 weaknesses.

◈ Customs

The Osuushi clan has multiple customs, the most notable and important one being the service of being shrine maidens of the shrine of Gyuki, which was constructed approximately 90 years ago, by a fisherman. The primary task is taking care of the shrine and the surrounding small temple, cleaning it and lighting the candles every day. Furthermore, worship of Gyuki is very prominent in this clan, perhaps due to the likeliness to this tailed beast.

Some other customs include the lack of political influence, as well as their lack of participation in the shinobi forces of Kirigakure before it was massacred. Their clan had always been a non-descript clan before the fateful day when they inherited their horns, and after that they were largely left alone to develop their own shinobi arts. Due to this, none of them really seemed to attend shinobi academy, and as such, it was apparent that they were a clan of shinobi who lived in Kirigakure only by proxy, not because they wanted to be part of Kirigakure.

Until some time ago they also dressed in traditional religious wardrobe, going as far as to dress as monks. However, with the times that changed and the Osuushi became free to wear what they wanted during the duration of their off-duty times. On the duty of being a shrine maiden, they were of course forced to wear religious clothing that fit the duties, but that was merely a four hour period of every day.

◈ Special Traits

Apart from the horns? The Osuushi clan is blessed with a virile and capable level of shinobi skills, having a natural strength due to their (presumed) history, as well as having an extraordinary level of chakra. Most Osuushi never learn to control their chakra, as most of them are not interested in shinobi arts. Those that are however find that their chakra, while plentiful, is naturally hard to control for some reason. Senhime is among the few who seems to be capable of controlling it to the point of becoming a skilled shinobi, where as Akumako is totally incapable of performing chakra control, barely being able to use it to climb surfaces. However, the chakra she does use is often volatile and dangerous, which is a trait of the Osuushi clan, a trait which Senhime does not possess and therefore has put her in a somewhat a-typical position within the clan.

Another special trait is their hard work ethic. As the name suggests, they are related and find a 'spirit animal' of sorts in the oxes, which are hard working animals that don't really complain that often. However, this has less to do with physical traits or anything related especially to the Osuushi clan, but rather is just the way that they are raised. You take care of the shrine and you do it without complaining, because that's our destiny.

◈ Influences

The Osuushi influences have mostly been religious, as their 'worship of Gyuki' has taken on a small scale of following. Most of the followers are Osuushi clan members that are typically found with horns on their head. Those other followers are small in number, and have joined the cult on own volition after visiting the shrine. In total the shrine ranks around 50 in people - that is, before the attack happened and most of the followers of Gyuki died. Those that escaped, like Senhime and Akumako, are now left without a shrine and therefore have to wander aimlessly looking for a new location for worship. Sadly, that place will never exist, because the shrine was the only viable place of worship. As you can tell from this, their influence has always been small and, recently, has become even smaller due to the deaths among their ranks.

Or is it? With the arrival of Senhime in the Jiyutai, quickly rising through the ranks to eventually take over a small splinter group, and then unite the Jiyutai to a degree, their influence has become larger, though they are still small in number and the numbers are unlikely to go up soon. Never the less, at the end of the story, the Osuushi are small, but with Senhime at the head of an army that is beginning to provide a threat to the Hamajo Confederation.

◈ History

Long, long ago, when the waves were still full of fish in the territories of Kirigakure, there was a fisherman. His name was Oss Kimedo, a non-assuming man, who was still young and in his prime. He didn't do much, and lived in a cabin near the ocean, where he'd fish for his own fish sometimes, and would sell the left over fish. He was relatively poor, but that didn't stop him from fishing like he loved to do. Until one lucky day he found a gift of Gyuki himself. As luck would have it, Gyuki got one of his horns cut off in an assault, unknown to Oss at this time was that A, the Raikage, had cut off the horn. As he pulled up his net, he saw that the horn was stuck in it, glowing purple. Not realizing what it was, he took it home, where he more carefully examined it. In this period of time he held the horn up to his head, perhaps as a result of a vision he received telling him to do so. The horn became attached to his head and slowly integrated with his skull, disappearing and then re-appearing as two horns on the side of his head. This would be the birth of the Osuushi clan, as he renamed himself after his new likelihood - that of an Ox, like Gyuki was.

