@Grimhildr seconded, this page isn't secured for me. It seems to be just the mainpage?
@JBRam2002
You're right, I don't want to burst any blood vessels when people look at my CS and see someone who doesn't make them insta-orgasm. But I'll put a new pic so they will.

i fucking hate you

@Ellri Only one. You select which one out of all your groups in your profile. Or you select none and don't show any. Think steam groups on steam.

@Mahz an idea that just came to me was a badge system. We already have custom titles, but what about allowing people to create groups and letting people join those (invite based, public groups, private groups). You can then upload an avatar for that group and a miniature version could be displayed on your posts under your avatar, maybe next to the 'bio, 2hrs ago' buttons?

Not crucial to the guild but I feel it'd be pretty cool.
Keeping it short to be concise and 'straight to the point' isn't always the best solution either though.
"I'll focus down to one or two martial arts. Despite them being so similar in all. I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I know the differences."

Allow me to be a pretentious cunt for a second. I have a black belt in Tang Soo Do, the historical predecessor of Tae Kwon Do, and eh, literally all martial arts in Asia are super different. Even my own sport, which is supposed to be traditional Tae Kwon Do, has become suuuuuuuper different to Tae Kwon Do. And they're fucking related with a single generation gap. Wing Chun is incomparable to Thai boxing is incomparable to Shotokan Karate is incomparable to Indian martial arts is incomparable to pencak silat is incomparable to...

etc. You get the point. This might just be the dumbest thing I read all day.

Also how the fuck is anyone ''well built'' for Asian arts? You have to be small and nimble for most of pencak silat but that doesn't work for Shotokan Karate as much as you'd hope it would, so that's totally vague and an awkward thing to write.
@Cynder Just know that some conspiracy theories get the broad strokes right, and geopolitics are often very important in shaping 'how the world works.' Being cynical about everything will get you a long way in my experience.
I saw it and I'll take a look tomorrow. Thanks! Quite curious to see what it contains.

Nothing majorly important but it offers some info on how politicians see media (in some countries). It also offers insight on how Marxism kickstarted propaganda efforts for example.

It's a good read if you are interested in information warfare (which is a real thing though it's nowhere near as conspiracy like as websites like infowars like to portray it). Intelligence agencies have engaged in information warfare since forever and the best examples are probably from the Cold War. Soviets were masters of disinformation tactics.

Are you referring to the common theory that sensationalized headlines are drawing attention away from issues that governments wish for their people to "ignore"?

Media control strategy. I have a .pdf of a book somewhere that I'll forward you if I can find it.
