Dai Dai looked around in amazement; while him and master V’raar had attended many diplomatical parties and celebrations over the years, and even a few cantina’s here and there when the need for information was high, they had never been to a place quite as shabby as this. Indeed, calling this a “place” was about as far as one could get. It was dilapidated, that was for sure, but it called itself a cantina and served drinks and food, then Dai Dai wasn’t going to argue. In fact, he was more than happy to glance around a few times at the more interesting characters; his eyes even lingering on a particularly attractive Twi’lek, who dragged her fingers over his shoulder, staring at him seductively, before laughing and continuing on her path towards the exit. Had Dai Dai stayed on Iridonia with his parents, and entered the same lifestyle as them, he might’ve gotten used to these things, but as a Jedi padawan – and one sworn to celibacy and a life of upholding justice and order – it was hard to see these things as anything other than… strange.

At the same time, the simple touch of a stranger – a particularly attractive one, yes – was enough to make Dai Dai’s heart race, being an inexperienced young man who spent most of his days looking at a charming green alien lecture him about the force. Yoda was wise, but well, this Twi’lek was hot, and it was hard to argue with that. It was almost enough to make Dai Dai temporarily forget that his temple was burning. Almost.

The sudden thud of a finger against his chest alerted Dai Dai that he was, in fact, not running through a meadow with a strange Twi’lek, but standing in a decrepit cantina, home to nothing more than scum and villainy, likely breathing in at least thirty different kinds of disease just from the cigarra alone. This place was, indeed, a place.. and nothing more.

Dai Dai’s eyes looked down at the Gungan’s finger, before looking back at the alien – a dangerous looking one, to be sure. Were master V’raar here… well, perhaps he’d have told Dai Dai to steer clear of this particular one. Lacking his insight and intuition when it came to strangers, Dai Dai was left without guidance, and without guidance, it was hard to discern what this alien wanted. Was he friend, or foe? Dai Dai felt the force push and throb inside of his head – like a strong headache, temporarily, heavily focused and yet so uncontrolled, like a burning fire. But understand it he could not.

He spoke slowly, uncertain, “nowhere else to go.” His one eyebrow furrowed, as if he was looking at the man questioningly. The question repeated itself in his mind; friend…? Or foe…? When the Gungan told him to follow him, a sudden presence in the Force alerted Dai Dai. He turned his head, ignoring the Gungan briefly, peering through the masses to see who – or what – had entered the room. The more time passed from when the clones assaulted, the lower the chances were of there being a fellow jedi – in all fairness, Dai Dai was afraid of Anakin himself following him more than anything. Rarely had Dai Dai felt such a strong presence in the force, not even in his master, nor in any of his fellow padawan. Dai Dai was not exactly a skilled user of the ability to sense other’s emotions, but in the moment that Anakin killed master V’raar, it didn’t take much to feel the raw… power, anger, all of it.

But through the masses, it was hard to see anything. There were no jedi – and more importantly, no Anakin. Not as far as Dai Dai could see. So he turned back to the Gungan, and nodded. “Lead the way,” he said. Something in him told him to trust the alien – for now, since he had always liked Gungans – and he followed the Gungan into the private room. It was strange that the man had a private room prepped despite not being in it, but Dai Dai hadn’t the presence of mind – nor the emotional state, to be quite frank – to question this.

As he entered the private room, he glanced around, checking the room out just to make sure he wasn’t walking into a private party for the clone troopers’ high command. That, however, did not seem to be the case.
Starting to think maybe I should have posted today, but it's rather late now. Perhaps I can work a post out quickly.

So that's done. I want to remind everyone that Dai Dai is 18 so he's probably not seen a lot of interesting and attractive ladies. Plus, looking at Yoda for like, 75% of your lifetime probably doesn't prepare you for aliens that actually look good, either.
Hello,

I am looking to continue to expand on my own universe which is the world around Broacien. There is a lot of information about the world posted here, and I am looking to add more to it through the only medium that is acceptable on RPG.. roleplaying.

As it stands there is a lot going on in the universe;

The thousand tribes of the Northern kingdom have finally unified after hundreds of years of primitive tribal lifestyles, with a massive number of nomadic people living here. The king/konungr, Ketill the Hrafn, has managed to do so after an impressive life in which he was a pious holy knight in Broacien (a Servant), a slave in the southern Caliphate (which, at that time, was a sultanate) and a warrior slave for a brief time too. One of his first actions was to slowly unify the tribes and begin the construction of a massive fleet, the likes of which had never before seen on the continent. Using the fleet he sailed south, through the new caliphate, to a newly discovered land called Ye'inyani Mereti -- a land of people whose skin was dark as coal, who lived in extreme riches although isolated from the rest of the world. He raided this place and toppled their golden pyramid, smelting it down and taking it home alongside many thralls from the Ye'inyani Mereti, who now live in the Northern kingdom as thralls (slaves), but also as free men or even well respected warriors.