Following that, the powers of Gyuki flowed through him. Not like a pseudo-jinchuuriki, obviously, as he had no natural shinobi powers. Merely his chakra multiplied a lot, and he became a lot more capable physically. Despite having the perfect chance to adapt to a shinobi lifestyle, he chose not to, instead erecting a shrine in the name of Gyuki in his house. Over the course of time, his offspring also gained horns, and so the Osuushi clan grew, and so did the house.

Slowly it became a temple with a large shrine of Gyuki inside it, the tailed beast being revered as the source of power for the Osuushi clan members. Some artifacts made it's way to this location, some being 'given voluntarily' while others were gifted by passer by's who held some sort of relevant article to Gyuki.

This posed an interesting question as they were frequently assaulted by vagabonds, who tried to steal these artifacts. Using the power given to them by the eight tails, they managed to defeat these vagabonds time and time again, which was proof of their strength despite not being shinobi's.

Their service continued until 11 years ago, when their service was swiftly ended with the arrival of covert forces, which were suspected Hamajo Confederate Loyalists, who ended the lives of all those in Kirigakure. As the shrine was on the outskirts of Kirigakure, they had some time to react, but stubborn people of the Osuushi clan predicted that Gyuki would defend them, which was true to a degree.

Using their natural power, the veteran shrine maidens and keepers were capable of defending themselves against the initial patrols of the attackers, which weren't quite the capable soldiers that could defend against untrained, but very strong and zealous defenders of Gyuki. However as more Osuushi fell, the elderly were left to defend themselves, and naturally that didn't go so well. Senhime was the sole survivor, it seemed, only due to her natural shinobi expertise. She grabbed Akumako, and made a run for it, luckily escaping the shinobi with the usage of her jutsu.

Akumako is relatively easy to spot given her really small stature, pale skin, red eyes and .. hmm, we are forgetting something here. Oh, right, the fact that she has two large horns and two small ones protruding from her skull. Well, that seems to cover everything. Ah, no? You need more detail to hunt her down? Ah.. Hm, well, she has really pointed ears, both of which have 2 earrings in them. They jingle when she moves around, kind of like her own cat-bells or cow-bells, you know? Her skin is quite pale, but is accented by the red warpaint on her arms. Furthermore, her face is relatively easy to recognize. She has a small face framed by her simple bobcut blonde hair. Her nose is also extremely small, but quite pointy. Besides this she has no real facial features to set her apart. What, you couldn't see her just with the horns?!

As for her physique, she is well trained, so naturally she is quite muscled. Oh, what's that? That's her sister? Oh, apparently Akumako herself isn't that muscled. She seems to be rather skinny, in fact. Her chest is relatively small in comparison to that of her sister (or any other female) but that is probably because of her rather small stature in general. Her midriff is toned, though, maybe because she's skinny. But don't underestimate her because of this!

Her clothing hides most of her physique anyway, except for her mid riff, which is exposed with some see-through material. She's heavily clad in armor for some reason, but seems to only have covered her non-vital areas, for some other reason. This girl doesn't really seem to know what she's doing, but her record is like that of a maniac at the same time. Something tells us that this Jiyutai is something special.

Oh, as for her equipment, she carries around a giant kanabo for a weapon.

Her build is okay. She's very skinny so any definition or tone in her body comes from that, and it comes to her rather easily. Her midriff is extremely well toned, not to the point of having a sixpack, but it's easy to see the lines and contours of her body, especially because she wears skin-tight see-through material in that area to show off her midriff.

Her arms are as skinny as you'd expect from a slender girl like her, with the added benefit of her skinny nature giving her the ability to create muscle where really there's none. The same goes for her legs, but those are covered by her rather large and wide pants, so it's not that noticeable.

❖ Personality--

Akumako seems to be a rather normal 16 year old, in the sense that she's just normal, bubbly and somewhat clueless as to real world events and their meaning. At the same time there seems to be something.. rooted deeper inside of her. She has a rather strange fixation, near obsession, with a certain shrine to Gyuki that her family maintained, which got destroyed in the process of Kirigakure's conquest and decimation. For a person who survived an onslaught on her home island, she doesn't seem to suffer from any adverse effects or trauma's from that. This has baffled those who came into contact with her, as well as the psychologist specialists that analyzed her combat behavior from the available records and notes. Some have gone as far as to say that her name Devil's Child is rather accurate.

However, the Jiyutai seem to disagree and see Akumako as a generally benevolent, if not somewhat childish, jonin. She is kind to all, and somewhat sweet when the situation demands it, but it comes paired with a near child-like affection which is hard for some to deal with given the fact that she's both somewhat grown up, as well as a jonin. It makes her somewhat easy, but awkward to deal with at times. Similarly, she is not the 'leader' type that she's expected to be, and therefore operates more like a chunin who happens to have people following her around like they're her pet dogs. Oh well, it doesn't seem to bother her and she's sufficiently powerful enough to warrant her rank, and to be capable of preventing any kind of escalation..

❖ History--

As with most survivors from Kirigakure, their story is rather simple. They were in the outskirts of Kirigakure when the attack happened, so, they survived the attack. But Akumako has a .. different twist. She was 5 when the attack happened on Kirigakure, some 11 years ago, and would've died if it weren't for her sister saving her in time. When her sister, Senhime, she then linked up with some random Jiyutai group, which was at that time still a splintered group of different smaller groups of shinobi that were merely 'rebelling' in the smallest sense of the word.

As Akumako grew up with the Jiyutai, she doesn't have much 'childhood memories' except from Kirigakure. Back home, her clan maintained a certain shrine to Gyuki, which seems to be the only thing she can remember from that time. Between then and her 'coming of age' she simply remembers having to move around a lot, usually being on the back of some shinobi, until she was old enough to do it herself. Growing up with the Jiyutai meant that at least she got some decent time in with the shinobi, and to her, any lifestyle that isn't a shinobi lifestyle makes very little sense.

It continued like that until Senhime started unifying the Jiyutai under one common banner, or rather, started bringing them together to work together more closely. That was nearly two years ago, when Akumako was still 14. Ever since then the traveling got a lot more intense and so did the battling. While Akumako was kept out of battle for her own sake early on, she was now participating and in fact seemed to be a leading factor in the fight (despite her lack of leadership).

Despite the fact that she never obtained a formal education in the shinobi arts, or any actual jutsu training, she has learned how to apply chakra, and use it to do the basics - walk on water, and other surfaces. Furthermore, the kanabo is highly effective when paired with chakra, highly enhancing it strength. For that reason, she seems to be as capable if not more capable than most shinobi her age, and well beyond that. Something about her seemed to instill fear in the enemies. Maybe it's her religious zeal with which she talks about this 'shrine' of her family.

Or perhaps it's the fact that she might smack a bitch with her kanabo.

❖ Familial ties--

Akumako doesn't remember much of her family, only that it was just an average family that loved each other. However, given the death of her parents in the Kirigakure massacre, and her sister being the only known Osuushi familymember that she knows of, the ties can be described as rather close, since she's very close to her sister.

❖ Dreams, short term goals, and fears.--

Her dreams are naturally to rebuild the shrine and continue worshipping it. In the short term.. hm, well, that would probably rely mostly on what Senhime wanted to achieve. This likely means the downfall of the Hamajo confederation, which is only a sidegoal for Akumako.

Her fears are that she never gets to worship Gyuki again, which is a realistic fear since Kirigakure is not accessible right now, for reasons that are unknown to most of the population of the Hamajo confederation. Therefore her holy site is also not accessible.

Her fighting style consists mostly of running in and smacking people with her kanabo. Her lack of knowledge when it comes to ninjutsu, genjutsu or any other real jutsu minus the one exception, means that she had so much time to hone her natural skills such as speed, strength and her battle instincts. As such, she can punch for above her own level, without having to use any real jutsu whatsoever. Naturally she knows the three basic ninjutsu, as well as an extra jutsu she picked up over the years, but that's about it. This makes her rather predictable, and doesn't give her a lot of flexibility when it comes to application, but them Akumako wasn't one to really care about that anyway considering she powerhouses herself through most obstacles regardless.