In Broacien a civil war is looming after the death of king Gregar Balin Grochain, with his two sons Harold and Gregar II vying for control. Harold Carley was given the throne due to being the youngest son, but Gregar II got the lions share of the estates held by the late king, and after the crushing defeat at the hands of the new Khalyfate, which saw the loss of Redsand Castle, the Servants began to rally around Gregar II, who was a far more robust and martial man than his younger brother, Harold, who was more politically powerful. Their three sisters are waiting out the conflict -- having no real horse in the race at the moment.

Both Harold and Gregar are knighting new Servants, with Harold marking his new servants with a single red circular tattoo on the forehead, while Gregar II has had all his loyal servants re-ordained with three circles in a more orange ochre. For those old servants who sided with Gregar (most of them did), the three circles are around the red circle, and they are considered 'veteran knights,' a powerful force that are the elite of the elite. Despite this strength in shock troops, the actual armies of Broacien remain loyal to Harold Carley, and while they are only peasants with spears and leather armor, they make up the bulk of any fighting force. The balance of power remains split evenly, for now.

To the south, the new Khalyfate is dealing with increased religious persecutions. Under the new Caliph, the religious minorities that followed different strains of Sawarism that were previously accepted (and patronized) have been persecuted, with total conversion demanded, or otherwise death. The Khalyf came to power after performing a coup by killing the sultan of old, who he considered to be decadent and borderline heretical. The entire royal family of the Sultanate was killed bar two; Najla and Basim, who escaped with Ketill to the North. Here, the religious minorities of the new Khalyfate might find an ally; one of the two sons of the king has a claim to the throne of the Khalyfate, and it is possible that he might wish to use it and take the land for himself.

A more in depth addition that I am wanting to add to the world is the existence of new places, cultures, settlements, civilizations, etcetera. I am thinking some Aztec/Maya inspired place, alongside perhaps something more inspired by native Americans. Also, European proto-tribes? New continents that can be explored, or where explorers are coming from.

This RP will contain adult themes; warfare, blood, death, adultery, and other dramatic things. It might also include smut, when the scenes call for it. I know, shock and horror, medieval people had SEX? Crazy. To add some additional context to that; smut was also a possibility in the RP that built up most of this, but throughout that entire RP it never really happened; characters that are busy with doing medieval things like war and politics generally do not have a lot of time to be sexing it up everywhere they go. That, too, is crazy. Absolutely bonkers, I know.

Ultimately I am open to any story, character and so forth that you might wish to play. There are a lot of opportunities here and I need to know what exactly you'd want to do. Other than that, reading the thread I linked is obviously a pré.

I look forward to any measure of interest I might get in this.
Also I am gonna double post because fuck it, might as well + it keeps the thread nice and bumped + I need to tag someone and tags that are edited in do not function. @The Wyrm, I'm probably gonna have Dai Dai follow the Gungan instead of have him interact with you, because that just makes most sense to me from a dialogue perspective (Dai Dai speaks to a Gungan, then interrupts the discussion to immediately greet someone he somehow saw with the eyes in the back of his head) so I propose that either...

a) Kade follows Dai Dai after spotting him following a shady figure, recognizing the robes Dai Dai is wearing (and his lightsaber)
b) Kade recognizes the presence of a force user (Dai Dai's connection to the force is, as far as I'm concerned, quite good, but he's not well versed enough in the force to know what all the feelings he feels through the force mean, and probably wouldn't recognize a force signature from Kade, so that falls to you)
c) Kade intervenes with the Gungan, in which case you'd need to edit your post to reflect that

I'm gonna go ahead and assume we will do A, because that'd be easiest for all of us I think, unless you want to intervene in the scene and want to edit your post. What do you think?
@Saix it would, at the very least, give you a way off Nar Shaddaa, which is a worthy endeavor for all of us.
@The Wyrm maybe not, but you might've known Dai Dai's master, and well, the guy's kinda just going around in Padawan robes pretending to be not a Padawan, so it'd not be too hard to figure out for a jedi knight. If he ends up in the same spot, he'd know what he was 100%.
@Sep more accurate than you know.

@Saix if you're hunkering for some interaction and want a way to get off of the planet (no idea why your character would want that) perhaps we could link up -- although I am not sure where Khulbe's home is. That would be a "thing" that could happen, should we wish it so.

Other than that, I'll be waiting for @The Wyrm's post before I interact with the Gungan, since having Wyrms' dood around might be useful (or perhaps not so much, we will see).
@The Wyrm seems I misread I thought I read he was a pirate but it was Sep playing jedi mind tricks on me and triggering dyslexia that I don't have. I don't really wanna kill off the gungan, though, but hey.. if it comes to that.
@The Wyrm just be prepared that your character will need to do all the talking, lest we want to end up getting shot to pieces by angry pirates. Dai Dai might just say something awkward and stupid otherwise.
@Sep, so, I’m confused. You’ve now got a sniper/droid following me?

Lead him to my guy, which is probably what they're planning to use you for, to lead you to other jedi, and then we can deal with him. Ofcourse, I also have a gungan pirate on my ass, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he's our ticket out of there, since I do love gungans and I'm known to be very diplomatic (my character, on the other hand, not).
